GMC actually had started talking about this in 2007 or 2008 and had hired the Public Policy Forum, the corporate version of MacIver Institute, to come out with this recommendation before ALEC came out with there plan: http://publicpolicyforum.org/research/should-it-stay-or-should-it-go

It wasn't the Koch machine that pushed this, but rather GMC in collaboration with the Bradley Foundation. Remember that Michael Grebe, the head of the Bradley Foundation and Scott Walker's repeated campaign chairman, is also on the board of the GMC.

Foley and Lardner work for whomever pays them, in this case GMC and the Bradley Foundation.

That is why you are now seeing them set their sights on Milwaukee Public Schools, to advance the Bradley Foundation's push for privatization of our education system.capperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16490172369913699310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5888314760091661875.post-26129520747016323932014-05-27T22:08:57.014-05:002014-05-27T22:08:57.014-05:00Abele's agenda is targeting the Behavior Healt...Abele's agenda is targeting the Behavior Health Complex for reforms that would seem to be part of the GMC's Make It Your Milwaukee Initiative, introduced in Feb. 2011. Abele's actions with the County Board also came from this. I know you've been covering Abele, and a blog called Badger Democracy has done a lot of research into the Initiative. State government is also involved, which explains why Abele has been connecting with Tea Party people. Many of the names you mention come up within this research. A good place to begin:
http://bdgrdemocracy.wordpress.com/2011/05/31/rep-vos-e-mail-reveals-koch-industry-lobbyists-authored-policy-pushing-milwaukee-initiative-now-to-be-implemented-statewide/
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
