Walker's Attempt At Citizen Supression Is Less Than Popular .,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

We Ask America recently did an automated poll.  They asked the people of Wisconsin what they thought of Scott Walker's "Budget Repair Bill."  As you can see from this chart, a majority of the people feel that it's goes too far and are against it:

Yet Walker still likes to pretend he has the majority.  The man is remarkably resistant to reality.  Of course, he has to have some major defense mechanisms to be that anti-social and still sleep at night.

  1. Remarkable to see EVERY AGE GROUP have a majority in opposition.

I want to see that poll break out into 3 choices:

    1. Approve of the bill in its entireity.

    2. Approve of the added pension and health insurance premiums for state employees, but oppose the collective bargaining and rule-making changes.

    3. Oppose the bill in its entireity.

I saw a poll that did this, and when you did that, you saw about 65% choose 2 or 3. Only 30% or so approved of the entire thing.

The pulling of collective bargaining rights and the other power-grabs in the bill are the political blunders that Scotty and co made (the state unions already agreed to the need for concessions), and those non-budget things is what took the protests into the next level. And it'll be what will kill the GOP in 2012 (if not before, you guys can recall Darling and Kapankne and others).
