Bizarro World - Part 3("Reality" Stars)!

By Jeff Simpson

In what has unfortunately been a continuing series of strange, end of times ridiculous actions done by , the hits keep on coming.
our politicians

First off, the lumberjack reality star from Northern Wisconsin has found out something that no one else knows in the country.   Hillary Clinton's top aide, Huma Abedin, is part of an organization called the Muslim Brotherhood.

Maybe we should listen to Mr. Duffy though, because if he was able to find a mail order college like he did to "earn" his law degree(the college of which is no longer in business), then maybe he does have some super sleuth abilities that compare to his ability to have kids.   No one should question that the Wausau area is the hotbed of terrorism intel, so when Mr Duffy speaks we should laugh, I mean listen.

Secondly, another of Wisconsin's own, recently got into a battle with Governor John Kasich.

In this corner is the current Governor of Ohio, failed GOP Presidential candidate who is known for blaming all of the problems in public education today on the teachers lounge(seriously)!  Standing at 5'9", weighing 175 lbs.....JOOOOOHNNNN   KAAAAAASSSSICCCCHHHHHH:

Kasich, the Ohio governor, has refused to endorse Trump, the Republican nominee, after bowing out of the presidential race in early May.
"Thankfully, there are still leaders in this country who put principles before politics," Weaver wrote. "Throughout his life, Governor John Kasich has always made decisions based on what is best for our country. The idea of a greater purpose beyond oneself may be alien to political party bosses like Reince Priebus, but it is at the center of everything Governor Kasich does."
"He will not be bullied by a Kenosha political operative that is unable to stand up for core principles or beliefs," he continued, naming Priebus' hometown in Wisconsin. "In fact, Reince should be thanking the governor for standing for an inclusive, conservative vision that can actually win a national election and improve our country."
Weaver added that Kasich is "traveling the nation" to support down-ballot Republicans who could be the victim of a "potential national wipeout" that he said would occur "on Reince's watch."
In the bright bright red corner, standing 5'4" and weighing in at at 145#'s, the Voter cager from Kenosha, the political operative from Pleasant Prairie, the race baiter from Randal, the guy who refuses to walk his own dog(honestly), REEEEEEEIINNCE PRRRRRIIIIIEEEEEBUSSSSSSSSSS:

During a Sunday interview CBS's "Face the Nation," Priebus said Trump's former primary challengers might face trouble in 2020 or 2024 if they did not announce their support for Trump.
"Those people need to get on board," he said. "And if they're thinking they're going to run again someday, I think that we're going to evaluate the process — of the nomination process — and I don't think it's going to be that easy for them."
Kasich, along with Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, has prominently refused to endorse Trump since he wrapped up the party's nomination in May. Priebus said the party would "look at" potential penalties for those who have not endorsed Trump and are considering a future presidential bid. Every GOP presidential hopeful signed a loyalty pledge last summer stating they would support the eventual nominee no matter who it was.
"People in our party are talking about what we're going to do about this. I mean, there's a ballot access issue in South Carolina," Priebus said. "In order to be on the ballot in South Carolina, you actually have to pledge your support to the nominee, no matter who that person is. So what's the penalty for that? It's not a threat, but that's just the question that we have a process in place.
If you are keeping score in our  Constitutionally limited representative democratic republic, it looks like we are all losing, but Reince today came down with what just might be the final blow on CNN:

Yes your eyes are not deceiving you.   The head of the Republican Party of the United States, did actually say that the GOP Presidential candidate, one of two people who have a chance to actually become the next President of the United States of America, the most powerful job in the world, is prepared because he has been through 14 seasons as a TV "reality star".

Head meet desk!

The GOPs Hidden Talents!!!

By Jeff Simpson

We know that the Republicans who are desperate to win the Presidency are debating pretty much weekly.   What we did not know though, is how talented they are!

In case you forgot, Marco Rubio can drink water and the dummy keeps talking.   Amazing!!

We found out even more tonight.  We know that Ted Cruz has a stomach of steel and can eat any color booger on his lip_ even white!!

via GIPHY

Finally GOP front runner Donald Trump is apparently a well endowed mutant(according to him)!

I guess that explains why he can keep trading in his younger wife for an even younger version.  Here is a picture of the Donald's current wife Melania!

Then, last and certainly least, John Kasich who after exhaustive research has no special abilities that sets himself apart but does like riding shotgun and breathing fresh air!!

Scott Walker Leaves His Political Bubble And Gets Popped

For most of Scott Walker's career, he has lived in a protective political bubble.

Even though he's been in campaign mode for almost the entire span of his political career (which as been all of his entire adult life - and I do used the term 'adult' very loosely), Walker has seldom hit any bumps. The only real time that he had problems was in 1990 when now US Congresswoman Gwen Moore routed him in a race for the state legislature.

And why should he have had many problems?

He has had a lot of support - to the point of collaboration - from the dark money special interest groups, and from his friends like Reince Priebus.

Just as important as the flood of dark money and collaborated campaigns is the fact that he's had the corporate media in his back pocket. The corporate media, especially in Milwaukee, would seldom accurately report the news, especially if it was bad for Walker. They would gloss over the bad news, minimizing its impact, if they reported it at all. They would also bend the truth to make any good news seem better than it really was.

But now that Walker has the White House in his aim, he is forced to leave this protective political bubble and he's finding that it's a cruel world out there.

First, Walker got a history lesson from a fellow Republican, Ohio Governor John Kasich.
During the 1995-96 budget dispute between Clinton and the Republican-controlled Congress, Walker said, “Clinton did not say the Republicans in Congress aren’t going to work with me so I’m going to do an executive order.”

“He sat down with them,” Walker said.

Kasich, who like Walker just won re-election to a second term in a Rust Belt, labor-dominated state, snapped almost matter-of-factly.

“No, he shut the government — the government got shut down first,” Kasich said.

The audience laughed. And then the two men, both of them likely to run for president in 2016, began to talk over each other as NBC’s "Meet the Press" moderator Chuck Todd stroked his red goatee in delight.

“There was tremendous animosity,” Kasich said, almost yelling, to remind the younger Walker that he, Kasich, had been there himself as a member of Congress.

“It wasn’t —” Walker tried to get out before Kasich cut him off.

“Scott, it was!” Kasich said. “I’ll tell you, when you’re sitting around and we’ve got Newt Gingrich and Bob Dole at each other over a shutdown, it wasn’t easy either.”
Then on November 9, 2014, fresh from his reelection, Walker appeared on Meet the Press in which he got slapped around again by host Chuck Todd.

Todd accurately showed that Wisconsin's job numbers and wages are lagging behind that of the national averages even though Walker tried to spin it until everyone's head was spinning.

Ironically, but not surprisingly, the Wisconsin corporate media giant Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, in their version of PolitiFact, also tried to spin things in Walker's favor even as they admitted that Todd was correct:
The quarterly time frames don’t match up precisely with Walker’s time in office because, as we noted, there is a lag of several months in reporting the figures. But when compared March 2011 to March 2014, and December 2010 to December 2013, the results were essentially the same: Wisconsin has lagged the national average on job growth, but was slightly higher on wage growth.
Some people never learn.
