The number of first-time claims for unemployment benefits in the state rose last week to 10,997, up from 9,733 in the prior week, according to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development.Kind of ironic, considering that just a day or two after these numbers came out, Walker went on national radio to say how he's getting people off of the government dole, when he's really adding them.
I just wonder where the press was on this, since they didn't bother to fact check it even once.
