Charlie Syke's Massive Fail!

If a book event falls in the forest, and no one is there to see it, does it make a noise?

H/T Scot Ross:

This from Charlie Sykes  recent book event in Madison.

That guy is one popular pundit, no wonder TMJ gives him run of the place.

  1. Right wingers are propped up by money. They don't need talent or popularity. Just "catapulting the propaganda"!

  2. Charlie is a walking, talking breathing mouthpiece of the teapublicans. Wouldn't feel bad if his "Moocher" book hit the clearance rack asap.

  3. That photo is WAY too funny. How embarrassing for Sykes.

  4. Don't worry, his book was undoubtedly published by right-wing imprint and will be bought up by a propaganda cess pool such as the Bradley Foundaton and handed out to the faithful. It's the old wingnut welfare system at work. Windbags like Sykes are only successful in a rigged marketplace that subsidizes their professional lying. They can't survive in a free market.

  5. You'd think that Charlie at least had a new friends or family members to "fill" the seats. Guess not.

  7. should've added people digitally to the picture, like the romans "filling" the Colliseum in "Gladiator."

  8. Wow! This ("A Nation of Moochers: America's Addiction to Getting Something For Nothing"...) is Charlie's seventh blockbuster! He just gets more and more popular with each book!
TMJ4 should do a report on his great book event!
Wonder what the book costs? Let's hope it's not available for checkout at your local Public Library.

  9. You should have seen that room a few hours later, when David Maraniss spoke about Obama.
