Walker Has His Back Against The Canadian Wall

In the above video, the gentle reader will see part of Scott Walker's interview with Chuck Todd on Meet the Press this past Sunday, in which Walker said that building a wall along the Canadian-US border was a "legitimate issue."

The gentle reader will also see Walker's appearance on Fox's "American Newsroom" on Tuesday, in which he denies ever talking about a fence along the border, calling it a "joke."

Here is the dialogue from Sunday:
“Do you want to build a wall north of here too?” Todd asked, noting that Walker has talked about building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border to deter terrorism in addition to illegal immigration.

“Some people have asked us about that in New Hampshire,” Walker replied. “They raised some very legitimate concerns, including some law enforcement folks that brought that up to me at one of our town hall meetings about a week and a half ago. So that is a legitimate issue for us to look at.”
In fact, Walker doubled down on his Canadian wall after the show had aired:
In the immediate aftermath of his comments, Walker didn’t back down, tweeting on Sunday: “Law enforcement expressed concerns to me about border security. I won’t ignore them.”
Per Walker, we shouldn't pay attention to what he said but just to what he says he said.

Or so he says.

Career Politician Walker Claims To Be A Political Outsider

Scott Walker thinks that the American people are dumb. Really dumb.

Walker, who has been in politics his entire adult life, is now claiming that he is not a career politician.

No, really:
Gov. Scott Walker denies he’s a career politician — even though he has been in elected office since he was 25 years old and first ran for office when he was 22.

The 47-year-old Republican presidential contender said in an interview with CNBC, released Tuesday, that he is “just a normal guy” and rejects the career politician label despite being in politics for most of his adult life.

“A career politician, in my mind, is somebody who’s been in Congress for 25 years,” Walker said.

Walker ran for the state Assembly representing Milwaukee in 1990 when he was 22 and lost. He then moved to a more conservative suburb and ran again in 1993 and won. He hasn’t lost an election since.

Walker served nine years in the Assembly, eight years as Milwaukee County executive and is now in his fifth year as governor.
What the article fails to include is that Walker was also in the student senate at Marquette University and had an unsuccessful run at being the president before dropping out/being kicked out.

But according to Walker, none of that counts because it wasn't in Congress.

Walker said that he prefers to think of himself as a public servant. In Walkerese, however, the public is the dark money groups and the billionaires that fund them.

I told you Walker thinks we are dumb.
