Now, a Wisconsin GOP Google ad reads:However, I'm still planning on voting for Battlin' Tom Barrett.Tom "the Taxer" Barret (sic)Sure, the GOP misspelled Barrett's name and the word "Cant", but that's not the only advertising mistake the GOP will make this campaign season.
Higher Taxes, Fewer Jobs
Wisconsin Cant (sic) Afford
Tom the Taxer

I won't vote for Tom "the Taxer" Barret.

Oh.. him... walkin' down the street and then doing what was easy - (dialing 911) Barrett.
ReplyDeleteIf there was a battle, it hasn't been published yet - please tell.
Last time I heard anything on this story, Tom took the hits without fighting back.
Sound like a typical liberal to me.
If I am wrong, let me know, but I don't recall any story of "battling" Tommy landing a punch or much of anything else.
While he is to be lauded for wanting to help, calling 911 and trying to dialogue, I believe the accounts have him as anything but "battling" and if he was... well, he didn't do a very good job of it.
So, despite his good deed, he remains "Tom the empty suit."
A nice guy with no fight and no game.
May I advise that you buy the most recent issue of Milwaukee Magazine? You might learn something.
ReplyDeleteThen again, you appear to be one that is afraid of the truth.
Dis you mean Tom "only white guys can run a school system" Barrett? Or was that Tom "my rich white friends need money for condos so the inner city can just go without fire protection" Barrett? Tom "Union job cuts and furloughs" Barrett? Which one do you plan on voting for again?
ReplyDeleteLooks like the WISDEMS have some grammar issues of their own... They're really emphasizing the word "today" in the first paragraph.

That's OK, both Anonymous 4:19 and Anonymous 7:02 can't use proper grammar either. Perhaps you two were the ones that wrote the GOP ad. Or were you the ones that wrote Walker's Lincoln Day address?
ReplyDeleteI think The "Tom" is Thompson.
