This is the 2017 America that a massive landslide of Republican wins, led by The Donald, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan, and Senate Leader Mitch McConnell have brought to us:
"This represents a turning point for the people of this country. We are determined to take our country back. We are going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump. That's what we believed in. That's why we voted for Donald Trump, because he said he's going to take our country back."
-- David Duke, in Charlottesville today
FYI: What did Senate hopeful Leah Vukmir post on her social media in the midst of all of this violence, terrorism, and racism?
I think the people who voted for this clown, and now support him blindly(I am looking at you Paul Ryan), owe the rest of us an apology! I am also tempted to say we should make then wear Big Red T around their neck so that we all know who was responsible for this dark time in our history!
As we know, there is always more. While the obnoxiousness and absurdity of the candidates has empowered the dregs of society to feel comfortable talking and committing violent acts.
I wonder why they would feel that they could attack someone that did not look like them.
Republican leaders adamantly opposed to Donald J. Trump’s candidacy are preparing a 100-day campaign to deny him the presidential nomination, starting with an aggressive battle in Wisconsin’s April 5 primary and extending into the summer, with a delegate-by-delegate lobbying effort that would cast Mr. Trump as a calamitous choice for the general election.
Recognizing that Mr. Trump has seized a formidable advantage in the race, they say that an effort to block him would rely on an array of desperation measures, the political equivalent of guerrilla fighting.
The group who whined about the uncertainty that was created by the recall are now planning to completely upend the electoral process of the primaries and create massive uncertainty within the Presidential primary process. Anything to make sure the billionaires stay in power.
While the Republican establishment hates Trump and is very worried about losing their grip as owners of the Republican nominee, they do appreciate the fact that his supporters like to physically abuse people who disagree,
Thiessen concedes that Trump’s egging on of the people in his crowds, including the promise to pay their legal fees, is “highly irresponsible” — but it’s just so invigorating to see it: “His supporters see a man who stands up for himself and believe he won’t let the United States get pushed around either.”
Yes, Trump’s call for a Muslim ban, his spewing of conspiracies theories about 9/11 and Iraq, his embrace of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Middle East dictators, and his calls for protesters to be “roughed up” are all repulsive. But for many Americans, the left’s smash-mouth tactics are repulsive as well.
Trump understands this, which is why he is milking the protests to his advantage. He is using them to rally blue-collar America by saying we’re not going to take this anymore — we are not going to bow to the Alinskyite tactics of the radical left.
Yes, your memory is not playing tricks on you. You have heard of Marc Thiessen before, he is responsible for this literary nightmare!
One would think that when your resume consists of writing speeches for the President who gave the worst speeches in History and ghostwriting a fictional autobiography of one of the worst and most easily intimidated Governors in history would disqualify you from being taken seriously in politics again but this is crazy season.
The governor said the field became a little clearer after Tuesday’s contests, but no decision has been made yet. “Clearly sometime between now and the presidential preference primary…I’ll let people know if I’m going to endorse or not,” Walker said during a stop in Green Bay earlier this week.
Walker himself dropped out of the race last September. While he did not mention Donald Trump by name at the time, he encouraged other candidates to also exit so the Republican Party could establish another front runner in the race.
Apparently, even though Walker spent 71 days and $7 Million dollars hanging out with these guys, he still needs more time to see who he can endorse that will further his own blind ambition.
During a Saturday rally in Phoenix, Arizona, Trump made his supporters grand promises of how “we are going to win”. Amongst these promises was an ominous threat. Shouting over the crowd’s cheers, Trump yelled:
“We’re going to win with our Second Amendment. We’re gonna win big league with our Second Amendment!”
You can watch the unbelievable moment below, where Trump delights his gun-loving fanatics:
I truly believe that unless an adult steps in to the room and puts his/her foot down this is going to escalate into a conclusion where people get hurt. Who is going to be the adult in the room for the GOP?
Seriously. This happened yesterday. At a Donald Trump rally!
For those that attended voucher and private schools, here is a refresher:
By the way, for those ignorant of our history, that regime did not turn out very well. Is America that desperate to be told that we are great? Do people really hate the fact that our President is black, that badly?
While Godwin's law states that As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1"[2][3]—that is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Hitler or Nazism. I think people actually acting like the Schutzstaffel during an election year should now be called Reince's law.
Thats why it is so important to support your public schools and universities. Critical thinking has disappeared and ignorance rules these days.
Grimm: "Let me be clear to you, you ever do that to me again I'll throw you off this f-----g balcony."
Scotto: "Why? I just wanted to ask you..."
[[cross talk]]
Grimm: "If you ever do that to me again..."
Scotto: "Why? Why? It’s a valid question." [[cross talk]]
Grimm: "No, no, you're not man enough, you're not man enough. I'll break you in half. Like a boy."
Later, Grimm released a statement in which he failed to apologize, generally blamed the whole thing on the pesky unprofessional reporter, and sort of hinted towards more physical threats to come:
"I was extremely annoyed because I was doing NY1 a favor by rushing
to do their interview in lieu of several other requests...I verbally
took the reporter to task and told him off, because I expect a certain
level of professionalism and respect especially when I go out of my way
to do that reporter a favor. I doubt that I am the first Member of
Congress to tell off a reporter, and I am certain I won't be the last."
and locally Rep. Sinicki shared this letter with us(from an anonymous coward) with us:
They are unhinged all over this country!
It leaves me trying to figure out what their 2014 campaign slogan will be:
* Do what we say or else!
* It wasn't me!
* When a Republican does it ....it's not against the law!
* LOOK ---- Over there!
* Benghazi!
* 1814 all over again! * We didn't gerrymander because you love us!
* The GOP path to desparity!
Let's help these guys out, what is your suggestion for the republicans 2014 campaign slogan? They need all the help they can get!
there were 1,360 radical, anti-government “Patriot” groups
(including 321 militias) in 2012. Such groups numbered only 149 in 2008.
This represents an 813 percent rise since President Obama took
office—and not coincidentally, the fourth straight year the numbers have
increased.
“These numbers far exceed the movement’s peak in the 1990s, when
militias were inflamed by the 1993 Brady Bill and the 1994 assault rifle
ban,” says the report.
At the same time, active “hate groups
– neo-Nazis, white nationalists, racist skinheads, and others” continue
to proliferate at near-record highs. The SPLC counted 1,007 such groups
in 2012. Organizations considered hate groups by the Center “have
beliefs or practices that attack or malign an entire class of people,
typically for their immutable characteristics,” and their activities can
include “criminal acts, marches, rallies, speeches, meetings,
leafleting or publishing.”
By the way what was one of the defining factors in way to tell if a group was a hate group or not? the word "Patriot" was(very much mislabled) in their title!
Now, it seems
likely that the radical right’s growth will continue. In 2012, before
Obama’s re-election and the Newtown, Conn., massacre, the rate of
Patriot growth had slackened somewhat, although it remained significant.
Anger over the idea of four more years under a black, Democratic
president — and, even more explosively, the same kinds of gun control
efforts that fueled the militia movement of the 1990s — seems already to
be fomenting another Patriot spurt.

And the Republican Minority gets it. They also get that because they were able to steal the House of Representatives while America sleeps, now they want the presidency! They are not going to change their policies or people so they are changing the rules.
Many of our friends on the right like to ignore the abortion debate and call it "distraction". There is a reason for that of course, they have a plan to end abortion and would prefer to "drop that boimb" after they are elected, instead of discuss it while they are attempting to get elected(deja vu?).
While they run from the topic as often as possible, they occasionally let the truth slip. Lets take a look.
Speaking to reporters in Ohio today, Mitt Romney emphasized his opposition to abortion after
pivoting away from that position in a recent interview.
“I think I’ve said time and again that I’m a pro-life candidate
and I’ll be a pro-life president,” Romney said. “The actions I’ll take
immediately is to remove funding for Planned Parenthood.
It will not be part of my budget. And also I’ve indicated that
I will reverse the Mexico City position of the president. I will
reinstate the Mexico City policy which keeps us from using foreign aid
for abortions overseas.”
Speaking to the Des Moines Register editorial board Tuesday, Romney
said that “there’s no legislation with regards to abortion that I’m
familiar with that would become part of my agenda.”
In that interview, Romney mentioned the Mexico City policy — which
would prevent NGOs that receive federal funding from promoting or
performing abortions. He explained that the change would be “done by
executive order and not by legislation.”(they were for executive orders before they were against them, but that's another story).
Then of course there is the fact that Mitt would love to appoint more Scalia's to the Supreme Court to allow them overturn "Roe V Wade":
Romney Said He Would Appoint Supreme Court Justice Who Would “Hopefully Reverse Roe V. Wade.”
Romney: “I’m in favor of a pro-life policy. The legislation that
relates to abortion which is something that is going to have to be
approved by the Supreme Court and the key decisions I’ll take as the
president will be number one, stopping funding for Planned
Parenthood, re-instituting the Mexico City policy which says our funds
can’t be used for abortion around the world and appointing justices to
the Supreme Court that will follow the Constitution, hopefully reverse
Roe v. Wade, and return to the states, the
authority for making law with regards to abortion.”
Then we look at his running mate in the Vice Presidential debate and he could not speak when asked to reassure women that they would not make abortion illegal:
Finally we let the weasel Reince Priebus weigh in and get smacked down by Soledad O Brien!
If you care about keeping the big government white male republican party out of your uterus, womb and body. Pay attention, tell your friends and VOTE!!!
