Tea Party Asininity

Recently Secretary of State Hilary Clinton fell and received a concussion thus making it impossible for her to testify on the Benghazi mess.

This made the loons on the right go crazy....and everyone became doctors!

This from one and done loser Allen West and crazy John Bolton:
“I’m not a doctor, but it seems as though – that the Secretary of State has come down with a case of Benghazi flu,” West said on Fox News on Thursday morning. Rep. West, a Tea Party favorite, was defeated in his bid for re-election by Democrat Patrick Murphy last month.
West's comment followed a similar remark by John Bolton, the former United Nations ambassador under George W. Bush, who called Clinton’s concussion a “diplomatic illness” during an earlier Fox News interview.
The imbeciles on Fox and Friends:
DOOCY: If she runs for President in four years, this is not helpful to her, the fact that there were these systemic failure and management failures. Where the people in the field are asking for help and they’re saying ‘Sorry, we don’t have enough money.’ That’s not acceptable.
KILMEADE: You’re saying in four years she should recover from the concussion. That should be a long enough period –
DOOCY: That we didn’t know about until it was time to go to Capital Hill. [CROSSTALK]
KILMEADE: That’s a long enough period of time, after having a concussion, to remember everything.
Well as it turns out, the crazies on the right are once again dead wrong(who knew) and Secretary Clinton has serious medical trauma which includes a blood clot.

It turns out Hilary Clinton did not have "Benghazi flu" after all but we now know that the loons on the right are inflicted with "Tea Party Asininity"!   Not sure if there is a cure for that but they seriously need to be quarantined from having contact with anyone else, ever again!!

Have I ever mentioned that I see many similarities between the "tea party" republicans and this other group that is making headlines in the US?

Tea Party - As Seen On TV

There is a whole line of products, that are lablled "As seen on TV".  After a quick couple minute television commercial showing the many benefits of it, along with some oohs and aahs from the TV audience, people are mesmeorized into pulling out their credit cards and placing their order(call right now and we will throw in....)

The problem is when the product finally arrives, you realize you just bought a boxful of crap and wished you had that $19.99 back!   Which brings me to the tea party!

During the 2010 elections, a few billionaires got together and came up with a grand scheme,(Ron Popeil would be proud) to sell the American electorate a box full of crap and instead of labeling it "as seen on tv" they incredibly mislabeled it "the tea party".

Well America has had two years to try out the product and has become very disgusted when we saw what we bought.   From the incredible insanity of dead beat dad Joe Walsh who has his own greatest hits,

to Wisconsin's own junior Senato, Gold digger Ron Johnson, who has been such an embarrassment to Wisconsin that he has his own website chronicling his gaffe's.  Allen West and his crazy express and there is not enough time or space to print the lies of tea party queen Michelle Bachmann! Let's also not leave Sean "I cant make it on $174/k yr" Duffy, whose one claim to fame is being a drunk stripper on Mtv's "Real World".

Now we can add another name to the list:   Rep. Scott DesJarlais (R-TN)!

-- A pro-life, family-values congressman who worked as a doctor before winning election as a Tea Party-backed Republican had an affair with a patient and later pressured her to get an abortion, according to a phone call transcript obtained by The Huffington Post.

The congressman, Rep. Scott DesJarlais of Tennessee, was trying to save his marriage at the time, according to his remarks on the call, made in September of 2000. And, according to three independent sources familiar with the call and the recording, he made the tape himself.
As Capper says: but wait there's more(emphasis mine):

DesJarlais' campaign vigorously denied those charges in his 2010 race against Democratic Rep. Lincoln Davis, saying they were hauled out of history for political purposes and had not been deemed credible at the time.

But the new transcript and other revelations from court documents paint a more damning picture of a man who was a serial philanderer willing to push one of his lovers -- whom he met as a patient with a foot problem -- to terminate a pregnancy, even when he suspected he was the father.

"You told me you'd have an abortion, and now we're getting too far along without one," DesJarlais tells the woman at one point in the call while negotiating with her over whether he'll reveal her identity to his wife. They then discuss whether he will accompany her to a procedure to end the sort of life the congressman now describes as "sacred."

"You told me you would have time to go with me and everything," the woman complains.

"I said, if I could, I would, didn't I? And I will try," DesJarlais says. "If I can [find] time, you're saying you still will?"

"Yeah," the woman answers.

The two bicker over when they can meet to hash out a solution, and they make clear the nature of their relationship when DesJarlais says delaying a resolution isn't fair to his wife.

"This is not fair to me. I don't want you in my life," the woman says.

"Well, I didn't want to be in your life either, but you lied to me about something that caused us to be in this situation, and that's not my fault, that's yours," the doctor responds.

"Well, it's [your] fault for sleeping with your patient," the woman fires back.

After arguing for a bit about who came on to whom -- with the woman seeming incredulous at DesJarlais' interpretation that she made the first move -- he gets back to the abortion.

"If we need to go to Atlanta, or whatever, to get this solved and get it over with so we can get on with our lives, then let's do it," DesJarlais says.

“Well, we’ve got to do something soon. And you’ve even got to admit that because the clock is ticking right?” he says at another point.

This story perfectly sums up what we bought when we bought into the tea party appeal of two years ago,  pure hypocrisy, lies, do as I say not as I do, no morals, no ethics, its the woman's fault, no family values, etc...

One last thought on the good tea party republican doctor:

He talks repeatedly of getting the problem "solved" or "fixed" and eventually explains he's desperate to patch things up with his wife, who had filed for divorce two years before, in late 1998, alleging improper marital conduct. She had relented, however, and according to court documents, they were trying to reconcile.

The marriage appeared to fall apart for good at about the time DesJarlais made his recorded phone call, and he eventually admitted in court papers to at least four affairs. Court records indicate that at one point in the marriage, they had a "written agreement to date other people."

For the sake of our country, the tea party can not disappear into the annals of history fast enough!

I wonder if Mitt Romney personally profited from the abortion that republican tea party DesJarlais paid for?

More Bachmann Follies

I have long held the belief that the current republican party is flat out insane. One of the best and most telling examples is Michelle Bachmann!

While she has been crazy, hateful and divisive, that is what the republican party is looking for these days. They have rewarded her hatred by making her THE fundraising leader in the national republican party(tripling what paul ryan has raised).

Michelle Bachmann is at it again!   She visited a Synagogue in Chicago and cleared the place! The outspoken lover of all things Israel, turns out that all things Israel are not in love with Bachmann.

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) swung by a Chicago-area synagogue for a worship service on the eve of Yom Kippur last week, upsetting congregants and provoking one man to mount a campaign for her Democratic challenger before the end of the night.

The Chicago Tribune reports that Rabbi Michael Siegel of Anshe Emet Synagogue observed protocol by offering a customary greeting to Bachmann during the services. While elected officials are traditionally acknowledged during such events at the temple, the presence of the conservative Minnesota firebrand prompted particular displeasure.

Some reportedly walked out of the ceremony, while Gary Sircus, a 25-year member of Anshe Emet Synagogue, voiced more active opposition to Bachmann's attendance.

"The holiness of the room and the holiness of the evening was greatly diminished for me, if not completely destroyed," said Sircus, according to the Tribune. "Our congregation values and embodies tolerance, compassion, respect for individual rights, intelligence, science -- all of the things that I think Michele Bachmann stands against."

Bachmann has been an outspoken supporter of Israel and an unabashed opponent of gay rights, an awkward policy duo on that particular night; Siegel told the Tribune that the night's service had included a piece honoring Israel for its openness to the LGBT community.

Hours after storming out of the service, Sircus donated to Jim Graves, Bachmann's Democratic opponent in Minnesota's 6th Congressional District, and included a note.

"I felt that the best way to 'honor' Ms. Bachmann's visit was to make a contribution to your campaign," he wrote to Graves. "Even though I do not vote in Minnesota, please do everything in your power to take away this evil woman's soapbox."

We have a real chance this election, to end the reign of some of the most extreme players in Congress, which will go a long way to fixing our national problems.

Michelle Bachmann would be a good start and her opponent, Jim Graves, is now within the margin of error.

Allen West is losing to Patrick Murphy.

Pat Kreitlow is running neck and neck with reality tv cartoon character Sean Duffy

American Hero, Tammy Duckworth leads tea party hero and deadbeat dad Joe Walsh.

Finally, Small businessman Rob Zerban is running even with Wall St's golden boy and Ayn rand disciple Paul Ryan( who is so scared of losing his congressional seat he is pumping millions into ads).

Culling these five extremists from our Government alone, will make the US a better place on November 7th!

Quote of the Day - The World is Watching

Australia's deputy prime minister Wayne Swan:
"Let's be blunt and acknowledge the biggest threat to the world's biggest economy are the cranks and crazies that have taken over a part of the Republican Party," Swan said.

Republican Voters - Do What You Are Told!

Mitt Romney is and you should also!    The republican party had a weekend retreat in Utah where they got their biggest donors together with potential VP picks.

Here is a picture of Mitt being shuttled in to the weekend meetings as a prop:

The purpose of the meeting was for the multi-billionaires and "bundlers" to decide who they wanted Mit to pick as his Vice Presidential running mate.

The three-day retreat in Park City - a town that boasts top-notch ski slopes and plays host to the Sundance Film Festival each year - brought together a crowd estimated at more than 700 people for socializing, issue panels and a campaign briefing by top Romney aides.

David Reinke, a donor from western Colorado, described the retreat as "quite comfortable and invigorating."
"I've found everybody to be quite approachable in and in quite high spirits," he said. A number of donors echoed the excitement and confidence among campaign staff and contributors that the election was going well.

Donors paid for their own flights to the area as well as their hotels, said Larry Conti, the guest of a top Romney contributor who asked not to be named.

After policy meetings and a reception at the nearby Utah Olympic Park on Friday, participants rose early Saturday morning for a speech by Arizona Sen. John McCain, who ran for president in 2008; a panel on "Innovation in America" featuring Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Hewlett Packard CEO Meg Whitman, Sen. John Thune, Rep. Paul Ryan and Home Depot founder and financier Ken Langone; a "media insight" discussion that included operatives Karl Rove and Mary Matalin; and a campaign briefing with Romney's top aides. On Sunday, the group is scheduled for a golf outing in nearby Heber City.

A weekend retreat in private, with a bunch of multi billionaires telling the elected republican officials exactly where what and how they will be running the presidential election and what the policies they must push are.  Sounds like a typical weekend for Paul Ryan (R- Wall St.).   Janesville and the first district of Wisconsin,  has never held paul's weekend interest, unless it is to march in a parade pretending he cares yet showing contempt to any who would talk to him

Do not pretend, that you(if your donations are under $500,000) that you have ever had any hand in policy making for the republican party. For that matter neither does Mitt.  he has so desperately wanted to be president for so long, and they sure tried to run someone else but could not find anyone who was not insane, to beat him.

Secondly, notice who was missing from the VP cattle call weekend.   Guys like Marco Rubio, Allen West, Michelle Bachman, etc... In a blatant diss of the far right "tea party" they did not invite any of the far right, ethically challenged loons, the master of the republican arty did not want these crazy bundlers and inherited billionaires to " fall in love" with one of the crazies and paint themselves into a corner.   They figured it is better to give them a list of people they can choose from instead of running a crazy like Sarah Palin that scares the voters of this country!

Stay tuned more fun to follow and let us hope they pick Paul Ryan!
