Tom Tiffany campaign blocks Journal Sentinel reporters from event
A staffer from Tom Tiffany's campaign barred Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporters from attending a campaign event, only days after the Republican candidate for governor assured reporters would all be allowed to cover his campaign.
The reporters were denied entry at a Sept. 24 event in Milwaukee's Third Ward business district, where Tiffany held a veterans roundtable discussion. Staffer Eric Brooks told reporters they were barred entry due to the belief the Journal Sentinel has covered the campaign unfairly.
