The New Aryan Movement

By Jeff Simpson

What is Racism?

Racism is an ugly word that has been around as long as humankind itself. Racism actually can be broken down into two distinct definitions: on the one hand it simply means that groups of people are defined by their inherent differences (skin color, culture, appearance) and that, because of these differences, one group is seen to be better than the other. The second definition of racism is the unfair treatment of others based solely on these differences. Throughout history, humankind has treated others with contempt and committed atrocities upon them just because of the color of their skin or the culture from which they come.

In the year 2015 the Supreme Court of the United States finally made gay marriage legal.   Just as it seemed that we were advancing beyond the 1950's as a society.
Then Donald Trump appeared, and started "telling it ike it is" and  things started getting seriously out of control.
“I will build a great wall – and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me – and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great, great wall on our southern border, and I will make Mexico pay for that wall. Mark my words.”  Donald Trump
The Republicans at first thought it was fun at furst,  His outrageousness and the things he was saying, was what they were thinking but being career politicians have learned to use a filter.  Every political observer figured the the Donald would be bored after a few weeks on the campaign and head back home and start looking for wife number four.

Then something crazy started to happen.  It seemd like the crazier he talked the more he was rising in the polls of the Republican primary.   The Republican base had been sick of a couple things and it seemed like Mr. Trump was speaking right to them.

The R base was upset from feeling the pain of Republcian austerity policies that have directly made their lives worse.  The problem though, is the base did not realize that the tough talking elected Republicans were not their friends.   The establishment though has been playing this game for a long time and they knew that they need to keep the chickens happy if they want to keep guarding the hen house.  This is when Richard Nixon and the R insiders, came up with the Southern Strategy to win the south.

Since then they have used the politcs of resentment and division successfully over and over.   Until this election cycle.   Donald Trump came on the scene, and the racism has been ratched up to 11.

This is NOT an isolated incident.

African Americans are not allowed in Trump rally's.  Trumps supporters hear this:

Then do this:

Image result for racism

Now that they made it ok to do this at his rally's it is starting to trickle down!  It allows thugs and racists like Colin "14/88" Flaherty to be empowered    If you have not heard of Flaherty count yourself lucky.

He is one of the people that made up the story of the Knockout game to help make white America afraid of our African American brothers and sisters.  He also wrote a book telling anyone who was foolish enough to read it that if you see a black male around.....be very afraid because he is coming to get you

The book however must be good because Alex Jones loves it!

Alex Jones: “Brilliant. Could not put it down.”

But wait there is more!  The thrum of racism is getting so loud that people have to go extreme if they want to be heard.   Flaherty is now attacking Professor Goldrick Rab.  Professor Goldrick-Rab made the mistake of criticizing the attacks on piblic education in Wisconsin by Scott Walker.  The loss of tenure topped with everything else that has happened in WI and Ms. Goldrick-Rab was poached out of  UW-Madison by Temple University!

Flaherty is now taking his shot at her to punish her for speaking up.   He posted this stupid racist disgusting video tonight.

Of course these kind of hate filled, screeds brings out the best of the Republican party! Comments like this from Republicans towards Democrats are commonplace,

He has zero empathy, as your friend says of blacks in general. That is why they are so dangerous to the rest of us. So sick of comunist/marxists professors traitor scum.
Lurch Hightower
+jerry henrie I don't think they fully understand the concept of empathy. They can understand it vaguely as an idea if you explain it but not on a deeper level.
Onward Legions!
+Lurch Hightower They only understand empathy when one of their fellow dindus has been killed by a white person or a cop. When a dindu is killed by a dindu nothing is said by the black community as a whole.

Or this one

Let's hope that this Professor gets a dose of reality.
AKBuilder762
Or HIV from her attacker.

Yes brilliant commentary from some of our more compassionate comservatives.

I really at this point. think that is true! America, this really needs to stop or its going to escalate imto somethimg very very very ugly!

Welcome to Wisconsin (Some Opinions Allowed)!

BY Jeff Simpson

Last week, we brought you the story of how UW-Madison Professor Sara Goldrik-Rab has tweeted a few incoming freshman and asked them to do some research on how Scott Walker's latest budget was impacting their investment in their college education.

The righties were quick to sick the right wing noise machine on Professor Goldrik-Rab for saying things they did not want to hear.

Lost amongst the noise of the faux outrage from the right, was UW Economics Professor Noah Williams, who just happens to be an advisor to the Scott Walker for President campaign, writing an op-ed that was published in Forbes Magazine.   The op-ed tells us all about the amazing Wisconsin economy.

Before Governor Scott Walker took office in January of 2011, Wisconsin was seeing high unemployment, stagnating incomes and a high tax burden. Fast-forward four years: The state enjoys strong growth in employment and improvements in living standards through higher after-tax incomes. Thanks to a fiscal policy of reducing tax and regulatory burdens while balancing the budget, Wisconsin now outperforms many of its neighbors.

Which leads me to one question(No it is not what state is Mr. WIlliams actually describing?) but the questions I have is why is it ok for Mr. WIlliams to write an op-ed and share his flawed opinion when its not ok for Professor Goldrik-Rab to share her opinion? Could it be in Wisconsin that the only opinion your allowed to voice is to sing the praises of our absentee Governor?

UW Professor Naively Harrasses Incoming Republicans

By Jeff Simpson

UW Professor Sara Goldrick-Rab is under fire from local right wing fringe groups for trying to keep her college students informed.  '

Sara Goldrick-Rab is a professor of educational policy studies and sociology with a national profile in both her field of research and the ongoing debate over faculty tenure in Wisconsin public universities. She has openly said she's looking for another job because she believes academic freedom is in jeopardy in Wisconsin.

Goldrick-Rab acknowledges that she searched Twitter for individuals who identified themselves as future Badgers. The prolific Twitter-user says she wanted to inform them of changes to faculty tenure and shared governance that were about to become part of state law — changes she says would hurt the quality of their education, but that the university wasn't telling them about.
Professor Golrick-Rab took to twitter, to have informative discussions with incoming freshman and many were happy to get the personal attention and information.  Unfortunately though for Professor Goldrick-Rab, she also ran up against some incoming right wingers and that is where she made her mistake.

Professor Goldrick-Rab made the mistake in thinking that all 18 year olds would be interested in gathering as much information about the world they are heading into as possible to help form a world view that is bigger than the sheltered one they have been living as high schoolers.

Six days later, Goldrick-Rab reached out to all six students on Twitter: "I hate to bring bad news but," her tweet began. She then linked to an opinion piece published in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel with the headline: "Threats to shared governance and tenure put mission of UW at risk."
Fairly safe there, just some quick info to a group of incoming freshman.  Then after some back and forth banter, Professor Goldrick-Rab crossed the line.

"We don't want students 2 waste their $. It's info that's all," her tweet said. "University is changing as we speak. Maybe look at info?"
In case you missed the one sentence that disgusts and repels hard core WI right wingers than this line: "Maybe look at info?"
Has Ms. Goldrick-Bab not listened to any of the right wing hate talked filled radio shows she would know that Republicans in WI have no interest in looking at info.

They know what they know when they know it.   One of the kids said it best in their incredibly rude response to their Professor:

"No one cares sara," one of the students replied.
When I went to college no one would call Professors by their first name (at least unless we have had numerous classes of theirs), however that was long before this kind of Governance took hold in WI:

The head of the college Republicans at UW-Madison, the aptly named Arthur Birch even went so far to accuse Professor Goldrick-Rab of harrassment:

College Republicans of UW-Madison Chairman Anthony Birch on Wednesday confronted Goldrick-Rab in a news release posted on the group's Facebook page: "Professor Sara Goldrick-Rab: We find the way you have approached the dialogue around the intersection of politics and our university's future disgusting and repulsive."

Goldrick-Rab crossed "all boundaries of professionalism and respect by seeking these recent graduates out on Twitter and proceeding to harass them with articles intended to lobby and persuade them to not attend the University of Wisconsin," the College Republicans statement said.
Professor Goldrick-Rab needs to immediately stop harassing college students with articles and information.

Does she think these kids came to college to be challenged intellectually or something?

One thing we can take from this horrible incident though, is that our children are being indoctrinated in today's society.  I however would much rather they get their information from a degreed and award winning teacher as opposed to a thrice divorced radio talker.
