Mitt Makes It Very Clear....

he thinks the middle class is not capable of voting for themselves!

H/T Think Progress for this one:

Newly-discovered audio from a conference call in June captures Mitt Romney asking business owners to urge their employees to vote for him.

Romney, speaking on a call to the very conservative National Federation of Independent Business, tells a group of business owners that they should “make it very clear” how they feel about the candidates.

I hope you make it very clear to your employees what you believe is in the best interest of your enterprise and therefore their job and their future in the upcoming elections. And whether you agree with me or you agree with President Obama, or whatever your political view, I hope — I hope you pass those along to your employees. Nothing illegal about you talking to your employees about what you believe is best for the business, because I think that will figure into their election decision, their voting decision and of course doing that with your family and your kids as well.

Audio here, this comes in around 26:40!

So we know now what Mitt means when he says:

Especially when they do not vote the way he tells them to in our "Constitutionally limited democratic republic"!   Although I am not sure that is how our Founder's set it up.

Unfortunately for our country, there are some CEO's who have taken Mitt's orders to heart!

There have already been some reports of employers suggesting how their employees should cast their ballots. A CEO of a Florida resort company threatened to fire his employees if Obama won. The CEO of a timeshare company did the same. And the famous right-wing Koch brothers warned of “consequences” of not voting for Romney.

Maybe someone should be looking into this!

Is there anything that Mitt will not say when he thinks he is in private?

What If They Threw A Tea Party And No One Came?

From Think Progress:
With Fox News host Glenn Beck’s ratings down and the biggest tea party rally eclipsed by a recent pro-labor rally in Wisconsin, could the tea party be losing steam? One new sign: a big tea party convention in Tampa, FL this weekend — headlined by such conservative favorites as Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX), Fox News Judge Andrew Napolitano, and former GOP Congressman Tom Tancredo — attracted only about 300 people. The Save America Convention’s website lists 25 guest speakers, meaning there was one speaker for every 12 attendees. If one includes the 13 musicians and other performers listed as entertainment, that ratio drops to one for every 7 and a half.
It only makes sense. Negative emotions are hard to maintain for long periods of time. In fact, I'm a little surprised they kept their hate up this long.
