Instead Of Complaining, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Should Be Thankful

Yes, I'm still irked at the insult put up by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel over the weekend.  To refresh the reader's memory, or to inform the new readers, this past Sunday, the local newspaper printed an editorial which complained that today's recall elections as "unnecessary" and "expensive."

But instead of sitting there being bitter and snide, they should be falling to their knees and thanking whatever God or gods they worship that we are doing the recalls.

After all, it could be so very much worse.

We're not having the riots that they are having throughout England, where buildings are being burned and peoples' lives are in danger.

Heck, we're not even using the treasonous, backdoor Machiavellian trickery that the Republicans are using.

Instead, we are acting like true Wisconsinites - straightforward and unrelenting and upright - and following the letter of the law in order to start righting the wrongs that the Republicans have foisted upon us.

The fact that this piece of corporate media trash would even mewl about Wisconsinites exercising their legal rights, as is guaranteed in the Constitution, only re-emphasizes the fact that we should avoid giving them one red cent of our money and for the need for an honest, trust-worthy news source here in the Milwaukee area.

And then they wonder why some people are calling for the restoration of the Fairness Doctrine.
