Pat Snyder Needs A Calendar

Image result for calendarBy Jeff Simpson

Pat Snyder, who wants to make the 85th Assembly District "A better place", has some friends that are working against him.

A group that actually calls themselves "Friends of Pat Snyder",  has put out an attack webpage on Mandy Wright.   The website which is actually, truth.patsnyderfor8th is one page of poorly formatted and silly attacks on Ms. Wright.

They actually blame Ms. Wright for the scandal at the Veterans nursing home in King, WI.   While the King situation is a huge mess, it is far from Mandy Wright's problem.

Mr. Snyder's friends were actually kind enough to footnote their attack ad, unfortunately not sure they actually read their notes.

1. Wisconsin Act 20, 8/2013
2. The Capital Times, 8/31/16
3. WBAY, 9/6/16
4. The Capital Times, 8/31/16
5. The Capital Times, 8/29/16
6. The Capital Times, 7/15/16

For those paying attention, Ms. Wright was the 85th Assembly Rep from January 2012- January 2014,where she served in the minority and unable to effect any change that the Republicans did not agree with.

That being said,  it is beyond the pale for anyone to blame Ms. Wright for any bad that is happening statewide in the summer of 2016.

It shows desperation, lack of understanding of the issues and the disgusting ability to use our heroes as props in an ability to gain power.

A fun fact about the "Friends of Pat Snyder" group is it appears that the Plural (s) is a typo as the only friend of Mr. Snyder that I can find is his treasurer, Attorney Sarah Ruffi.  Atty Ruffi is well known for hiring someone for her law office then rescinding the offer after President Obama was elected.

There is only one choice for the people if the 85th and that is Mandy Wright!

What Was Your Trump Moment?

By Jeff Simpson

Today was the scheduled GOP Love Fest at the Walworth County Fairgrounds.  The event was billed as all of the superstars on the Republican party would be in attendance with The Donald headlining.

The price for the peons to attend was anywhere from $30 to $1000, but like everything the WISGOP does, it never quite adds up to the billing. Thanks to a leaked tape from Access Hollywood, where he was on a bus with Billy Bush(the Spicoli of the Bush family), where the GOP nominee for President of the United States was downing tic tacs because they saw a sexy woman and he might be compelled to start kissing her and "grab her by the pussy",  The Donald was not allowed to attend.

After a few hours of national outrage, Paul Ryan and his fellow Republicans also decided to be outraged and uninvited The Donald and instead invited VP nominee Mike Pence.   Finally. after a few hours someone in the GOP brain trust, realized that inviting Pence instead was not really distancing themselves from The Donald, so at the last minute uninvited Mr. Pence.

To the ticketholders, no refunds and no exchanges and many were not happy.

Attendees said a much larger crowd turned out earlier in the morning hoping to see Trump or Pence, only to learn after arriving that neither would appear. Many of them left.
Jean Stanley, 50, an online educator from New Berlin wearing a pink T-shirt saying “Wisconsin Women Love Trump,” said she was upset at Ryan for not welcoming Trump.
“To me, I feel like he’s kind of a traitor,” Stanley said of Ryan, dismissing Trump’s comments as something he said in private when he was a Hollywood celebrity.
Sure Jean Stanley will be the subject of numerous case studies in the coming years but for now she is typical of the Dr. Frankenstein the Republicans have created.

The Trump tapes were the final straw for Paul Ryan, Scott Walker, Ron Johnson et al...

They were deplorable, I agree and so does most of America...However that means that the WI trio had absolutely no problem with:

In fact, we now have a list of all the things the Republican Party will tolerate solely for the sake of the White House and a continued congressional majority. It’s a long list.
The Republican Party will tolerate racist condemnation of Mexican immigrants and Latino Americans at large. It will tolerate the same racist condemnation of Muslims, even as both attacks feed an atmosphere of paranoia, distrust, and violence.
It will tolerate a policy platform that treats these groups—and Syrian refugees to the United States—as a dangerous fifth column. In Trump’s vision of America, Latino immigrants, when they aren’t “stealing jobs,” are the vector for crime and disorder, plunging towns and cities into lawlessness. It’s why Trump wants to root them out with a new “deportation force,” home by home, person by person. And it’s why he wants a wall on the Mexican border—a concrete prophylactic to keep those dark-skinned migrants from reaching our borders.
It will tolerate the same racist policies for Muslim Americans. In Trump’s world, Muslims are a “Trojan horse,” a foreign intrusion that threatens American security. It’s why he wants to ban their entry to the country, why he wants new surveillance of Muslim communities, why he wants to reject refugees, and why he’s accused Muslim Americans of condoning terrorist violence. “They know what’s going on,” Trump saidafter a shooter killed 49 people at a nightclub in Orlando. “They know that he was bad. They knew the people in San Bernardino were bad. But you know what? They didn’t turn them in. And you know what? We had death, and destruction.”
The Republican Party and its leaders—Reince Priebus, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and hundreds of federal and state office-holders—will tolerate attacks on veterans and prisoners of war. It will tolerate blatant racism toward a federal judge and a Gold Star family, whose son died fighting for this country. It will tolerate Trump’s call for war crimes (“take their oil”), his zeal for torture, and his support for renewed nuclear proliferation.
It will tolerate his rhetoric toward black Americans, treating them as helpless brutes leading disordered, degenerate lives. It will even tolerate his drive to make the Republican Party a more comfortable home for white nationalists, a vehicle for ethno-nationalism and herrenvolk democracy. Ryan, praised for his principle and integrity, said nothing when Trump hired Steve Bannon to coordinate his campaign, despite Bannon’s ties to white nationalists through his website, Breitbart. He said nothing when Trump promised to deport American citizens whose parents came to the country illegally, a violation of the 14th Amendment. And even when Ryan condemned Trump—as in the case of Trump’s attacks on Judge Gonzalo Curiel and the Khan family—he still backed him for president of the United States.
For more than a year, Trump has preached state repression of nonwhites. And for more than a year, Republican leaders have tip-toed around him, even praised him. They’ve defended him, rallied behind him, and touted him as the right man to lead the country. “Donald Trump is committed to cut taxes, curb spending, and get our national debt under control,” said Florida Sen. Marco Rubio in his video endorsement of Trump at the Republican National Convention in July. “Unlike Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump takes seriously the threats from Islamic radicals and is committed to rebuilding our military.” Rubio joined the recent chorus against Trump, even as he continues to back the real estate mogul’s bid for the White

We now know what Paul Ryan's breaking point is.

For me personally, my Trump moment, where I  I knew that the Donald had no intention. interest, or qualifications to actually be President.

The Trump Stain Will Never Come Out

By Jeff Simpson

“I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her,” Trump says. “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”
“And when you’re a star, they let you do it,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”
“Whatever you want,” says another voice, apparently Bush’s.
“Grab them by the p---y,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”
Of course the WISGOP are front and center in this situation, fully embarrassing Wisconsin.

Rep Michael Schraa, who represents the 53rd Assembly District, and whose profile reads,   Hubby 2 an amazing gal. Dad to 3 awesome girls and then tweeted this in response to Trumps words:

Here's Wisconsin state rep 's reaction to the story, as shared on Facebook:

A State Rep. and father of three girls makes light of a 59 year old man talking about raping any woman he finds attractive.   Welcome to Wisconsin - 2016.

Luckily for Mr. Schraa, and unfortunately for the 53rd Assembly district, Mr. Shraa has no opponent to vote for.  Enjoy two more years of this Roger Rivard type of comedian.       Do not bother looking for the tweet, Captain Courageous deleted it.

But wait there is more.

Until 8:00 PM tonight, Donald Trump was on his way for a lovefest with the Wisconsin Republican Party.  Scott Walker, Ron Johnson, Paul Ryan, Scott Fitzgerald et all had just bought new lipstick to kiss The Donalds butt.

However, due to heavy pressure, Paul Ryan cancelled The Donalds appearance.   Paul Ryan was completely disgusted(emphasis mine).

"I am sickened by what I heard today," Ryan said in a statement issued late Friday. "Women are to be championed and revered, not objectified. I hope Mr. Trump treats this situation with the seriousness it deserves and works to demonstrate to the country that he has greater respect for women than this clip suggests. In the meantime, he is no longer attending tomorrow’s event in Wisconsin."

Apparently to Paul Ryan, calling a woman "Miss Piggy" and a Latina woman "Miss Housekeeping" is his way to champion and revere women.  With friends like that .....

But wait there is more!

What will the Donald be doing now that he was uninvited from the Paul Ryan hugfest?  Hanging out with Reince Priebus of course.

But wait, let's throw one more fun fact in for good measure.

Republican Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald predicts that with the help of the WOW counties.  Granted they would still be sending us Wild Bill Kramer if he wasn't in prison, but really it is no surprise that Scott Fitzgerald would find no problem with The Donald's behavior.

"I’ve not only become a believer that he is the best candidate to be the next president, but it’s about unifying that message behind the Trump campaign," Fitzgerald said.

There will be lots of love, lots of how great the GOP is and no talk of Trump tomorrow in Walworth.
Do not let them fool you.  Everyone on that stage will gladly walk in the voting booth and pull the lever for Trump.   Maybe when Trump wins in November, he will replace all of the Generals with the people on the stage tomorrow.

Sleep well thinking about that!

Tyler August Running Scared

By Jeff Simpson

What happens when a man of privilege, feels he deserves to be in an elected office for life and gets challenged by a strong, intelligent woman?

I think we all know the answer to that.   The man feels threatened and so the threats begin.

This cycle has been playing out for ages in our country and it played out again in the 32nd District.   Tyler August is the current placeholder and thanks to some unethical gerrymandering, he feels this is his seat for life.

Christine Welcher has other ideas and the people of the 32nd are taking notice.   Christine's success and positive message, coupled with Tyler August's /laziness and record of pettiness, has caused Mr. August to fear for his job.

Mr. August losing his job, is unacceptable to many people in the state, who we learned through #walkerdocs rely on non thinking yes men, to  pass their regressive agenda.

They then decided to do what they do best....intimidate(or at least try too)!

During what's been contentious election season so far, Lake Geneva police are now investigating vandalism hitting a cluster of campaign signs.
The signs were put up by the Walworth County Democrats along Baker Street in the city. The vandalism happened sometime before Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
Investigators currently do not have any leads in the case.
On Tuesday the fingers of Bob Cole poke through a Russ Feingold sign. He usually just installs them for the Walworth County Democrats - but armed with masking tape and another round of zip-ties - now he's doing rehab.
The most work needs to be done on a campaign sign for Christine Welcher who's running for the assembly seat for the 32nd District.
Someone forced multiple holes into her poster directly on the eye and mouth.
"They only way they could be is someone kicked 'em, beat 'em, chop 'em, cut 'em or something," Cole said.
"To me this looks like hate. Somebody, you know, they go for their face to hurt 'em," Cole said.

Yes it is definitely hate.  When you have a Governor whose main policy is this:

When hate is the one product Walker is pedaling, hate is what we get.   Unfortunately for him and his crew, Christine Welcher is unintimidated!

That is the kind of person that the people of the 32nd district, and the people of Wisconsin needs fighting for them.

While I doubt Mr. August had anything to do with the blatant hate and vandalism, he has been extremely quiet.  A call from him to stop the crimes would be appreciated but do not expect it to come.   He has relied on these kind of actions to get elected, and remain in power, so do not expect him to denounce them.

The best way to do that is to vote for Christine Welcher.  That is the best message to send these vandals and Mr. August!

Here is her website and her Facebook page.   Let's help her become our new Representative.   You will not regret it!

Wright Is the Right Choice In The 51st!

By Jeff Simpson

In the upcoming election, there is too much focus on the top of the ticket and not enough on the races that matter.  The ones that continue on, after you vote for Senator Feingold.

One that is very important is the 51st Assembly District.   The 51st is currently being represented by Todd Novak (R-Scott Jensen).   Todd Novak was recently named a "school choice champion" by American Federation for Children and Scott Jensen.  This is interesting because there are no voucher schools within his own district, so he is a champion of giving public education money to his bosses.

One thing that he is not, is a champion for public schools in his district,   One thing we need to point out also is Mr. Novak is also Mayor of Dodgeville(so he double dips).

Can you name one of the school districts most harmed by the education policies of the Walker administration and the Republicans.

If you guessed Dodgeville you would be correct.

District Administrator Jeffrey Jacobson said 28 teachers left the district, which comprises two elementary schools, a middle school and a high school, this summer. He said the district has hired 28 new teachers to replace them.
"In a small town, that's a lot, that's a lot of turnover," Jacobson said. "I don't want to pretend the number that we have this year doesn't draw special attention."
One parent said learning that so many teachers left the district worries her.
"It's really concerning, I didn't know we had 28 that had left," said Tahera Stern. "To hear that many is pretty scary."

The Assembly Rep and Mayor of Dodgeville is being praised by AFC while his own district crumbles under his own nose.   All of the favors that the local police have done for Mr. Novak when he gets on the whiskey, you would think he would want to help the city out in return.  Maybe the good folks of Dodgeville, should have taken heed when Mr. Novak was peeing all over the side of a building downtown as a sign of things to come.

Luckily the members of the 51st have an alternative in Jeffrey Wright.   Not the outstanding character actor, but the Assistant Superintendent of the Sauk Prairie School District.

Wisconsin has been home to my family since before its statehood. I grew up in the central part of the state, and after serving as a high school principal on Chicago’s south side, my wife and I decided to put down roots and raise a family back home in Wisconsin. Now living outside of Plain, I am the assistant superintendent for the Sauk Prairie Schools, one of the 15 school districts in the 51st Assembly District.
I value the identity of our region and see a strong path forward through smart investments in our rich traditions. I am active with economic development work, serve as the president of a local rails-to-trails effort, and participate in other civic and community groups. Let’s work together to advocate for local control of strong public schools and responsive municipalities. Let’s champion the need for wise investment in infrastructure and broadband, and find ways to attract and retain the next generation to build their lives in our dynamic rural communities.
It is imperative that we send as many champions of public education champions as possible to the legislature and this race that choice is clear cut!

Go to Jeffrey Wrights website and Facebook page.   Send him a few bucks call your friends in his district and knock some doors for him.

Our kids will thank you!

Scott Walker Loses Again

By Jeff Simpson

Scott Walker takes another blow. Scott Walker, on his punish the poor tour, and one of the few campaign promises that he kept was to drug test the poor before they were allowed to get their SNAP benefits.
On Monday, many Wisconsin residents who apply for food stamps, unemployment benefits, jobs training, or benefits and training from a handful of other state programs will have to be screened and potentially tested for drug use.Applicants will have to fill out a questionnaire about drug use, and depending on their answers, may have to submit to an actual test. Those who test positive will be referred to a state-funded treatment program.
More consistently in Wisconsin, another of Scott Walker and the Republicans major initiatives was struck down by a federal judge

WASHINGTON ― A federal court has stymied the state of Wisconsin’s effort to drug test food stamp applicants.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) championed the drug test policy as he launched a doomed presidential bid in 2015. The Obama administration said federal lawdoesn’t allow states to drug test food stamp recipients, so the Walker administration asked a federal court to decide.
Federal Judge Charles Clevert said Wisconsin filed its complaint too soon, arguing it hadn’t actually implemented the drug testing policy and given the Obama administration a chance to reject it formally.
“It is unclear how Wisconsin will implement the drug-testing program and what, if any, additional issues may or may not arise from it,” Clevert wrote in his Sept. 28 decision.
The Walker administration did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A regional office for the Department of Agriculture, which is the federal agency that oversees the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, declined to comment.
In response to the lawsuit last year, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack told HuffPostthat Walker didn’t understand federal law.
“It’s always a good idea before you start litigation to understand what the law is,” Vilsack said then.

One last point, a major initiative of our Governor's gets shot down in Federal Court that effects thousands of Wisconsinites, did not warrant a mention yet on JSonline.com or Madison.com.

Geraldo Calls David Clarke Out For "Unfair" Racist Rhetoric

After the Veep debate, Geraldo Rivera and Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke joined Sean Hannity to discuss the debate. Things quickly broke down when Rivera pointed out Clarke's irresponsible racist rhetoric:

Appearing on Sean Hannity's post-vice presidential debate show, Clarke said he took exception to Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine's criticism of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump for saying black Americans are "living in hell." Clarke is a Trump surrogate who often criticizes Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

"I said that before Donald Trump did," Clarke asserted, recalling a remark he first made in August. "I said the American ghetto is a hellhole — unless Mrs. Bill Clinton and Sen. Kaine think it's OK for blacks to live in entrenched poverty with failing schools, inadequate housing and crime-infested neighborhoods."

But Rivera pushed back, saying he grew up in New York City and rides his bike on streets all over the town.

"Harlem is not a hellhole," Rivera said. "I got news for you. There are beautiful brownstones there. There's a striving middle class. There's new restaurants opening all the time."

Rivera finished by calling Clarke's generalization "outrageous" before being cut off by Hannity, who tried to shift the discussion to the problems of African-Americans in Chicago. Rivera agreed that there are "pockets of real gang violence" in the Second City. He added that Chicago has problems that don't exist in New York.
Clarke then stomped his undersized, cowboy booted, little feet, stuck, out his lower lip and said he does too know all about ghettos and how he faces them every day.

What he forgot to mention is he won't even go to the bathroom unless he is escorted by a small platoon of deputies acting as bodyguards.

Then again, if he ever bothered doing his damn job instead of pandering to his plantation bosses on Faux News, maybe crime in Milwaukee wouldn't be half as bad as he pretends it is.

Republicans Write Off RoJo As A Lost Cause

Ron Johnson, who has consistently been trailing Russ Feingold in the polls and in fundraising, just got some more bad news this week:
As the National Republican Senatorial Committee rolled back its planned spending on Johnson’s behalf, it wasn’t clear Monday to what extent that would be offset by a new ad buy from a different wing of the same group.

NRSC spokeswoman Andrea Bozek confirmed Monday that the independent expenditure arm of the NRSC was canceling a planned ad buy in Wisconsin of about $830,000, slated to air from Oct. 17 to Nov. 7.

“Given this difficult political climate, we have to adjust reservations and strategy to ensure we are in the best position to protect the majority,” a NRSC aide reportedly said, according to Politico Pro, which first reported the news.
But that doesn't mean that Feingold will have an easy go of it for the last few weeks before election day.
The Democrats are scaling back their help as well. Even worse, dark money has started to flood Wisconsin with their smear ads:

As Senate Republicans and Democrats shift — at least for now — their focus away from Wisconsin, Johnson still stands to benefit from new spending by outside groups.

A new super PAC, Reform Wisconsin Fund, last week announced a major ad buy that slams Feingold for voting to allow partial-birth abortion. That buy amounts to about $365,000 in its first week, according to the fund.
With the Dems scaling back their help and facing a flood of dark money, I am sure that Feingold - and the people of Wisconsin - would be very grateful for any money that the gentle reader can throw his way.

Caption This! The Trump Junior Edition

I saw this picture on the Intertubes today, of Donald Trump, Jr., apparently eyeing up his stepmother in a less than wholesome way:

Not only did Junior inherit his dad's name and propensity for lying, he also inherited his dad's lechery.

You're (Not) A Good Man, Charlie Sykes

By Jeff Simpson

Chuck Sykes made bigger news today than he should have, by saying he was leaving his radio show at the end of the year.

Charlie Sykes, who has helped shape conservatism and some of its leading local figures for more than two decades, is leaving the air at the end of the year.
What Bice meant to say was that Charlie helped define a new brand of conservatism(Who is Ike anyway?)in the eastern corner of Wisconsin.   Sykes, as we have seen by the lack of actual influence of Wisconsin Republicans on the national stage, has had a very minimal effect on national "conservatism".

As we pointed out a couple weeks ago, Charlie has started trying to rework his public persona and too many "journalists" are working with him to allow that too happen.

Politico had a puff piece where they used an example to show how Charlie has changed:

“Yeah! Let me make a comparison, and I don’t mean this in a bad way,” Audrey says. “They’re talking about phasing out breeding of pit bulls. Well, not all pit bulls are bad.”
“You’re comparing American citizens, Muslims, to rabid dogs,” Sykes responds.
“No, I’m saying, they’re talking about phasing out the breed because so many are bad. No one wants to phase out poodles! I mean, there’s no Lutherans doing this! We never know when one of these people are going to be radicalized.”
“One of these people,” says Sykes.
Sykes ends the call. He’s silent, broadcasting dead air. He looks upset, like he’s stopped breathing. He goes to a commercial break.
“OK, that doesn’t happen very often,” he says off-air. “I’m not usually absolutely speechless.” He says his listeners never talked like this until recently.
“Were these people that we actually thought were our allies?” he asks.

Interesting question Chucky,  the quick answer is YES!

The Politico piece was written in August, where the blatant racism took Charlie's breath away.

Charlie recovered quickly though, and within a couple months, was back at it with winks and nods towards the Audrey's of Wisconsin.

Our Friends at Wisconsin Law and Liberty (WILL) will be holding a Soiree in Milwaukee coming up, where there is a $100 entry fee to see a conversation between Dr. Charles Murray and (you guessed it) Charlie Sykes.

While $100 seems expensive, it is a small price to pay, when you can gather a room full of people who look like you and find an "expert" to tell you that you are superior to everyone who does not look like you!

Doc Murray has made a career telling white people that they are smarter than black, women, and latino's. That of course fits the perfect profile of someone that WILL would get as a guest of honor and Charlie would want to spend the night speaking with.

The white nationalist Dr. Murray, who also happens to be a good friend and ally of Paul Ryan, will be at the University Club of Milwaukee on Wednesday October 12th from 6:00-9:00 pm.

Cash Bar will be open at 6:00, followed by a serving of bigotry, discrimination and narrow-mindedness, dessert will be a fresh serving of Jim Crow, made from Charlie Sykes own recipe.

In between the courses, Charlie Sykes and Dr. Murray will be discussing the wonders of white people.

In the end its no surprise that Charlie Sykes will be the lone person on stage with Dr. Murray.

The question that needs to be answered though, is will Audrey be in the front row?

Lee Camp - Redacted

Published on Sep 30, 2016
In this episode of Redacted Tonight, Lee Camp breaks down the first 2016 Presidential Debate. He covers the crucial issues that were absurdly missing from the debate; issues that are, in fact, the most pressing for our nation and the world. Also, correspondent John F. O’Donnell infiltrates the presidential debate like a troll-god. He messes with the heads of some of the most powerful American politicians alive, and they have no freakin’ idea. Then Lee Camp gives updates on both the lawsuit against the Democratic National Committee for rigging the primary election against Bernie Sanders, and the militaristic measures taken against the Dakota Access Pipeline clean-water defenders. Finally, Correspondent Naomi Karavani reveals the intensifying “War on Cash.”

Sean Duffy's Cowardice!

By Jeff Simpson

Sean Duffy, reality "star", semi lawyer and nude dancer, married his Real World co-"star", Rachel Campos.  The couple have eight children and Ms. Campos-Duffy was voted one of the most influential Latino Republicans in America.

The Republican Nominee for President of the United States, The Donald, recently threw a hissy fit regarding 1996 Miss Universe, Alicia Machado.

"He called this woman Miss Piggy. Then he called her Miss Housekeeping because she was Latina," Clinton said. "She has become a U.S. citizen, and you can bet she's going to vote this November."

So Donald Trump calls a Miss Universe - Miss Housekeeping because she was Latina and then calls her Miss Piggy because she gained some weight.

What does family values, father of girls, husband of a successful Latina woman Sean Duffy have to say about that?

One of Donald Trump's strongest allies in Wisconsin says he doesn't think voters care "a whole lot" about comments the Republican presidential candidate has made about a former beauty pageant winner, including a set of recent tweets encouraging voters to "check out (her) sex tape."

"I don’t think it changes the viewpoint of many voters," said U.S. Rep. Sean Duffy on a call with reporters Friday morning.
Yes Trump Voters do not care a whole lot about what The Donald, perpetually demeaning women, and neither does Congressman Duffy.   Unfortunately though many people are paying attention, even if they are not speaking out:

I am certain that Congressman Duffy's children are listening and realizing that their father has nothing to say to Mr. Trump but good job and you have earned my vote.

One last thing, in the small, small world of politics, Sean Duffy's former "outreach director" Pat Snyder is running for Assembly.   Do we really want to infect our Assembly with someone who is "outreach director" for someone with such a small mind?   Who is he actually reaching out too?  Orange, overweight sexists?

Let us end the stain of incompetence that Sean Duffy has given us.....Mr. Duffy has an opponent.

Mary Hoeft for Congress, check out her webpage here and her facebook page here.

Sean Duffy will not even stand up for his own family, why would we fight for you?

Let's send someone to Congress who will fight for everyone and not put party ahead of sexism, racism and Misogyny.

Trek V Trump

By Jeff Simpson

Pretty much anyone who has ever worked on. or been a part of Star Trek, has joined together like a United Federation of Planets to beg people not to vote for Trump....

Trek Against Trump
September 29 at 11:00am
Star Trek has always offered a positive vision of the future, a vision of hope and optimism, and most importantly, a vision of inclusion, where people of all races are accorded equal respect and dignity, where individual beliefs and lifestyles are respected so long as they pose no threat to others. We cannot turn our backs on what is happening in the upcoming election. Never has there been a presidential candidate who stands in such complete opposition to the ideals of the Star Trek universe as Donald Trump. His election would take this country backward, perhaps disastrously. We need to elect a president who will move this country forward into the kind of future we all dream of: where personal differences are understood and accepted, where science overrules superstition, where people work together instead of against each other.
The resolution of conflicts on Star Trek was never easy. Don’t remain aloof –vote! We have heard people say they will vote Green or Libertarian or not at all because the two major candidates are equally flawed. That is both illogical and inaccurate. Either Secretary Clinton or Mr. Trump will occupy the White House. One is an amateur with a contemptuous ignorance of national laws and international realities, while the other has devoted her life to public service, and has deep and valuable experience with the proven ability to work with Congress to pass desperately needed legislation. If, as some say, the government is broken, a protest vote will not fix it.
Have you just turned 18? Have you moved? Have you never voted before? Some states have early registration (early October) and/or absentee ballots. You can’t vote if you are not registered. So make it so. Go tohttps://www.rockthevote.com , a non-profit, non-partisan organization, and fulfill your civic duty. Because, damn it, you are a citizen of the USA, with an obligation to take part in our democracy! Do this not merely for yourself but for all the generations that follow. Vote for a future of enlightenment and inclusion, a future that will someday lead us to the stars.
