I attended a Lutheran grade school and high school and can tell you that the kids that attended the schools weren't "well-to-do". In many cases, these are parents struggling to provide their children with an education that is based on faith. Its interesting that a group of people screaming for tolerance can't see this.

By the way...maybe the next time you want to interrupt a group of special olympics kids....you should think twice.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5888314760091661875.post-47710154621452217842012-03-19T15:29:06.145-05:002012-03-19T15:29:06.145-05:00What are you trying to say here? What are you trying to say here?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5888314760091661875.post-81694405831733307722012-03-19T07:28:54.307-05:002012-03-19T07:28:54.307-05:00Eau Claire REGIS recruits.

One player at that level will win you a state championship. The reason why many of the laws don't require that schools that receive voucher money also perform the same tests as everyone else is, you guessed it, because they perform substantially worse than everyone else. Private christian (non-catholic) schools are the worst performers on any of the tests, including much worse than public schools. Catholic schools have always had a high standard for education, while protestant schools have not. Any wonder that of our 9 Supreme Court justices, six are Catholic and three are jewish. None are protestant. It's sketchy that a school like Sheb. Lutheran is in the same level as some small-town school with 140 students, because they're recruiting from a much wider base of potential players than Drummond, Wis (anothr D.5 state participant who got blown out by a Racine private school).

But it is funny that Sheb. Lutheran is alllowed in the state tourney like the public schools, and get public taxpayer dollars like public schools, but Sen. Leibham and most other GOPs don't want Sheb. Lutheran to deal with the same accountability measures as the public schools. Interesting double-standard, isn't it? Makes you wonder what those kids are being taught at Sheb. Lutheran, because I bet a lot of them won't be supporting Walker once they get out in the big world after HS and see what he's done to tuition and job opportunities.Jake formerly of the LPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15660401299391001751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5888314760091661875.post-54846858784444152202012-03-18T17:01:00.071-05:002012-03-18T17:01:00.071-05:00The State Capitol belongs to everyone? By the way, there's 140 kids in that school, and I'm guessing Walker might not be as supported at the two much larger Sheboygan public schools.
