Walker: "I’m the one they fear most."

Scott Walker had said that he was going to go even bigger and bolder in an effort to stop his death spiral in the polls. I doubt that anyone imagine that the things that were going to get bigger and bolder were his delusions of grandeur:
At his stop in Maquoketa [Iowa], Walker offered some praise for his Republican opponents, calling the GOP field of candidates “probably the best since 1980.” Ultimately, however, Walker slammed all of them for not demonstrating an ability to deliver upon the promises frequently made by conservative candidates.

Citing recent attacks from Secretary Clinton and President Obama, Walker asserted, “Out of all the Republicans out there, I’m the one they fear most. Because I don’t just win elections — although we won three in four years in a blue state, that’s pretty good — it’s because we don’t back down. We get things done.”
Considering that Walker has dropped from first to tenth in the polls, I would dare say that Walker might be one of the people that the Democrats would most want to face in a general election. Now, if Walker was referring to Republicans when he said "they," well, that would make perfect sense. Even his staunchest supporters in Wisconsin have begun to write him off as a presidential candidate.

The gentle reader should also keep in mind that Walker's steep drop in the polls is with likely Republican voters. His drop among independent voters has been even more severe.

But Walker's delusions didn't stop there. He again tried to present himself as the second coming of St. Ronnie:
When asked a question in Grand Mound about reining in military spending, Walker responded negatively.

“No, actually I would increase it,” he explained to a firm applause. Pointing to President Ronald Reagan’s military buildup as a model for his own visions, Walker stated, “I believe in peace through strength.”
Well, there goes his pseudo-credentials as a fiscal conservative. Military spending is by far the largest part of the federal budget, yet he wants to spend even more.

The United States already has the largest military in the world. How much more does he need, unless he is planning on using the military to quell any public unrest by the American people.

And don't think that this would be an exaggeration. He threatened to call out the National Guard against the protesters four years ago. And Walker actually did call out the national guard last year to deal with the peaceful protesters of the #BlackLivesMatter movement.
