The United States Can Elect A Convicted Felon President but in Canada:

Yes, the United States has elected a convicted felon, unabashed habitual liar, pedophile, financial disaster, scam artist, war criminal, someone with little knowledge of the world, and a limited facility with English to the US Presidency, but everyone seems to be cool with that (sarcasm alert), RIGHT?

But in Canada:

Air Canada’s chief executive, Michael Rousseau, said Monday that he would step down, days after criticism over his condolence message, delivered almost entirely in English, following a fatal accident involving an Air Canada plane at New York’s LaGuardia Airport.

Mr. Rousseau, 68, faced backlash after releasing a video primarily in English and little French, such as “bonjour” and “merci,” which was criticized as dismissive of French-speaking Canadians. Politicians quickly voiced their frustrations, arguing that Mr. Rousseau’s inability to speak French showed a disconnect from a significant portion of the country.

???? Please make sense of this?

Wait And Wait, There's More

As the gentle reader probably already knows, GOP activist and election denier Harry Wait has been convicted of two counts of election fraud and one count of identity theft. Wait had asked for and received eight absentee ballots in the 2022 election, including those for Racine Mayor Cory Mason and soon-to-be former Speaker Robbin' Vos.

Ironically, Wait was part of the group that went after Vos for not doing enough about election fraud, just as Wait had committed.

The convictions in themselves are not a surprise. Wait went on social media bragging about his crimes, falsely claiming that the system doesn't work when it clearly does.

However, there are a couple of parts of the story I would have liked to see some follow-up on.

One was whether Sen. Ron Johnson still thinks that Wait is a "white hat hacker."  My guess is that he would say yes. After all, election fraudsters have to stick together.

The other issue I have is with Racine County Sheriff Christopher Schmailing. Wait had notified Schmaling via email of his crimes, but instead of arresting Wait, Schmaling joined in on the bragging:

Schmaling did not arrest Wait and instead publicized the plot on social media as being helpful in rooting out vulnerabilities in the state election system and blamed the Wisconsin Elections Commission, calling on commissioners to remove a way voters can easily request ballots online.

I want to know why Schmaling was not investigated and charged as a party to the crime.  After all, the system will only work if law enforcement enforces the laws, which Schmaling obviously did not.

If You Want Your Kid To Go And Fight In Some Stupid Globalist War, Vote For Joe Biden, said?

JD Vance On War During The 2024 Campaign

"When people like Kamala Harris send our sons and daughters, our young people, to fight in stupid wars, it is the young generation that carries the burden of that. We're gonna stop sending our young people to far away lands. We are not the policemen of the world."

And, now?

The Democratic Party of Wisconsin Isn't Being Helpful Here.

This article has been in been in the back of my mind for weeks, so finally, I am releasing it to the wild.

As all of our readers are sure to know, Governor Tony Evers is not running for re-election. So there is a plethora of Democrats running in the August primary. And initially there were a number of Republicans as well but earlier in 2026 there were only two. They were U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany and Washington County Exec. Josh Schoemann.

And then Donald Trump endorsed Rep. Tiffany and almost immediately Exec. Schoemann dropped out of the race.

When putting together an article on the subject for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reporter Molly Beck apparently contacted the DPW and? : 'A spokeswoman for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin issued a statement on Schoemann's exit that simply said, "Who?"'

Now, any of those you follow me here or followed me in earlier iterations know that I certainly dabble in snark and satire in a grand manner. And I can appreciate this bit of snark from that perspective but given the divide and animosity in contemporary politics, this isn't particularly helpful coming from a spokesperson for a major party.

A better reply might have been? It's too bad that the Republican party isn't willing to provide Republican voters and Republican leaning voters with an opportunity to select their own candidate for Wisconsin governor.

And remember, the Wisconsin primary is August 11 , 2026

Kristi Noem Gets Slap On Wrist, Justice Gets Slapped Down

Image via DonkeyHotey

By now, the whole world is aware of the fact that Kristi Noem, the Puppy Killer, is out as head of the Dept of Homeland Security. The only thing surprising about the whole sordid affair - Noem being fired, not her dalliances with her "top aide", Corey Lewandowski - is that a narcissist like Trump had put up with being embarrassed by her for as long as he had. His dementia must be so bad that he doesn't know what's going on around him.

But there are a few things that need to be kept in mind.

One, Noem's removal as head of DHS was not impulsive.  It was planned out, complete with performative set-ups during this week's hearings, and the time for her proposed successor, Markwayne Moon Mullen, to be ready. Trust me, Mullen is not that bright that he can think on his feet.

Secondly, this move isn't anything more than a slap on the wrist for Noem.  Oh, sure, she has to give up her sex plane, her taxpayer-funded glamor shots, and all of her cosplay costumes. But now she gets to collect a huge salary for doing nothing more than staying out of the way. Good work if you can get it, especially while most of the country is struggling to make ends meet.

Third, justice has not been done. No one has been held accountable for the executions of Renee Good or Alex Pretti.  No, on ehass been held accountable for all the terrorism her goons have caused throughout the nation.  No one has been made to answer for all of the money she has squandered and has lined her pockets with.

Hell, even Cricket, the puppy that Noem killed for no good reason, still gets no justice.  And that's criminal in itself.

Radio Squawker Calls For Assassination of Gov. Tim Walz UPDATED!

Dan O'Donnell, a squawk radio host on WISN-AM, went on Xitter and proved how sociopathic he really is by posting back-to-back tweets. In one tweet, he posted an image of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz dressed like Ayatollah Khomeini. In the other tweet, he called for someone to "take out" Walz:

O'Donnell's posts are exceptionally egregious after the assassination of Minnesota Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, and the shooting of another lawmaker and his wife just last summer.

Last year, O'Donnell made the news by leading the charge to get former Channel 58 meteorologist Sam Kuffel fired because she went on her own private social media page and criticized Elon Musk's Nazi salute. Since Kuffel was fired for criticizing a Nazi salute, calling for the assassination should be a fireable offense and a referral to the authorities for investigation.

Unfortunately, inappropriate behavior is more the norm than the exception at WISN.  In 2024, former WISN squawker Jay Weber disparaged Gus Walz.

Years before that, the station's then star squawker, Mark Belling, would routinely insult women politicians and reporters and use racial slurs.

Both Belling and Weber were suspended, but apparently nothing has changed.  If anything, things have gotten worse.  The station needs to make an example of O'Donnell before things escalate any further.

ADDENDUM: O'Donnell did make a half-ass apology:

O'Donnell still needs to see consequences for his actions, unless, of course, WISN condones that kind of behavior. Then the station also needs to see consequences.

UPDATE: O'Donnell was not on the air Tuesday afternoon. It is not known whether he's been suspended, fired, or couldn't handle the heat for his depravity.
