Sean Duffy Kills Gabby Giffords

By Jeff Simpson

Wisconsin's own "reality"TV star, turned dancer, turned lumberjack, turned Congressman, just killed a former peer without breaking a sweat.   When being pushed on why White Terrorism is not a concern but POC terrorism is something to hide behind your couch because of, Mr, Duffy, tries to save some face by pointing out that White Terrorism comes only from the Left.

His exact line is "look at Gabby Giffords, a Marxist, a leftist took here life."

The biggest problem with Duffy's Alternative facts is that Ms. Giffords, is very much alive.  Another problem with Mr. Duffys garbling is that Jared Lee Loughner, the person who shot Ms. Giffords, is far from a marxist, leftist.   As a matter of fact, while he was not really political, he was paranoid along the lines of our friends on the extreme right.

The director of research on hate groups for the Southern Poverty Law Center noted that Loughner's political positions were a "hallmark of the far right and the militia movement."[44] In the aftermath of the shooting, the Anti-Defamation League reviewed messages by Loughner, and concluded that there was a "disjointed theme that runs through Loughner's writings", which was a "distrust for and dislike of the government." It "manifested itself in various ways" – for instance, in the belief that the government used the control of language and grammar to brainwash people, the notion that the government was creating "infinite currency" without the backing of gold and silver, or the assertion that NASA was faking spaceflights.

Those pesky facts.  However it is much better to be thought of us the fool he is than the unbelievable racist thing that came out of his mouth earlier(emphasis mine):

At that point, Duffy dismisses the Oklahoma City bombing as irrelevant to the discussion because it happened 20 years ago. He argues that the past ten years have presented only rare instances of white extremists committing terrorism. In doing so, he doesn’t take Aurora, Sandy Hook, or Colorado Springs into account, and when Camerota brings up how the Charleston church shooter was a white extremist, all Duffy can do is sputter, “Yeah, h-h-h-he was, okay?”Of the Charleston massacre, Duffy then adds, “Good things came from it,” which probably was not the wisest thing to say, although he was likely only referring to Nikki Haley’s removal of the Confederate flag from the South Carolina statehouse.
reread these words very very slowly:

Good.  Things.   Came.  Of.   It!??

9 innocent African American men and women were all executed inside a local church, simply because they had one thing in common - the color of their skin.  In Sean Duffy's world, this was a sacrifice that v     was not in vain because it forced the hand of South Carolina to finally bring down the Confederate flag.

Quick pause here.  While I understand that it is part of their heritage, it needs to be recognized as a huge black eye on their heritage(It would be like Wisconsin having a Joe McCarthy day).   There is nothing more anti American than flying the flag of a region that was traitorous and attacked their own nation.   Secondly, it appears their sacrifice was in vain, because the Confederate flag flies again in South Carolina.   Finally this was the scene in West Bend, WI when The Donald(who the MTv Congressman was one of the first supporters of)
I wonder how many people have to get shot in Wisconsin for Sean's supporters to stop flying the Confederate flag (PS: in Wisconsin, we actually FOUGHT the Confederates and over 12,000 Wisconsinites died.  When you fly the Confederate flag in WI, you celebrate their deaths not honor them!).

Ok so when Sean Duffy, who of course has no answers but Democrats are bad....ends with this

The lawmaker asked what could be done to address terrorism from white Americans.
"How should we vet that to keep ourselves safe? I will join you in that effort, what do you do," he asked. "It's horrible. What do we do on the white supremacy front to make sure we don't have another attack like Charleston?"

Once you get past the fact that a sitting Congressman, went on a national news program to discuss how to stop terrorism and asks the host for advice, you know that even a "bad high school student" would know the answers to this question.
*  Stop allowing the Confederate Flag to be sold at your campaign events.
*  Refuse to speak at these events if it is.
*  When you flat out call someone a racist, DONT SUPPORT THEM for President!
*  When the KKK Supports the same person you do for President, maybe rethink what your doing!
*  When you hire a white supremacist as your chief adviser, white supremacists will be empowered.
*  When as President, you make a speech opening Black History month about yourself, then there might be a problem.
*  When you appoint a person who has a history of racism as your Attorney General, that might empower racism.
* When you shut down a fellow Senator who wants to read a letter from Coretta Scott King during Black History Month, you might be empowering racism.

What amazes me, is that a Hollywood star gives a speech, asking us to be nicer to each other, while accepting a Lifetime Achievement Award,

And we get inundated with crap like this hammering us on a daily basis:

On Sunday evening, Hollywood elites gathered together to celebrate some of their favorite people — themselves! Yes, we’re talking about the Golden Globes.
Stealing the show was 30-time Globes nominee an eight-time winner, Meryl Streep, who, while accepting the Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award, gave a speech none of us will soon forget.
Streep’s predictable tantrum — complete with liberal fear-mongering and virtue-signaling — was hardly remarkable. What was striking, however, was the star’s blatant hypocrisy and implicit
contempt for average Americans.

Liberals constantly lose elections because of saying things like:

“this instinct to humiliate, when it’s modeled by someone in the public platform, by someone powerful, it filters down into everybody’s life, ’cause it kind of gives permission for other people to do the same thing. Disrespect invites disrespect. Violence incites violence. And when the powerful use their position to bully others, we all lose.”
Yet, A sitting Congressman can talk about "all the good things" that happened when 9 African Americans were slaughtered, and how its different if you get killed by a Brown person instead of a White person and he gets re-elected?

American Exceptionalism is not the phrase we are modeling!

Kelly Rindfleisch Was Right!

By Jeff Simpson

While Capper weighed in this morning with his take, I needed to also post on these flurry of emails.   After reading some, and going through others, and watching the news stories, and reading comments, etc..  I have come to realize that Kelly Rindfleisch, as despicable of a human being as she is, is right!

No One Cares...

Let's look at a couple examples....

“No one cares about crazy people,” aide Kelly Rindfleisch wrote in response to an email about criticism Walker was facing from his political opponent, Tom Barrett, over problems at Milwaukee County’s mental health center.
• An email from Kelly Teelin, a paralegal at GOP go-to law firm Michael Best & Friedrich, forwarded a joke email picturing four dogs the writer said were set to receive public assistance because they “are mixed in color, unemployed, lazy, can’t speak English and have no frigging clue who their Daddys are.”
“That is hilarious. And so true!” Rindfleisch replied.
• Walker’s top aide in the county executive’s office, Tom Nardelli, forwarded a message in brightly colored lettering about the “nightmare” of waking up “black, Jewish, gay with a Mexican boyfriend, drug addict and HIV-positive” — and a Democrat.

 And:

The night that a concrete slab at a Milwaukee County parking structure collapsed, killing a 15-year-old boy, Nardelli emailed Walker and copied Gilkes, Rindfleisch and Archer about a reporter asking about an audit showing deferred maintenance on the structure.
Gilkes responded: “We need to have that pinpointed in the audit. … This is what the press will focus on exclusively tomorrow — we will need to fully refute it with all documentation possible on it.”
Walker responded: “Yes.”

The Walker team looked at rape in a county facility, and the crushing to death of a 15 year old boy, not as tragedies, but as a pain in the ass to the Walker's political ambitions.   I used to be outraged at this (see here) but now I realize they were right.

Since the horrible death of a 15 year old boy and a rape at a poorly run mental health care facility failed to move the needle in Scott Walker's campaign at all while it happened, I do not expect it to do so now.

We have thousands of pages of proof that Scott Walker and his staff knowingly broke the law, that Scott Walker was in on it the whole time, the disdain they have for anyone who is not or can not help them gain a political advantage and as a team their only objective, no matter who they were working for, was to make Scott Walker look good(no easy task).

Yet I doubt he has even dropped a point in the polls.   How does a free society that values democracy and Honors our Forefathers and Founders, and goes to Church on Sunday, think that the Scott Walker we met yesterday is ok?

Seriously, 33rd District of Wisconsin? Seriously!?!?!?!

By Jeff Simpson

Let's get real District 33 of Wisconsin:

*  If you are at a party, and you saw Steve nASS walk in, you would deny knowing him.

*  If Steve nASS walked up to talk to you, you would make small talk while thinking about the best way to get to an exit.

*   If Steve nASS was at your family reunion, you would make sure to always be in a different room.

*  If Steve nASS is in church before you, you sit on the other side.

Then Steve nASS says stuff like this:

Steve nASS is also the main sponsor of the ‘most racist legislation of the current generation.’

Let's face it, you are completely embarrassed by Steve nASS.....So why do you keep electing him?

Just Stop It!

Medicare Rejection Motivation

By Jeff Simpson

By now, everyone knows that Governor Scott Walker and his crony Dennis Smith worked together to reject $37 million in federal health insurance money to build a health insurance exchange as a state and turned it back to the Federal government.   This, besides showing the republicans hypocrisy when it comes to states rights, was predicted to cause thousands of Wisconsinites to be unable to afford healthcare and seriously harm small businesses.

Well as predicted, it does hurt small business. Tremendously.

Governors who refuse to expand their Medicaid programs for the poor may cost employers in their states as much as $1.3 billion in federal fines, a study found.

A clause in the 2010 health-care overhaul penalizes some employers when their workers aren’t able to obtain affordable medical coverage through the company. Employers can avoid those fees if their workers qualify for Medicaid as part of an expansion that as many as 22 states have rejected, according to a report today by Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc.

Without Medicaid, a “shared responsibility” payment of as much as $3,000 may be triggered for each employee who can’t get insurance through their company. In Texas, the largest state to refuse to increase Medicaid, employers may be liable for as much as $448 million in fines, the study found. In Florida, where the legislature has refused an expansion supported by Governor Rick Scott, employers may pay as much as $219 million.

Once again, Scott Walker's attempt to play to his hard right tea party base is costing small business in WI dearly

I have often said that politicians are still subject to moments of candor,  we can occasionally look at their actions listen to their words and see EXACTLY what their motivations are.

In this case, we see that with Scott Walker spending so much time in Iowa, he is even having a fundraiser there this weekend, that he is gearing up to run for President in 2016.   Using this context, and buried in the news, is the real reason why Scott Walker rejected the Medicaid money and is willing to give our small businesses a $1.3 Billion Burden.

South Carolina republican House Member Kris Crawford had a rare moment of clarity that explained it all perfectly:

Well we knew this is what Republicans thought in their minds, but it’s never been verbalized quite so blatantly. South Carolina House member Kris Crawford said in an interview while discussing Medicaid expansion for the uninsured, “It is good politics to oppose the black guy in the White House right now, especially for the Republican Party.”

There you have it!
