Ryan's Not So New Plan

So, the GOP and their new Boy Wonder, Paul Ryan, finally got over their false start and came out with their new plan on how to save the budget. The biggest problem is that their new plan is the same as the old plan that got us into this mess.

You can see a full dissection either by Keith Schmitz or by the Brew City Brawler.

Or if you're a busy person and don't have the time to do all that reading, here is a 21 second recap of the plan:

    IMHO that's just political rhetoric.

Fact is that the Republican proposals curb the deficit much better than Democratic proposals.

Here's a green word for ya. Sustainable. The deficit spending proposed by Democrats (IMHO) is not sustainable.

  3. Rich,

It is impossible to tell what the Republicans proposal would do, since they have made up a lot of numbers and there are a lot of variables that they haven't accounted for.

This was nothing more than a trial balloon to see if they have any revelance left.

  4. Again the only bipartisan support in this is AGAINST the Democratic Budget.

  5. Yeah, not hard to find Blue Dog Democrats who will side with the GOP.

What is bi-partisan is the Democrats don't have show trials to purge DINO's unlike their counterparts.
