Sean Duffy Kills Gabby Giffords

Wisconsin's own "reality"TV star, turned dancer, turned lumberjack, turned Congressman, just killed a former peer without breaking a sweat.   When being pushed on why White Terrorism is not a concern but POC terrorism is something to hide behind your couch because of, Mr, Duffy, tries to save some face by pointing out that White Terrorism comes only from the Left.  

His exact line is "look at Gabby Giffords, a Marxist, a leftist took here life."  

The biggest problem with Duffy's Alternative facts is that Ms. Giffords, is very much alive.  Another problem with Mr. Duffys garbling is that Jared Lee Loughner, the person who shot Ms. Giffords, is far from a marxist, leftist.   As a matter of fact, while he was not really political, he was paranoid along the lines of our friends on the extreme right.

The director of research on hate groups for the Southern Poverty Law Center noted that Loughner's political positions were a "hallmark of the far right and the militia movement."^[44] In the aftermath of the shooting, the Anti-Defamation League reviewed messages by Loughner, and concluded that there was a "disjointed theme that runs through Loughner's writings", which was a "distrust for and dislike of the government." It "manifested itself in various ways" – for instance, in the belief that the government used the control of language and grammar to brainwash people, the notion that the government was creating "infinite currency" without the backing of gold and silver, or the assertion that NASA was faking spaceflights.

Those pesky facts.  However it is much better to be thought of us the fool he is than the unbelievable racist thing that came out of his mouth earlier(emphasis mine):

 At that point, Duffy dismisses the Oklahoma City bombing as irrelevant to the discussion because it happened 20 years ago. He argues that the past ten years have presented only rare instances of white extremists committing terrorism. In doing so, he doesn’t take Aurora, Sandy Hook, or Colorado Springs into account, and when Camerota brings up how the Charleston church shooter was a white extremist, all Duffy can do is sputter, “Yeah, h-h-h-he was, okay?”Of the Charleston massacre, Duffy then adds, “Good things came from it,” which probably was not the wisest thing to say, although he was likely only referring to Nikki Haley’s removal of the Confederate flag from the South Carolina statehouse.

9 innocent African American men and women were all executed inside a local church, simply because they had one thing in common - the color of their skin.  In Sean Duffy's world, this was a sacrifice that v     was not in vain because it forced the hand of South Carolina to finally bring down the Confederate flag.

Quick pause here.  While I understand that it is part of their heritage, it needs to be recognized as a huge black eye on their heritage(It would be like Wisconsin having a Joe McCarthy day).   There is nothing more anti American than flying the flag of a region that was traitorous and attacked their own nation.   Secondly, it appears their sacrifice was in vain, because the Confederate flag flies again in South Carolina.   Finally this was the scene in West Bend, WI when The Donald(who the MTv Congressman was one of the first supporters of)

I wonder how many people have to get shot in Wisconsin for Sean's supporters to stop flying the Confederate flag (PS: in Wisconsin, we actually FOUGHT the Confederates and over 12,000 Wisconsinites died.  When you fly the Confederate flag in WI, you celebrate their deaths not honor them!).    

Ok so when Sean Duffy, who of course has no answers but Democrats are bad....ends with this 

The lawmaker asked what could be done to address terrorism from white Americans.
"How should we vet that to keep ourselves safe? I will join you in that effort, what do you do," he asked. "It's horrible. What do we do on the white supremacy front to make sure we don't have another attack like Charleston?"

Once you get past the fact that a sitting Congressman, went on a national news program to discuss how to stop terrorism and asks the host for advice, you know that even a "bad high school student" would know the answers to this question.  
*  Stop allowing the Confederate Flag to be sold at your campaign events.   
*  Refuse to speak at these events if it is.  
*  When you flat out call someone a racist, DONT SUPPORT THEM for President!  
*  When the KKK Supports the same person you do for President, maybe rethink what your doing!
*  When you hire a white supremacist as your chief adviser, white supremacists will be empowered. 
*  When as President, you make a speech opening Black History month about yourself, then there might be a problem.  
*  When you appoint a person who has a history of racism as your Attorney General, that might empower racism.  
* When you shut down a fellow Senator who wants to read a letter from Coretta Scott King during Black History Month, you might be empowering racism.  

What amazes me, is that a Hollywood star gives a speech,asking us to be nicer to each other, while accepting a Lifetime Achievement Award,

And we get inundated with crap like this hammering us on a daily basis:

On Sunday evening, Hollywood elites gathered together to celebrate some of their favorite people — themselves! Yes, we’re talking about the Golden Globes.

Stealing the show was 30-time Globes nominee an eight-time winner, Meryl Streep, who, while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award, gave a speech none of us will soon forget. 

Streep’s predictable tantrum — complete with liberal fear-mongering and virtue-signaling — was hardly remarkable. What was striking, however, was the star’s blatant hypocrisy and implicit 

contempt for average Americans.

Liberals constantly lose elections because of saying things like:

“this instinct to humiliate, when it’s modeled by someone in the public platform, by someone powerful, it filters down into everybody’s life, ’cause it kind of gives permission for other people to do the same thing. Disrespect invites disrespect. Violence incites violence. And when the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose.” 
Yet, A sitting Congressman can talk about "all the good things" that happened when 9 African Americans were slaughtered, and how its different if you get killed by a Brown person instead of a White person and he gets re-elected?

American Exceptionalism is not the phrase we are modeling!

Walker Whiffles Dixie

Over this past weekend, when asked about the senseless killing in Charleston, South Carolina, Scott Walker boldly punted on questions regarding the Confederate flag:

"I think they're going to have a good healthy debate and should have that debate in South Carolina amongst officials at the state level," Walker told reporters after his dinner speech at the "Road to Majority" conference.

"I just think before I or anyone else weighs in on anything to do with policy, whether it's this or any other policy decisions, we should honor the dead and the families by allowing them to bury their loved ones. And then you could perfectly ask me that question at some point in the next week or two when that's done."

Walker also deferred when asked by a reporter if he viewed the Confederate flag as a symbol of racism.

Walker has since changed his mind about honoring the victims and their families and has come out in support of Governor Nikki Haley's call to finally take down the Confederate flag:

After sidestepping questions about the issue over the weekend, Gov. Scott Walker on Monday said he supports South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley's call to remove the Confederate flag from the state Capitol.

"I am glad @nikkihaley is calling for the Confederate flag to come down. I support her decision - SKW," Walker tweeted from his political account shortly after Haley called for the flag to be taken down.

The push to remove the flag comes in the wake of the racially-motivated killing of nine black worshippers in a historic Charleston church last week.

Apparently Walker also got the memo from the dark money special interest groups that this was a loser issue and not worth the battle.

On a related note, just like so many other Republicans - including Wisconsin's dumb senator, Ron Johnson - Walker received campaign donations from Earl Holt III, the leader of a white supremacist group that reportedly influenced Dylann Roof. Walker has said that he would donate the $3,500 he got from Holt to charity:

AshLee Strong, a spokeswoman for Walker’s political nonprofit, Our American Revival, said in a statement Monday that Walker will donate Holt’s contributions to charity.

Putting aside what the spokeswoman for his nonprofit is doing speaking for his campaign, I would point out to the gentle reader that this is more of Walker's mastery of subliminal racism.

If Walker was genuinely repulsed by the blatant racism of Holt and his organization, Walker would have renounced the money and returned it or burned it. By giving the money to charity, Walker is allowing Holt to retain his dignity, saying that his money went to a good cause. Likewise, it gives Walker the chance to appear that he doesn't support racism without coming out against it.

CPAC Problems

The right, that attempts to be somewhat moderate, has a problem that can be spelled out in three letters - CPAC("conservative" political action conference).  The problem is that the CPAC conference is representative of everything the republican party stands for.  From the embrace of angry Islamaphobes, to their disdain for gays to their cries of white oppression.  As Paul Ryan(R-Wall St.) says:

 "We don't hide behind our beliefs," Ryan added. "We argue for them, because a budget is more than just a list of numbers; it's an expression of our governing philosophy. And our budget draws a very sharp contrast with the left. It says to the people in unmistakable terms: 'They are the party of shared hardship, we are the part of equal opportunity.'"

While Paul Ryan(R- Wall St.), Jim Sensenbrenner(R-Lance Armstrong is a true hero) and Scott Walker (R - Blind Ambition)  were featured speakers at CPAC.   Also headlining CPAC was K.Carl Smith, who was sponsored by the "Tea Party Patriots"(remember that we recently learned what "patriot" groups stood for).  this breakout session was billed as a "way to reach out to black conservatives". Boy did they! 

Disruptions began when he started accusing Democrats of still being the party of the Confederacy — a common talking point on the right.
“I don’t care how much the KKK improved,” he said. “I’m not going to join the KKK. The Democratic Party founded the KKK.”
Lines like that drew shouts of praise from some attendees and murmurs of disapproval from one non-conservative black attendee, Kim Brown, a radio host and producer with Voice of Russia, a broadcasting service of the Russian government.
But then questions and answers began. And things went off the rails.

Yes after the attendees shouted down Ms. Brown , THEN it went off the rails.    The problem was the base was allowed to speak!  

30-year-old Scott Terry, asked whether Republicans could endorse races remaining separate but equal. After the presenter, K. Carl Smith of Frederick Douglass Republicans, answered by referencing a letter by Frederick Douglass forgiving his former master, the audience member said “For what? For feeding him and housing him?” Several people in the audience cheered and applauded Terry’s outburst.

After the exchange, Terry muttered under his breath, “why can’t we just have segregation?” noting the Constitution’s protections for freedom of association. Watch it:

After contacting the Walker, Ryan and Sensenbrenner camps we have their official denouncements HERE! 

You can not be at an organized event with such dripping racism and NOT denounce it unless of course you agree with it(or need it agree with it to survive politically).  

This all shows how Scott Walkers rejection of Federal health care money and Jerry Baders failed attempt to connect with the Scott Terry's of the world and raise his low profile, all fit together.  

When you want to continue to advance in today's republican party you need the base support!

The problem is, how do you explain this disgusting behavior when you then have to face the rest of the country?
