Three More Reasons On Why We Need Healthcare Reform

  1. 71% go to work sick. Think about that also in relation to the H1N1 Flu scare and the paid sick leave that they are trying to destroy.
  2. More personal income spent on health care. There are cheaper and better ways of doing this.
  3. Insurance Matters Eat Up MD's Time. Imagine how much better care we could get if the doctors weren't always tied up fighting insurance companies on whether they should even get paid.

  1. That 71% who go to work sick has nothing to do with health care. There are tons of people in ever office I've worked in who come in to work when they're sick, and they ALL HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE. Guess what... they all have sick days too.

You mean, have the taxpayer pick up the entire tab?

    Yah. That's cheaper. And better.

And there IS a Santa Claus, an Easter Bunny, and Zombies in the butterfly garden on the County Grounds.

  3. Dad, give us one good reason why the health insurance companies need to be in the heath care equation.

  4. 1. Nick is right. if government health care comes into effect, 71% will still go to work sick. There is no correlation.
    2. Doctor's will still have to do paperwork, whether it is for the government or for insurance companies.
    3. It won't be cheaper, unless the quality of health care goes down. Which one do you want- cheaper health care or less quality in health care? I prefer quality health care, with some minor reforms.
