Three years ago today, Jay Bullock made the fateful decision to give me the keys to his blog. A few months later, an anonymous blogger going by the name of "Template" gave me the reins of Whallah!
Two years ago today, I started up Cog Dis.
It has been a long and winding cyber-road which led me to today.
When I look back at some of my earliest posts, I just cringe at the roughness and obvious new-to-blogging quality of my posts. Of course, there are times where I look at my more recent posts and still cringe.
Over the past three years, I have made a number of friends on both sides of the political aisle, some very close. And I cherish each one of them, and thank them for the support, the tips, the advice and the kindness they have shown me. When I think about it, I find it very humbling but at the same time, very uplifting.
The number of readers and subscribers to Cog Dis has grown exponentially since I first started. But I recognize the fact that after the fall elections, I will be probably back to the 4.3 faithful readers that have stuck with me since the beginning.
But whether you're a faithful friend or an occasional visitor, thank you for sharing this journey with me.

Congratulations Chris!
ReplyDeleteYou're doing a heck of a job.
Congrats. I started my blog a year after yours, and yet I outrank you on Google. Just saying . . .
ReplyDeleteQuite honestly, you're doing what the MSM should be doing. I believe you're a great, prolific writer and I hope you continue on doing what you're doing - even in the face of unbelievable pressure from Team Walker and their allies.
ReplyDeleteHappy day, Ahab.
ReplyDelete@Zach, Thanks!
ReplyDelete@Aaron, you only have the one. I have four or five that I divide my attention to. Plus all but one of them are the freebie ones that naturally don't score as high. I have been thinking about taking Cog Dis and putting it into its own domain, which will make a lot of difference.
@Anonymous, Thanks for the kind words.
@Jason, Thank you, Ishmael.
Chris,
ReplyDeleteYou should have done that a long time ago. Look at what Widgerson did.
Congrats, Capps..
