Whiney Friday

The end of the week in Wisconsin politics brought so much cheap whine to the cheese state that half the population woke up with a headache.

First from convicted felon Kelly Rindfleisch:

“There were times I felt like I wasn’t going to make it through. They drove me to the absolute depths of depression,” Rindfleisch told Wisconsin Reporter during a recent interview at a diner in downtown Sun Prairie, a Madison suburb.

Ever the victim because she did not bring any of this on herself.  Being wrapped up in two major scandals was pure coincidence.  I feel bad she was so depressed, but no one cares about crazy people.

Secondly comes  Friends of Scott Walker:

Because Scott Walker apologizes right?   I guess Scott Walker gets intimidated quite easily.

  1. Speaking of whiny -- what about the garbage posts here complaining about Mike Tate and Mary Burke?

How 'bout those whiny posts this week that each should jump on the john doe bandwagon?

Wouldn't ya know it -- Burke did and the prosecution and state media largely neutered it by proclaiming that walker isn't a target?

Good thing Burke was rather restrained in her ad which has a larger point: walker doesn't work for you.

Better thing DPW doesn't take orders from capper and simpson.

Why does anyone advocate giving false credibility to walkers "partisan" meme?

Given what we've seen in Wisconsin -- and despite cappers enthusiastic cheerleading -- this case is not only going to drag on-and-on; it may never go anywhere.

The best approach is to make it about the lies about Wisconsin's terrible economic performance and hammer home the point that walker doesn't work for in-state interests.

And to win, we can't be whiny -- we need to take back the democratic party here and nationally, the advise dispersed here is less-than-helpful, especially when we're getting our butts handed to us on silver platters.

    1. I just want to be clear because u have been rambling in here for a while now anonymously.

We have been whiny complaining about the Democratic Party but the real thing we need to do is take back the Democratic party.

I cant keep up when you talk out of both sides of your mouth so much.

  2. not both sides of mouth -- there is a point to push back and there is a point to put the brakes on a train wreck.

Good think Tate and Burke don't take direction from you and capper!

How did that "dumpster-o-fun" turn out fer ya anyhow?

The time to push back against dems is when they actually are relevant in the state again.

You're just another version of divide and conquer -- but it generates pageviewsk doesn't it.

What's so hard to understand: Throwing crap at our only chance to stop the repug monopoly on everything Wisconsin isn't a smart person's strategy?

  3. How did that "dumpster-o-fun" turn out fer ya anyhow? --- was a dumpster of stuff brought in as states evidence? if the answer is yes, then yes you came here for actual truth.

The time to push back against dems is when they actually are relevant in the state again. ---- because they have done such a good job already they need to be left alone to continue to finish their work?

    1. There is no evidence that has been helpful from capper's misleading john doe coverage -- especially the dumpster-o-fun.

simpson -- you are not only a whiner, but now clearly are a liar -- but as long as you can thump your chest, you will gladly throw DPW and Burke under the bus.

    2. The DPW that ran Barrett againstWalker in the recall? Throw 'em under a Sherman tank, please.

  4. So now it's "joe progressive"?

You write in the same way each time, and you say the same things. I do not know anyone among my friends in the Democratic Party that express what you come up with. It's obvious you're not a Democrat.

For Democrats, being informed on John Doe is important, it is not the sole focus of the campaign, and we think informing voters about all the other Republican failures are also important, as well as being informed on what the we intend to do to remedy these problems.

Don't pretend to speak for Democrats, when you clearly don't.

    1. No kidding. Obvious troll, because a DPW official would at least try to explain themselves on the Tate strategy.

The maturity of a teenager is also a good clue. Heck, maybe it's whiny, crooked Kelly herself!

    2. you are such a pompus know-it-all. the dpw can speak for itself and it doesn't help to have capper and simpson talking trash that only proves they know not what they blog about.

      brett hulsey?!?!?!

Bwah ha ha ha ha ha

The dems wouldn't let anyone run?

Bwah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Your hero barca (too chicken to run) stated that hulsey was going to leave the caucus -- he's your guy?!?

jake -- the inconsistencies and mindless bloviating & self promotion you post on a little circle-jerk of blogs is what makes this thread childish.

And whiny -- booo hoooo! I posted on my blog and someone called me out for being a whiner!

    3. Yes, the DPW has won quite a few important elections as of late...

I remember when I voted for the Unsafe At Any Speed guy simply because Al Gore and the DNC colluded with the RNC to keep him out of the presidential debate in 2000. I think Hulsey is a nutter but he should not be impeded by his own party if he chooses to run for any office. lets face it, in more cases than not Democrats R Republicans...case in point: that sack of rotting shit that is Ron Kind.

  5. If the ad is bothering Walker, then it's time to double down on it. Hit him outside his comfort zone.

There is an old story from Texas about a politician who accused his opponent of having had sex with a pig. His campaign manager complained that he shouldn't say fthat because it wasn't true. The politician replied "I know it's not true, I just want to see my opponent deny having sex with a pig."

In this case, the ad is true and Walker is bitching. He doesn't look so unintimidated now does he. You can't whine and be a tough guy at the same time. Turn up the volume.

    1. I agree with turning up the heat, but not just on John Doe. Hit him on budget deficits (they're back and growing), brutal job creation stats, and cronyism (let's reintroduce WEDC to casual people, shall we?)

But if the GOPs are squealing, it's hitting the mark.

    2. bwah ha ha ha -- that's exactly what joe progressive said

bwah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Your little blog circle-jerk is just too funny.

And capper and simpson are the biggest whiners on this board.

    3. The ad is clearly misleading in its editing -- and the original footage, does demonstrate this.

The way to beat a pants-on-fire liar is not to be a bigger pants-on-fire liar.

If the probe leads to indictments, that will be real news across the state. To make this the center of a campaign (like simpson and capper foolishly whine about) and then to misleadingly edit video will not win this fight.

  6. The John Doe is NOT over, it's on appeal.

The person that has been working these boards, trying to get Democrats to fight each other over issues in the Democratic Party, does not understand the Democratic Party...we all have issues we get behind and fight for in our own ways. We listen to each other and agree and sometimes not, but in time of election...WE WILL STAND TOGETHER AND VOTE, and it looks like we are taking some Tea Partiers with us.

Scott Walker better be afraid of loosing his Governorship, THE VOTERS ARE COMING!

    ReplyDelete
  7. FWIW, I agree with Mike Tate. Focus your energy and dollars on Walker's failure to live up to jobs promise. Walker is a Repub. He will eventually back himself into a corner on the probe. He did just win the latest round with the "not focused on Walker" meme. This issue is just working it's way through. The jobs failure presents a bigger target at present. The Doe probe will make it's own headlines, so I agree with Tate, focus on jobs.

    1. capper and simpson are stoooopid to think we have the upper hand with the john doe given the highly partisan environment and the fact that our legal system just doesn't work for the rest of us.

Only a fool would proclaim they know we will see justice -- if the feds are not involved, and outside of the initial raid conducted by the FBI a few years ago now, there is no reason to believe they will ride in on a white horse.

If this is all handled at a county or state level, walker has a get-out-of-jail-free card in psycho-judge david prosser and the dysfuctional koch state supreme court.
