State Office Open Thread

I started today with a quick introduction to Dan Schierl, and want to continue promoting people seeking state office.  However, I am in Dane County, and do not travel the state like I used to, so I need some help. 

Please let me know what candidates running for State Office that really impress you and why, what district they are in and who they are running against! 

Then I will try and do a more in depth look and call to action for them.   It is not about the party and time to stop worrying about them doing anything to tip the scales.  We need to take charge and win in spite of them!

Here is a partial list of people running to save the great State of WI.  If you are not on here and are an incumbent or running against someone from the Fitzwalkerstan party, it means I was unable to find your name and information in a quick search (hint hint), so please either email me your info(jeff_simpson7@yahoo.com) or leave it in the comments, and I will continue to update this post. 

For everyone else, I have tried to include links to the candidates facebook page, website and their twitter handle.  Please add them/like them on social media, tell all your friends in their districts about them and possibly, pick one or two and send them a couple bucks. 

We need a heavy dose of change in WI!

Blue Wave Causes Scott Walker To Go Into Panic Tweet Mode

Tuesday's Blue Wave crossing Wisconsin has left Scott Walker really rattled and rightfully so. Not only is he facing being homeless with a crushing personal debt in November, it will put a stop to his plans of being POTUS someday.

Walker is so rattled that he took a page from Trump's Twitter Manual and went into full fledged panic mode, sending out a handful of tweets in a matter of minutes:

Tonight’s results show we are at risk of a #BlueWave in WI. The Far Left is driven by anger & hatred -- we must counter it with optimism & organization. Let’s share our positive story with voters & win in November.

Big government special interests flooded Wisconsin with distorted facts & misinformation. Next, they'll target me and work to undo our bold reforms. We need to keep moving #WIForward & make sure a #BlueWave of outside special interest money doesn’t take us backward.

Not only are they amusing in and of themselves for revealing just how scared he is, but he inadvertently helped #BlueWave becoming a trending topic on Twitter. But then again, no one has ever accused him of being smart.

But Walker would really be better served if he started packing his bags and having someone help him dust off and update his resume. Maybe he can get a job he's truly qualified for, like being a human footstool for the Koch brothers.
