WISGOP Settles For Fourth String Candidate

This past weekend was the state convention for the Republican Party of Wisconsin.  Among the activities were a lot of drinking and then picking out which candidates they were endorsing. The results were unintentionally and unironically hilarious.

They decided to endorse their fourth-string candidate, Tom Trumpfany Tiffany.  Early in 2025, WISGOP was begging their two favorite carpetbaggers, Eric Hovde and Tim Michels, to return to Wisconsin and run, but neither one wanted to throw away their millions to lose yet another election.  Later in 2025, during their state convention, Josh Schoemann won the straw poll.  However, Schoemann dropped out due to lacking the testicular fortitude to stand up to President Pedo when he endorsed his little bitch Tiffany.

Anyone who has been following Tiffany's social media timelines knows that Tiffany is a racist.  He is constantly harping about immigrants who are alleged to have committed a crime while ignoring the exponentially larger number of white, US-born citizens who have committed the same crimes.

In a twist of irony, WISGOP took that information and chose to endorse Will Martin, a Black man, to be their Lt. Governor candidate.

Oh, wouldn't you love to be a fly in the Tiffany campaign war room for the rest of the summer?  I bet it's a laugh riot.

I Still Have A Question About The White House Correspondents Dinner

Thankfully the alleged gunman never made it past the security officers outside the White House Correspondents Dinner. The Secret Service did their job and took the suspect into custody and no one was hurt.

But here's my question and it bothers me a bit. Most media outlets reported and the prosecutor stated in court during the suspect's initial appearance, that law enforcement fired five shots during the incident. But the suspect didn't suffer any type of gunshot wound. Highly trained and supposedly highly skilled officers who were probably within five or ten or twenty feet of the suspect fired their guns and he wasn't hit?

Thankfully no one else suffered a gun shot wound as a result of police actions but where did those bullets go? Five shots as close range and the suspect wasn't hit? Why isn't anyone asking about the training of the agents on the scene. If they hadn't been able to tackle him quickly, could he have made it into the dinner hall because the officers on duty couldn't shoot straight?

No one thinks this odd?

LinkedIn Thinks The FBI Is Looking For Me!

I got a few of these emails from LinkedIn in early March and then April suggesting that I apply for jobs at the FBI and Secret Service. Then they stopped for a while but got two of these in the last two days. Hmmmm....

Who Are You Going To Believe - Right Wing Pundits Or Your Lying Eyes?

Tom Tiffany shoveling the BS

Last week, Jessie Opoien of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Tom Tiffany's campaign advisors had told him not to underestimate Francesca Hong:
The memo compares Hong to other potential Democratic candidates Tiffany could face in the Nov. 3 general election, viewing her as someone whose nomination "virtually guarantees elevated Democratic enthusiasm and turnout in Dane County and the Milwaukee media market, where statewide races are decided."

In contrast, the memo expects "more moderate and establishment Democratic alternatives would likely produce lower base motivation and depressed turnout."

"Unlike more moderate or establishment Democrats, Hong energizes the progressive base in a way that could drive record Democratic turnout precisely when midterms historically favor the party out of power," the consultants wrote. "Her issues resonate broadly with working- and middle-class voters and have some crossover with our populist positions. Hong could bring some turnout advantages with positions that reach outside Democrats' core base."

All of which jives with what we have seen in Wisconsin and nationally in elections.  There has been a major - as in double digits - shift to the left.  After the SCOWIS election last month, it showed that even the counties that Justice-Elect Chris Taylor lost still shifted to the left.

Nationally, the trend has been the same. Furthermore, often the winner is the person conventional wisdom said was too radical left to win, such as New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

Apparently, some people have missed these facts.

Right-wing hack James Widgerson jumped on the article, mocking it and trying to claim that the memo was a clever ruse by the Tiffany campaign to trick Opoien, her editors, and thousands of readers into voting for Hong.

Bruce Murphy, editor of Urban Milwaukee, doubled down on the dumb:

In short, Opoien and the JS got snookered, no doubt promised exclusive access to this disinformation intended to convince Democratic voters, whose number one concern is choosing a candidate with the best chance of defeating Tiffany, that Hong was the one causing sleepless nights for Republicans. The paper was so proud of its scoop that it did two stories on this, the first suggesting Hong’s campaign was on the rise, with the secret GOP memo as a key exhibit, and the second entitled “What a leaked GOP memo says about the candidacy of Francesca Hong.”

If the memo was a trick from Tiffany's campaign, it backfired badly.

Keep in mind, Tiffany is the GOP's fourth-string candidate. In early 2025, WISGOP was desperately trying to recruit its favorite carpetbaggers, Tim Michels and Eric Hovde, to return to Wisconsin to run.  They were so persistent that Hovde felt it necessary to make a video telling them he wasn't running. Things were too nice in Laguna Beach.

In the 2025 Republican state convention, Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann beat Tiffany in a straw poll.  However, to be fair, Tiffany was still waiting for Fearless Leader Trump to give him permission to run.  Schoemann didn't drop out of the race until Trump endorsed Tiffany.

The fact that Tiffany has squarely hitched his campaign to Trump, and Trump is polling worse than any president in history - See, he's number one at something! - It's no wonder that the Republicans are experiencing a severe enthusiasm gap.

On the other hand, Hong's supporters are not showing any lack of enthusiasm whatsoever. The Tiffany memo - real or fake - is only going to add fuel to Hong's fire, which is something Tiffany doesn't need, but so richly deserves.

Now Trump Has Stolen Joe Biden's Sunglasses In New AI Post

Those were a personal gift to Joe from Obama! And somewhere he found a black suit and a black tie...clothing items he never wears...so AI: WTF?

Captain Bone Spurs posted this AI generated photo this morning on Truth Social.

If only he had been this tough in 1969, there might be a Trump Hotel in Saigon.

Workers Memorial Day

Every April 28th is Workers Memorial Day. It is a day to remember the men and women who lost their lives on the job or due to their job.

Here are some facts to reflect upon today, from the AFL-CIO WI:

In 2024, more than 380 workers died each day from hazardous working conditions – totaling 5,070 workers killed on the job in the United States in 2024. Additionally, an estimated 135,000 workers died from occupational diseases in 2024.

[...]

Nationally, the overall job fatality rate was 3.3 per 100,000 workers in 2024. The job fatality rate in Wisconsin in 2024 was higher, at 3.7 per 100,000 workers. Workplace homicides continue to be a significant problem, increasing by 3 percent since 2023.

Workers of color die on the job at a higher rate: Black (3.4 per 100,000 workers) and Latino (4.3) worker job fatality rates are disproportionate compared with all other workers.

An estimated 530 workers died from heat on the job in 2024, but both fatal and nonfatal data are an undercount of the heat exhaustion on the job in America.

This occasion is part of International Workers Memorial Day, held yearly on April 28th, where tens of thousands of groups around the globe unite to honor the fallen and to remind everyone that “One worker’s life lost is one too many.”

As Mother Jones said - Mourn the dead and fight like hell for the living!

Rep. Derrick Van Orden Is Certainly Self Aware!

From an article about his re-election bid from The Hill:

“I’m just a horrible politician, I guess,” he (Van Orden) added.

In Memoriam Of A Good Union Man

Two weeks ago, Wisconsin lost a good union man, David Eisner.

David had worked for Milwaukee County before moving on to work for AFSCME. David had forgotten more about how the County operated and what was in the county rules and in the contracts than any bureaucrat ever knew.

David was never one to back away from a fight, especially when it involved one of his union members. I was a benefactor of David's knowledge and skill on more than one occcasion, whether it was defending me against Scott Walker's retaliation to getting the county to move on repairing the air conditioning during a dangerous hot spell.

He was the personification of solidarity and union power.

He will be sorely missed by all who knew him, whether through the union or outside of it.

Coincidentally, today is his birthday. Happy heavenly birthday, my friend.

Wisconsin Congressmen Hold 2 Of The Top 8 Positions For Using The "F" Word

 From the NY Times:

In The Times’s social media tally, Mr. Gallego was far ahead of the pack, using the word in at least 77 X posts from 2020 through the end of March 2026.

Representative Mark Pocan of Wisconsin clocked in as the No. 2 Democrat in The Times’s ranking, at 30 uses of the word, to which he replied: “All right!”

Here you have it:

Stolen From Social Media: Hungary Understood The Assignment

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who has inspired populist movements globally, conceded defeat on Sunday in a general election after 16 years on power. Trump sent J.D. Vance to bolster Orban's chances.

Pay attention America, please get your head around the assignment.

The Trump Administration Actually Thought A Peace Agreement Would Happen in ONE DAY?

Apparently. And after that one day meeting without a peace resolution, Vice President J.D. Vance left Pakistan.

And in a bold reversal, Trump now says instead of opening the Strait of Hormuz, he's going to close them (blockade).

Please send him a copy of "How to Win Friends and Influence People" and then find someone to read it to him.

Swalwell Needs To Go

Rep Eric Swalwell (D-CA) has had four women come out and accuse him of sexual harassment and rape.  I'm sure these are just the first four, and more will be stepping forward.

Swalwell, who is running to be the governor of California, is watching his campaign implode before his very eyes. Top staffers are resigning. People who endorsed him are rescinding their endorsements.

Swalwell did himself no favors by issuing a video in which he started by gaslighting the public, claiming that the women were anonymous. Yeah, they were so anonymous that his lawyers were texting cease-and-desist letters to the women in the middle of the night.

Even if he doesn't want to admit it, Swalwell is done. Four things need to happen now:

  1. Swalwell needs to apologize to his victims and to the public. He also needs to set up a trust fund to pay for any therapy his victims might need.
  2. Swalwell needs to drop out of the governor's race.
  3. Swalwell needs to resign from Congress.
  4. Swalwell needs to be criminally investigated and prosecuted.
I must say that it is a relief that many people on the left are treating this appropriately, but I am sorely disappointed in those who are acting like lefty MAGA morons, looking for conspiracy theories or being in downright denial of what has happened.

Tom Tiffany Is Running In The Wrong State

After Tuesday's election, when Justice-elect Chris Taylor and the Democrats shellacked the Republicans, Tom Tiffany made a brief statement about it and what it means for his campaign to be governor:

Well, we got our butts kicked last night, right? There's no doubt about it, and we should acknowledge that. But the election we have coming up this fall, in November, is a new election. And you guys know as well as anyone, every election is unique. And I have built a campaign - money, manpower, and messaging. We're going to compete on all fronts.

While Tiffany is trying to convince himself that the fall election is separate and apart from all other elections, the fact is that one has to look at the trends. And those trends are not in Tiffany's favor.  As this graphic shows, almost the entire state took a hard shift to the left:

While Republican denialists might try to argue that this election was not in some part a refutation of Trump, it obviously was.  And November's election is going to be even more of a referendum on the Orange Menace. And given how far Tiffany has his nose up Trump's rump, I don't see him changing these directions in just a few months.

A breakdown of Taylor's victory on Tuesday by congressional district shows that Tiffany would have been hard-pressed to win reelection in his own district. Keep in mind that the congressional maps are still gerrymandered to favor the Republicans.

Barring some drastic unforeseen changes, this November could be just as much fun as yesterday was. However, it does not mean that we can take our collective foot off the gas by any stretch of the imagination. It's still going to take a lot of hard work to get across the finish line, but it's very doable.

It doesn't hurt that Tiffany is apparently running to be the governor of the state of denial.

Taylor Wins!

In what was an almost foregone conclusion, Judge Chris Taylor was elected as the next Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice.

Her campaign issued this statement:

“Tonight, the people of Wisconsin spoke,” said Justice-elect Chris Taylor. “What they said is clear — we are moving forward, for our rights, for our democracy, for every family in this state that deserves a fair shot at justice. Tonight we stand strongly for a state Supreme Court that prioritizes the people of Wisconsin, their rights, their lives, and the independence of our great state. And for a Court that holds everyone accountable under the law — no matter how powerful or privileged. I will be a justice for you, the people of Wisconsin. Thank you Wisconsin!  Forward we go together!”

This election was as sure a bet as an election can be.  Taylor's popularity caused the incumbent, Becky Bradley, to choose not to run again, leaving the Republicans with a lackluster Maria Lazar to offer a token opposition to Taylor. Adding to this was the fact that the election would not change the court's leanings, which caused a huge enthusiasm gap for the right.

The last remaining hardcore fascist on the court, Annette Ziegler, has already ceded next year's election and announced that she is not running for reelection.

Given that justice will be served for at least the next four years, I gotta say, the future of the state supreme court looks pretty darn good.

No American President Should Ever Talk Like This! Why Is The GOP Silent?

This and his unhinged speech from April 1st should be Trump's 'Joe Biden' moments and Trump should be out of there.

And yes, this is his real post. It has been corroborated any number of times already.

And This Is Different From A Muslim Head Scarf, HOW?

I am not going to dive into the other issues here in this post, particularly voting rights for women,  but you should warn yourself here: The Women Who Believe Women Should Lose the Right to Vote.

But I am very very curious on why what these "Christian" women are doing is different than the headscarves that many Muslim women wear. I mean other than style and color, etc.

"Sundays, most of the women at King’s Way Reformed Church in the old mining town of Prescott, Ariz., wore dainty kerchiefs knotted over their hair to show devotion to God. Marybelle East, 36, wore hers all the time, she said — seven days a week — “for him to see that I submit to his authority.” Her husband’s authority, that is.

Her head scarf is a physical reminder of biblical patriarchy, the kind of marriage the church preaches. “It keeps me from running my mouth,” she said."

Who wants to jump in and explain this to me??

BTW: later in the article it mentions that many of these churches would like the USA to be a theocracy. And again, I will ask, how is this different than say...Iran?

I am going to leave this here for now.

The United States Can Elect A Convicted Felon President but in Canada:

Yes, the United States has elected a convicted felon, unabashed habitual liar, pedophile, financial disaster, scam artist, war criminal, someone with little knowledge of the world, and a limited facility with English to the US Presidency, but everyone seems to be cool with that (sarcasm alert), RIGHT?

But in Canada:

Air Canada’s chief executive, Michael Rousseau, said Monday that he would step down, days after criticism over his condolence message, delivered almost entirely in English, following a fatal accident involving an Air Canada plane at New York’s LaGuardia Airport.

Mr. Rousseau, 68, faced backlash after releasing a video primarily in English and little French, such as “bonjour” and “merci,” which was criticized as dismissive of French-speaking Canadians. Politicians quickly voiced their frustrations, arguing that Mr. Rousseau’s inability to speak French showed a disconnect from a significant portion of the country.

???? Please make sense of this?

Wait And Wait, There's More

As the gentle reader probably already knows, GOP activist and election denier Harry Wait has been convicted of two counts of election fraud and one count of identity theft. Wait had asked for and received eight absentee ballots in the 2022 election, including those for Racine Mayor Cory Mason and soon-to-be former Speaker Robbin' Vos.

Ironically, Wait was part of the group that went after Vos for not doing enough about election fraud, just as Wait had committed.

The convictions in themselves are not a surprise. Wait went on social media bragging about his crimes, falsely claiming that the system doesn't work when it clearly does.

However, there are a couple of parts of the story I would have liked to see some follow-up on.

One was whether Sen. Ron Johnson still thinks that Wait is a "white hat hacker."  My guess is that he would say yes. After all, election fraudsters have to stick together.

The other issue I have is with Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmailing. Wait had notified Schmaling via email of his crimes, but instead of arresting Wait, Schmaling joined in on the bragging:

Schmaling did not arrest Wait and instead publicized the plot on social media as being helpful in rooting out vulnerabilities in the state election system and blamed the Wisconsin Elections Commission, calling on commissioners to remove a way voters can easily request ballots online.

I want to know why Schmaling was not investigated and charged as a party to the crime.  After all, the system will only work if law enforcement enforces the laws, which Schmaling obviously did not.

If You Want Your Kid To Go And Fight In Some Stupid Globalist War, Vote For Joe Biden, said?

JD Vance On War During The 2024 Campaign

"When people like Kamala Harris send our sons and daughters, our young people, to fight in stupid wars, it is the young generation that carries the burden of that. We're gonna stop sending our young people to far away lands. We are not the policemen of the world."

And, now?

The Democratic Party of Wisconsin Isn't Being Helpful Here.

This article has been in been in the back of my mind for weeks, so finally, I am releasing it to the wild.

As all of our readers are sure to know, Governor Tony Evers is not running for re-election. So there is a plethora of Democrats running in the August primary. And initially there were a number of Republicans as well but earlier in 2026 there were only two. They were U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany and Washington County Exec. Josh Schoemann.

And then Donald Trump endorsed Rep. Tiffany and almost immediately Exec. Schoemann dropped out of the race.

When putting together an article on the subject for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reporter Molly Beck apparently contacted the DPW and? : 'A spokeswoman for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin issued a statement on Schoemann's exit that simply said, "Who?"'

Now, any of those you follow me here or followed me in earlier iterations know that I certainly dabble in snark and satire in a grand manner. And I can appreciate this bit of snark from that perspective but given the divide and animosity in contemporary politics, this isn't particularly helpful coming from a spokesperson for a major party.

A better reply might have been? It's too bad that the Republican party isn't willing to provide Republican voters and Republican leaning voters with an opportunity to select their own candidate for Wisconsin governor.

And remember, the Wisconsin primary is August 11 , 2026

Kristi Noem Gets Slap On Wrist, Justice Gets Slapped Down

Image via DonkeyHotey

By now, the whole world is aware of the fact that Kristi Noem, the Puppy Killer, is out as head of the Dept of Homeland Security. The only thing surprising about the whole sordid affair - Noem being fired, not her dalliances with her "top aide", Corey Lewandowski - is that a narcissist like Trump had put up with being embarrassed by her for as long as he had. His dementia must be so bad that he doesn't know what's going on around him.

But there are a few things that need to be kept in mind.

One, Noem's removal as head of DHS was not impulsive.  It was planned out, complete with performative set-ups during this week's hearings, and the time for her proposed successor, Markwayne Moon Mullen, to be ready. Trust me, Mullen is not that bright that he can think on his feet.

Secondly, this move isn't anything more than a slap on the wrist for Noem.  Oh, sure, she has to give up her sex plane, her taxpayer-funded glamor shots, and all of her cosplay costumes. But now she gets to collect a huge salary for doing nothing more than staying out of the way. Good work if you can get it, especially while most of the country is struggling to make ends meet.

Third, justice has not been done. No one has been held accountable for the executions of Renee Good or Alex Pretti.  No, on ehass been held accountable for all the terrorism her goons have caused throughout the nation.  No one has been made to answer for all of the money she has squandered and has lined her pockets with.

Hell, even Cricket, the puppy that Noem killed for no good reason, still gets no justice.  And that's criminal in itself.

Radio Squawker Calls For Assassination of Gov. Tim Walz UPDATED!

Dan O'Donnell, a squawk radio host on WISN-AM, went on Xitter and proved how sociopathic he really is by posting back-to-back tweets. In one tweet, he posted an image of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz dressed like Ayatollah Khomeini. In the other tweet, he called for someone to "take out" Walz:

O'Donnell's posts are exceptionally egregious after the assassination of Minnesota Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, and the shooting of another lawmaker and his wife just last summer.

Last year, O'Donnell made the news by leading the charge to get former Channel 58 meteorologist Sam Kuffel fired because she went on her own private social media page and criticized Elon Musk's Nazi salute. Since Kuffel was fired for criticizing a Nazi salute, calling for the assassination should be a fireable offense and a referral to the authorities for investigation.

Unfortunately, inappropriate behavior is more the norm than the exception at WISN.  In 2024, former WISN squawker Jay Weber disparaged Gus Walz.

Years before that, the station's then star squawker, Mark Belling, would routinely insult women politicians and reporters and use racial slurs.

Both Belling and Weber were suspended, but apparently nothing has changed.  If anything, things have gotten worse.  The station needs to make an example of O'Donnell before things escalate any further.

ADDENDUM: O'Donnell did make a half-ass apology:

O'Donnell still needs to see consequences for his actions, unless, of course, WISN condones that kind of behavior. Then the station also needs to see consequences.

UPDATE: O'Donnell was not on the air Tuesday afternoon. It is not known whether he's been suspended, fired, or couldn't handle the heat for his depravity.

Bye Bye Miss American Pie: WI Assembly Speaker Robin Vos Retires

If you are reading Cog Dis, you are probably well aware that WI Assembly Speaker Robin Vos is retiring at the end of the current Assembly term. Although some Dems have said a few nice things about him, I for one am eager to see him gone. One of the lead henchmen in the Scott Walker cabal he has done very very few things that have been of any good to the state of Wisconsin. For instance cutting shared revenues to schools and local government have financially strangled these fine institutions and put that at risk of failure.

Ironically in part of his farewell statements 'Vos said he's been served well by trying to be a "good listener" and trying to discern "where we can find common ground."' (this excerpt is behind a paywall at jsonline. com, sorry).

Find common ground? Vos has been the most divisive politician in the state in decades. Wasn't he a main driver in the lame duck session between Gov. Evers November election back in the day and his taking office...where the GOP removed any number of important executive branch responsibilities and authorities? Yes, Vos was the guy.

Well...if his reasons for leaving are true, this should be the last time we see Robin Vos in public office and hopefully never ever see him in cabinet level slush fund rewards.

A Picture Is Worth A Thousand Words - The Tom Tiffany Edition

Tom Tiffany and his former primary opponent, Josh Schoemann, decided to take a photo together to show a unified front.  I couldn't imagine a more appropriate picture:

Tiffany is a denizen of the swamp, so it's only appropriate that he is standing in the middle of one.

But Tiffany has a history of taking bad photos.  Like this picture from his campaign. While it's true that Tiffany shovels a lot of bullshit, why would he want it for his campaign?

Personally, I would think he would be embarrassed by a photo showing he doesn't know how to work a shovel, but there goes Tiffany, running with it:

A lot of politicians have become laughing stocks by going to their state's state fair and getting in a less-than-complementary picture. Tiffany is not an exception:

All this shows that Tiffany has very poor judgment in taking these pictures and in thinking anyone would want someone like him making decisions on how to run the state.

Are You Listening Madison? Kentucky Supremes Cut Off Charter Schools!

Wisconsin has been a leader in spending public funding for charter schools and it was been a very very controversial provision in state budgeting. There are often two reasons put forward for the shortfall in public school budgets and the growing reliance in Wisconsin for referendums to increase property tax revenues over the caps. The first is the continued reduction in public support of our schools by the GOP cabal in control of Madison since the Walker regimes...and the second is the claimed draining of student bodies and the resulting state support as charter schools cannibalize public education.

So today, the Kentucky Supreme Court knocked down a law granting public revenues to charter schools.

"The Kentucky Supreme Court struck down a law Thursday that would have allowed public funding to go to charter schools.

Kentucky currently has no charter schools, and the court has determined public funding is only allowed for “common schools” under the state’s constitution.

“Charter schools, by statute, are not regulated by local state authorities in school districts, are not regulated by the rules set out by the state authorities for schools, even if excluded from school districts, and therefore they are not a common school,” the judges found.  "

Wisconsin, are you listening??

Did Donald Trump Order Flags To Half Staff for Jesse Jackson Yet?

I was out of town working on some probate stuff when I was checking the news on my phone and read that Civil Rights Activist Jesse Jackson had died. Given the Rev. Jackson's positive impact on the lives of so many Americans of all races, faiths, and stations in life, it made sense that the sitting US President would declare a national period of mourning and issue an order to lower flags to half staff.

I am not finding any such declaration in the news. Am I missing something??

BTW: Trump ordered flags to half staff for 5 days for Charlie Kirk...hardly the same import to the nation as the Rev. Jackson.

Apparently only the State of Illinois is honoring Rev. Jackson in this manner. What's up with the State of Wisconsin, Milwaukee County, or the City of Milwaukee??

It's Your Turn, America

Early this morning, the news broke that they had arrested former Prince Andrew due to his ties with Jeffrey Epstein.  Other worl leaders and business bigwigs are facing the fallout for being in the Epstein files.

It's beyond time for Pam Bondi to arrest Trump.  And if she refuses, she should face charges as well.  There's more than enough proof.

The Trumpstein Files Implicate Trump

My friend and colleague at Crooks and Liars, Susan Madrack, reports that, despite the Trump regime's best efforts to bury the truth, the Trempstein files are implicating Trump in child rape:

The DOJ included the woman’s allegations in a comprehensive 21-page internal slideshow presentation that also appears in the files.

“[REDACTED] stated Epstein introduced her to Trump who subsequently forced her head down to his exposed penis which she subsequently bit,” the presentation says. “In response, Trump punched her in the head and kicked her out.” The victim would have been “approximately 13-15 years old when this occurred,” according to the presentation. The alleged assault took place in the early-mid 1980s, and the same woman also claimed to be an Epstein victim.

The second Trump claim on the slide — that Epstein introduced a victim to Trump when she was 14 years old, saying, “This is a good one, right?”, to which Trump agreed — is considered highly credible by the DOJ: That claim, about an incident at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in 1994, came from a key government witness whose testimony at trial helped DOJ prosecutors convict Maxwell, the files reveal.

Remember, this is still just the tip of the iceberg.  Trump is mentioned in the files tens of thousands of times, none of them good.

Milwaukee Republican Officer Thinks Children Should Not Be Seen Nor Heard

TMJ4 did a news story about the kids at Franklin High School who were planning on doing a demonstration to protest ICEtapo brutality. Parents were split on whether it was appropriate, apparently forgetting their own childhood protests.

However, Hilario Deleon, who is the chair of the Republican Party of Milwaukee County, thinks that children should not be seen or heard, and they should hold their protest when it's more convenient to ignore:

"It does a disservice not only to them but to the people in the community who are financing the school through taxpayer dollars," said Hilario Deleon, who supports the right to protest but opposes the student walkouts' timing.

Some residents questioned students' motivations, suggesting that many participants might simply want to skip class rather than advocate for their cause.

"Many of the walkouts that happened when I was in school, most kids were just walking out to get out of class," Deleon said.

Critics suggested holding the protest outside school hours to demonstrate a genuine commitment to the cause.

"It will also show and demonstrate who the actual people who believe in the cause are," Deleon said.

Deleon is obviously not a big one for civil rights. He probably thinks that Rosa Parks should have only taken a seat on the bus when it was less crowded. Perhaps he thinks that Dr. Martin Luther King should have walked to Selma later in the day, so as not to inconvenience anyone.  Deleon probably thinks that union workers should only strike after their shift is done.

Maybe Deleon should learn some history before making a fool out of himself again.

RoJo - The New Inspector Clouseau

Ron Johnson isn't worth a damn as a senator, and he's not very effective as a political operative either.  In a feeble effort to keep the Minnesota daycare scandal a thing, RoJo issued a press release to tell everyone that he sent a letter out to show how he's looking very seriously into this very serious matter:

The letter follows recent public reporting on fraud in Minnesota, including a YouTube video by Nick Shirley that highlighted potentially $111 million in improper payments and fraud at child care centers across Minnesota and raised serious questions about whether existing oversight mechanisms at DHS were sufficient to detect and prevent fraud.

“At the very least, routine DHS oversight should have identified obvious program-integrity red flags at child care centers receiving unusually large payments relative to their licensed capacity,” Chairman Johnson wrote.

In the letter, the chairman enclosed a list of over 70 examples of child care businesses in Minnesota that received over $1 million in annual payments from the state in 2024. He demanded audit and inspection records connected to those entities.

“Given the pervasiveness of fraud in your state, it is past time for Minnesota to answer for its apparent failure to safeguard taxpayer dollars,” Chairman Johnson stated.

I did notice an odd thing that is remarkable in its omission. Among all of the documents he is calling for in between his snark attacks at Governor Tim Walz, RoJo Cousteau forgot to ask for the court transcripts of the dozens of people already tried and convicted in the scandal.

I wonder why that is. Maybe the same reason he's not worried about the Epstein files.

Maria Lazar Is More Radical Than Even Rebecca Bradley

Wisconsin Watch took a unique approach to the race for the Wisconsin Supreme Court. They asked both the Chris Taylor campaign and the Maria Lazar campaign to select a case that showcases their strengths and their opponent's weaknesses.

Interestingly, they both chose the same case - a voting rights case on whether voters had to completely fill out their address, including city, state, and zip code.  Taylor ruled with the voters, pointing out that the law did not require them to include all of that information.

Each campaign explained why they chose this case:

A spokesperson for Taylor’s campaign said the case demonstrates how Taylor protected Democratic rights and “fairly” and “impartially” applies the law.

“This decision balanced protecting each Wisconsinite’s right to vote with establishing a fair, uniform procedure for our local clerks,” Taylor campaign spokesman Sam Roecker said. “As indicative of the strength of this decision, no party involved in the case appealed Judge Taylor’s decision.”

Lazar’s campaign said Taylor failed to consider the intent of the Legislature

“Judge Taylor’s opinion, on the merits, indicates how far an activist judge who legislates from the bench will go to alter procedures for election integrity,” Lazar campaign spokesman Nathan Conrad said of the witness address case. “Every common sense citizen in Wisconsin knows that an address consists of a street name, number and municipality.”

The explanation from the Lazar campaign reminded me of something that shows Lazar is unfit to be on the bench, especially not the Supreme Court.

Seven years ago, the Wisconsin Supreme Court heard a case in which the decision came down to intent versus how the law is written. The Court ruled that intent was irrelevant and the law had to be followed as written. That decision was written by Rebecca Bradley, whose seat is up for grabs in April:

"The county urges the court to interpret 'not covered by the terms of a collective bargaining agreement' to mean 'not represented by a union,'" Rebecca Bradley wrote for the majority. "Because we must apply the plain meaning of the ordinance's text rather than rewrite it to reflect what the county may have intended, we reject the county's request and affirm the Court of Appeals."

In summary, what the legislature might have intended is irrelevant. The thing that matters is how the law is written.  Taylor was correct and followed the law. Lazar wanted to alter the meaning of the law to meet her agenda.

We don't need anyone more radical and fascist than even Bradley on the bench.

Where's Wisconsin?

From the latest drop of the heavily redacted Epstein files comes this tidbit showing just how incompetent the first Trump administration was:

They couldn't even find Wisconsin on a map. Yet they still had Ron Johnson soiling his trousers because even these bumbling fools knew he was a Russian spy.

Get The F*ck Out Of Town

Unless you live in a cave, you have already heard the protest song done by Bruce Springsteen.

What you might not have heard is the song written and performed by Wisconsin's own Tom Kastle, inspired by the famous words of Jacob Frey, the mayor of Minneapolis, after the murder of Renee Good by ICEtapo goons:

Thank you to  Tom for giving his permission for me to share this.

Ron Tusler's Freudian Slip

On Monday, as the nation was still reeling from the execution-style murder of Alex Pretti, Wisconsin State Rep. Ron Tusler took time to praise Trump's handling of immigration on Facebook. However, Tusler's choice of words left a lot to be desired - starting with human decency:

His choice of the word "execute" was thoughtless at best.

After I confronted Tusler on his word choice, he edited his post to change execute to conduct. But the post in its entirety shows that Tusler has his nose so far up Trump's butt that he can't see what's going on in the country and the world:

He wants Congress to change the law to allow the ICEtapo to execute American citizens for defending the Constitution and human decency?  He wants Congress to allow ICEtapo goons to go door to door, looking for "undesirable" people his kind don't think belong here, all without a warrant?  He wants Congress to change the law so that the only way an immigrant can come to the United States is to pay a bribe to Trump?

Tusler is the kind of guy who would have told the Nazis where Anne Frank was hiding. He's not the kind of guy we need in any elected office.

Stolen From Social Media: So It Might Not Be True, But It Feels Like It Could Be:

“If it wasn’t for America, you’d be speaking German right now.”~ Donald Trump to Guy Parmelin, the president of Switzerland.

Think about that for a moment and I hope you remember your high school history and geography,

Want to do something about ICE right now without leaving home?

The bill funding ICE is set to be voted upon in the Senate later this month. Contact your Senators by phone, email, on their websites, RIGHT NOW. And then tomorrow, Monday, Tuesday, rinse and repeat.

Note To Denmark II: OR just give Greenland to Canada.

Makes more sense in the long run since they are closer neighbors and will totally totally piss Trump off, bigly.

Note to Denmark: Just Issue A Worthless Deed For Greenland To Trump:

Heavy paper stock, lots of gilding, fancy hand lettering, gibberish in Danish of course. And then? Start sending him a bill each month of $1 Billion for his Home Owner's Association Fees!

Never Fear! Milwaukee County Is Protecting Your 1st Amendment Right To Freedom Of Speech.

Just rollin' out the red carpet for all of you!

I wonder where number 1 and number 2 is located? Somewhere else in the airport? Or??

Tiffany Uses Right Wing Operative As 'Average Taxpayer' In Ad

Tom Tiffany is running this ad with "average taxpayers" complaining about their property taxes being too high:

Now, I could go into how the steep hike in taxes is because the Republicans chose not to properly fund the schools, forcing the school districts to hike their share, but that's for another post.

However, the point I want to make is that the people in the ad are as fake as trying to put the blame solely on Gov.Tony Evers.  The first person in the Tiffany ad, Amber from Lake Geneva, is Amber Infusio.

Infusio is one of the Moms for Fascism that like to cite quotes from Hitler and host underage drinking parties because parents know best. Maybe Infusio's appearance in Tiffany's ad is quid pro quo for Tiffany signing a pledge card for her at last year's State Fair:

If Tiffany is running fake ads this early in the race, how can anyone trust him on anything he says for the rest of the year?

Here's a hint: You can't!
