It should come as no surprise that these buildings are neglected. After all its Scott Walker's business cronies at Wisconsin Lutheran College that are waiting in the wings for these assets to be demolished so they can move in and try to pick up the land on the cheap with all remedial costs being borne by you guessed it, us the tax payers. Why fix something that your campaign contributing allies want to ursurp from the public for there own personal gain.
Who can do something about this - put it in a trust never available to private interests. Cant the sustainable farm community and the whole food markets in town be organized to demand a commission to develop ways in which this becomes a public resource?
This shocked me - what a waste.
