The Troupis Dump

By Jeff Simpson

It has been a time honored, bipartisan tradition, that when politicians are actually embarrassed by the things they are doing, they wait until Friday afternoon to announce it.  THis is because our lazy complaint media cares more about getting the weekend started than scrutinizing said politician.   If you are really embarrassed, than you wait until the Friday of a Holiday weekend,

Our very own Scott Walker has become the master at this news dump and the Friday before Memorial Day 2015 could have been his master dump. As Capper covered the other day,  Walker appointed a bunch of political hacks and unqualified people to some very important positions.

Probably the most egregious is appointing Republican lawyer and Wisconsin taxpayer leech Jim Troupis to a judgeship in Dane County.

Walker's other politically appointed judge is Attorney Jim Troupis to Dane County Circuit Court:
Attorney Jim Troupis has been appointed to fill the seat of retiring Dane County Circuit Judge John C. Albert and will serve until August 2016. Troupis’ appointment comes seven weeks after a committee and group of advisers that vet judicial hopefuls rejected all four applicants for the job.

Those applicants were: state Assistant Attorney General Devra Ayala, state Assistant Public Defender David Klauser, criminal defense attorney John Hyland and Madison attorney and UW-Madison adjunct professor of law Nick Schweitzer.

Hyland, who said in his interview that he had signed the 2012 recall petition against Walker, plans to run for the seat next April and has formed a campaign committee.

Troupis was a partner at the Madison law firm of Michael Best & Friedrich before starting his own law firm in 2010. He worked with Republican legislators during their redistricting of the state following the 2010 census and also represented state Supreme Court Justice David Prosser in the recount of the 2011 election.

Even if you have not heard of attorney Jim Troupis, you have been paying him for his work handsomely.   While taking no bids, the Wisconsin taxpayers have been paying Mr. Troupis $395/hr to defend Scott Walker in court(which keeps Jim very busy).

Paying Mr. Troupis so well, you would think you would get high quality work for the public good from him.   You would be wrong.   Troupis was waste deep in the unethical filth that was the Republicans Redistricting    gerrymandering of our state.  Even though it was done by a handful of extreme right wing ideologues, they could not even stand Mr. Troupis.

McLeod then added, "I think Tad and (especially) Adam have Jim's 'number,' as my parents generation would say. He's hurt himself in this engagment. Given enough 'rope' he'll do further damage to himself as time goes by."
Plus they illegally withheld emails, that they were court ordered to turn over.  I wonder if judge Troupis will think its OK to blatantly ignore a court order?

Troupis also has contempt for his new peers, as he had this to say when Judge Sumi was purported to be considering a run at the State Supreme Court:

Troupis was disappointed Judge Sumi is considering a run. "It's obvious she was talked into it because of Act 10," Troupis said. "It should be about competence and qualifications, and clearly the only purpose of her running is to open that pro-union stuff."

Who does this guy get along with?  Well hate radio's own cop hitter, Vicki Mckenna for one.  They even went on a "Freedom Pervasion" tour of the state together.

That is of course, when he is not busy taking trips around the world.  He thanks you for the money to be able to take such an extravagant trip!

The most ridiculous part of Troupis' career though, would be when the 14 Senators left Wisconsin to slow down the passage of ACT 10.   Jim Troupis gave legal cover to Scott Fitzgerald to try and have democratically elected representatives arrested.   Seriously.

But James Troupis, an attorney for Fitzgerald, said rounding up the senators is legal under a constitutional provision that allows the Senate to enforce its own rules, including mandatory attendance. That section allows each house to "compel the attendance of absent members."

Troupis insisted the detention is not an arrest because the senators are not suspected of any crimes. Rather, he said, the resolution seeks to enforce a legislative process.
"The Legislature has its own powers - that's the principle here," he said. "The constitution is quite explicit in providing our Legislature with independent authority."

But the distinction between "arrest" and "detention" was lost on a pair of Madison attorneys who are active in Democratic politics who said the state constitution provides an absolute bar against legislators being arrested for non-criminal offenses.

In an open letter to the Senate, Madison attorneys Lester Pines and Susan Crawford said "none of the fourteen absent Senators has been charged with a crime. Nor has any crime occurred. The Wisconsin Senate has absolutely no authority to order any of its members arrested or taken into custody in order to compel their attendance."

At least the irony is strong, when someone can  illegally and ridiculously try and have sitting elected officials "detained" then go on a "History of Freedom" tour around the state.

Troupis/Fitzgerald, actually sent State Troopers to the homes of the 14 Senators.  Wonder what other Government officials have sent police to the homes of their political opposition to have them detained in our History?

Apparently Troupis feels the need to be in Wisconsin at your job, does not apply to Scott Walker.

Troupis tried to become a Federal Judge in 2007, under his old client George W Bush, but was soundly rejected.   Even the cronyism of Dubya could not see fit to giving Troupis more power.

Another question that needs to be answered, is why would Dave Blaska have the Troupis appointment information two days before Scott Walker dumped on the people of Wisconsin?

Congratulations #2 — to Dane County’s newest judge, Jim Troupis.

Right Wing Blogger Blaska Wishes Violence On Hillary Clinton

By Jeff Simpson

Hillary Clinton especially, but women in general have always had it harder than men when it comes to people disagreeing with them.    Now it seems as though Madison right wing blogger Dave Blaska wishes Ms. Clinton were no longer with us(and his good friends jumped right on that bandwagon).

Instead of celebrating the fact that a woman has a legitimate chance to be the President of the United States of America for the first time, Mr. Blaska decided to make an ass of himself.

While many will see this as a joke the fact is that this is a threat of violence being typed on Facebook by someone who is often in the public eye.  It is one thing to openly post disagreements you have with your elected officials, it a completely different thing to turn those disagreements into potential violence, even if the intent was to be comical. After all you never know who is reading the thread.

Michael Grebe Jumps The Shark!

By Jeff Simpson  - Cross Posted from Purple WI

Michael Grebe has had a few different positions in his career.  One of those positions, was running the Scott Walker campaigns in 2010 and again in 2012(yes, the 2012 election campaign that is at the center of the John Doe 2 investigation).
Michael Grebe, is currently President and CEO of the Bradley Foundation.  The Bradley Foundation, and Mr. Grebe fund some of the farthest right wing organizations and "news"(term used loosely) organizations there are in Wisconsin. Some examples of the long list:
The MacIver Foundation;
The Franklin Center which runs the poorly named Wisconsin Reporter;
Wisconsin Policy Research Institute(WPRI) - which actually employs Charley Sykes as an editor(seriously)!
-The inexplicably named,  WILL  - Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty run by fellow "purple blogger" Rick Esenberg.
WILL and Mr. Esenberg have been busy lately.   While it is important to note, that Mr. Esenberg is NOT an employee of the Bradley Foundation, he ONLY receives the vast majority of his funding from them.   If there is anything that we have learned recently from our friends on the right, it is that hundreds of thousands of dollars of contributions do not even phase them.   They just want Liberty!!
Of course, it is just coincidence that the organization, that is funded by someone who spends millions of dollars working towards the privatization of public schools,  keeps suing public schools.
Milwaukee organization WILL, has already shown their disdain for local control and democratically elected school boards by suing the Kenosha School District.  While racking up legal bills for the district, the original lawsuit was at a standstill until some new school board members were elected.  It took a tie breaking vote, by the step father of the plaintiffto settle this lawsuit that was going nowhere and handing tens of thousands of dollars to Mr. Esenberg
I do find it interesting, that the person suing to "protect" the local taxpayer from the democratically elected school board negotiating with their employees,  charged the local taxpayers more money per hour than a teacher could ever dream of making.
Back to the story, because now The Professor is at it again.   This time he has bitten off more than he can chew.
Milwaukee organization, WILL and Mr. Esenberg have decided to find a local stooge and sue the Madison School District for negotiating with their employees, while ACT 10 was stayed.
There is a special twist here though, Mary Burke, the person leading Scott Walker in the polls, happens to be a current member of the Madison School Board.  Even though Rick Esenberg is funded by former Walker campaign chairman, no political games at all here, Mr. Esenberg is just worried about the taxpayers of Dane County.   Well not everyone agrees with that:
WILL is not likely to prevail in court, Marquette University Law School professor Paul Secunda told the Wisconsin State Journal. “They negotiated their current contract when the fate of Act 10 was still up in the air,” said Secunda, who also accused Esenberg of “trying to make political points.”
Heck even the plaintiff gets giddy when he talks about suing Mary Burke:
“This wasn’t aimed at Mary Burke, but it’s a happy coincidence,” said Blaska.

“The Madison School Board is operating as if Act 10 were not in effect,” Blaska said. “They had the opportunity to reduce the tax load on the people – but the teachers are always first in line.”

While going up against a school board that actually stands for educating the children and not ideological warriors(and no direct relatives of Mr. Blaska's on the board), Mr. Esenberg will find that they do not roll over so easily.

In the meantime, the lawyer from Milwaukee will do all he can to keep running up legal bills for the Dane County taxpayers!

Mr. Grebe's and his "non" employee, have truly jumped the shark here!   It is time to let them know  to stop playing political games with our chidlren's money!

One last piece of housecleaning, yes the Madison School Board did recently sit down and negotiate a new agreement with their teachers.   What are Mr. Blaska and Mr. Esenberg pretending to protect the taxpayers of Dane County from?  The teachers and the district negotiated a .25% raise.   For those of you scoring at home that is an average of approximately $125.00 for the year.

Does the person you trust your children's future with, deserve a raise worth $125.00 for the year?

Maybe Mr. Esenberg needs to rethink whtat he word "protect" means!

It is also time to rethink voting for someone who would so disgracefully continue to attack public schools!

Dave Blaska Lied To His Readers

By Jeff Simpson

Both of you were lied too!   Dave Blaska, who writes a column for ibmadison.com, ran a couple of poorly written columns about who he felt his " progressive heroes" were for 2013!

Yours truly actually made the list

Jeff Simpson: The Monona Grove School Board member, teachers union sergeant major, and character assassin inaccurately insists on slandering school choice advocate Scott Jensen as a “convicted felon,” even though that conviction was vacated by a higher court.
and he had a poll, allowing his few readers to vote for theirs, with this caveat:

Blaska reports. You decide! (Hey, I like that!) The nominations are in; now vote for your favorite progressive/liberal of 2013. The winner WILL be notified!

Last I looked, I was winning and I have NOT been notified!

I Can't Hear You?

By Jeff Simpson

Potential Gubernatorial Candidate and Madison School Board Member Mary Burke, when she found out that the Madison school's hit with the maximum cut under Scott Walker's Draconian, ALEC inspired far right budget, thought it might be best to scale back the district's proposed 1.5% pay increase to their staff!

This, as you can imagine, made the righties giddy.  They love it when working people make less money.  Like here, where Dave Blaska, whines about a 1.5% pay raise for teachers and somehow ties it to General Augusto Pinochet's biggest fan Margaret Thatcher(yes it makes no sense to me either).

Ok I get it they are "fiscal conservatives", as Blaska wrongly puts it(when speaking of the potential Madison School Board tax hike):

Any company that hiked prices by 7.4% would meet massive customer resistance unless it faced a shortage caused by some natural disaster.

(Edit note: 1. Schools are not companies(nor do they want schools to act like companies they just use it as a stupid talking point), 2.  Companies raise prices all the time and shrink services(do you pay attention to the Canadian twinkies you just bought and handed out to your 8 friends?) 3.  When you need to use the service/product you have no choice when it goes up(have you seen gas prices lately?) 4.  Public workers, while performing services for the PUBLIC, already make less than private workers! 5. HOWEVER for the sake of this argument we will take Blaska at his word).

So Mary Burke, David Blaska and a host of others think that we should scale back public service pay because we are "broke".

Now let's take a look at how "broke" we are:

1.  Capitol Police Chief Erwin and his top Deputy Dan Blackdeer, were each transferred to a "dummy job" with the DOA and then back to their position at a HEFTY pay raise of over 11%!

Any word on this from Blaska or Burke?

2.  Cynthia Archer, who had her front door ram rodded in by the FBI in the John DOe Investigation, was recently awarded with a sweet state job for the state making $101,510/yr with Cadillac benefits and luckily beat out 29 other people for this position.   While, yes Cynthia Archer was never charged, subsequent e-mail releases showed us that at the very least she is highly unethical, if not fully a criminal.

Yoo hoo....David?

3.   The Governors (ALEC) inspired idea to get rid of the publicly accountable Department of Commerce and replace it with the Wisconsin Economic Development Committee(WEDC), of which he named himself as chair, has LOST over $57,000,000 dollars of taxpayer money.  The Governor recently and secretly gave WEDC secretary Reed Hall a 50% pay raise.

Anyone, anyone .... Bueller?

4.  Joe Knilans and Nancy Mistele, both failed republican candidates, were awarded for their failure by Scott Walker with jobs making $82,000 a year running the Office of Business Development in the Department of Administration.  This used to be a one person job, now its two cronies making big money to do the job of one.

5.  The Department of Administration, under the horrible guidance of Mike Huebsch, spends thousands of dollars a month washing washable sidewalk chalk off sidewalks.   Honestly!

And the list goes on and on and on in Scott Walker's Wisconsin.  All to deafening silence from the "fiscal conservatives".

Now I understand why Blaska parrots and covers for the righties.  He got his pension and state pay and wants to make sure no one else does.   While I do not understand the hypocrisy, ignorance and selfishness, I do get it.

I also do not expect Mary Burke to be the leader on standing up to all of this abuse, UNLESS, she wants to be run for Governor.   If so then the only story I can find on her doing a google search should NOT be that she wants to cut teacher pay again!   She needs to take an active and vocal leadership role ....YESTERDAY!

I also do not hold Burke solely accountable for this.....where is Chris Larson, Peter Barca, Cory Mason, Kathleen Vinehout, et al...  If you want to be our next Governor(and I would prefer that you become Governor in 2014), then it is time to stop the backroom discussion and step up front and center!

Wisconsin needs you!

These people are waiting to hear from you!

Thanks Dave!

By Jeff Simpson

Yesterday, Dave Blaska, part of the new era of "conservatives", felt that the best way to petition the government was ask for their permission to do so, THEN go where and when they were told, and sing their praises! Blaska, who the news shows could not give enough airtime too, was able to prove his points perfectly!  Unfortunately for Blaska, the point he proved was not the one he was going for!

Let's start with the arrest.

Photo: This man was arrested around 3:30pm EST in the Wisconsin State Capitol for holding a sign that read, "Article 1, Section 4." The sign said that, and nothing more.

Article 1 Section 4 of the Wisconsin State Constitution reads as follows: "The right of the people peaceably to assemble, to consult for the common good, and to petition the government, or any department thereof, shall never be abridged."

Cognitive dissonance is dissonant.

This unnamed man was arrested for SILENTLY holding a sign that read simply - "Article 1, Section 4."
Not only was he alone holding the sign, the letters on the sign did not reach the 20 member threshhold.  Yet he was arrested and hauled away in handcuffs.  YEs - HAULED AWAY IN HANDCUFFS.   Proving that what gets you arrested is NOT  not getting a permit but instead saying something that the PArty Leader does not want to hear(or read).

FYI:

Article 1 Section 4 of the Wisconsin State Constitution reads as follows: "The right of the people peaceably to assemble, to consult for the common good, and to petition the government, or any department thereof, shall never be abridged."

Secondly, Blaska  tried to have radio personality Sly Sylvester arrested for asking him a simple question!

Dave how do you like your state funded pension?

See Dave Blaska is a former elected official and state worker.  You pay his pension.  YOU pay for him to be able to run around the state and do childish pranks in the name of Scott Walker.  YOU pay for him to have numerous forums to talk about how horrible it is that YOU one day will be getting a pension!   Dave has never offered to give a penny back on his state funded pension, see unlike YOU he earned his.

Apparently once you take out a permit you decide who can and can not be in the Capitol and what they will be doing.  An hour's worth of power must have been all consuming for Blaska!  It is nice that we have three police agencies spending time at the Capitol, its not like they have anything else they can be doing.    It is more important that we keep the police in Madison to make sure Scott Walker or Dave Blaska's feeling never get hurt!   It's only tax dollars, its not like they have to pay for it!

Unforrtunately, the one person NOT arrested was this republican thug!

As is the theme for this blog, BUT wait there's more:  While never being overly creative, the right decided the best way to prove a point was to sing thinly veiledracist hateful silly songs (badly I might add):

But WAIT, There's more.   It appears that Mr. Blaska was giving out twinkies to participants!  I will give Dave the benefit of the doubt in that I am sure he was making a political statement and not judging his peers.
Blaska’s event lasted about a half hour, after which he handed out Twinkies to celebrate “American resilience.”
Lets take a look at what Twinkies "celebrates", which is everything that the republican party loves!

*   Corporate greed

*   Unemployed Americans

*    Misperception and Lies from the right to push an agenda

*   Corporations giving you less for more money

*   Jobs outsourced

*   Sh*t food!

I always say that when people tell us who they are, we should listen!

Yesterday David Blaska and the modern day Wisconsin "conservatives(term used very loosely)" spoke volumes!

PS: Want to know whats wrong with Wisconsin?  Today on WKOW Wake Up Wisconsin, Blaska received about 6-10 minutes an hour of TV time, Wisconsin Ride for Kids was afforded a whole two minutes!

Nuff' Said!

Sanctimonious Salamanders

By Jeff Simpson

Yesterday we brought you the pure unadulterated hypocrisy of the Governor and the Journal Sentinel showing unbelievable outrage towards Ryan Braun for lying to the public.

Today, as expected, there is so much more.

1.  We start at the top with the biggest hack in Wisconsin - Christian Schneider:

Even after getting popped, Braun has apparently learned nothing, as his prepared statement on Monday was equally smarmy and oleaginous. "I realize now that I have made some mistakes," he wrote, as if some mad scientist cooked up the concepts of "lying" and "cheating" in a test tube last week. "I am willing to accept the consequences of those actions."

But Monday's revelations about Braun expose him as a thief as well as a liar and a cheat. And his burgling of home runs and salary alike could affect baseball in Milwaukee for a decade.
Not ONLY is Schneider, a servant of the Bradley Foundation, he is a known liar, who was one of the most viciferous conduits of misinformation in the Kyle Wood fiasco.   Yet his way of a mea culpa when Wood was exposed as a fraud was to delete all stories pretending it did not happen.   Mark Pocan and his husband are still waiting for a public apology!   I wont even get into his defense of a well known woman abuser!

2,   Another Bradley servant, Kevin Binversie who thinks the biggest thing to come out of the Braun suspension is it makes the democrats look bad.

 a) Will state Democrats try to embarrass themselves as they did last year, when they tried to pull the Braun saga into the Walker recall?  (Time will tell.)
This of course is the same Kevin Binversie whounexplicably libeled and smeared a fellow blogger, and championed shooting recall petitioners and wished for the death of Mark Pocan.

 3.   Finally Dave Blaska, took time out from venerating daily his love for Scott Walker, to tell us how bad Ryan Braun is.

The real gravamen of the case against Ryan Braun is the lying, the dishonesty. Ryan Braun is a liar.
Say Whaaa???

4.  Jimmy Wigderson, no preview of his post because I morally cant support White Wisconsin, another Bradley Employee also weighed in!

The Foibles of the ridiculous James Wigderson are well documented, here and here!   It appears that his hypocrisy is the only thing that exceeds his lies or his ego!

These four talking about Ryan Braun being a liar, would be akin to Kim Kardashian tweeting "NO Justice" after the George Zimmerman was declared not guilty for hunting down an unarmed boy!

The Sanctimonious Hypocrisy of the right, gets wearing at times!

Love, Hate or Satire?

By Jeff Simpson

I need a little help from our readers!   I recently posted this blog on Forward Lookout, another blog I use for more Dane County happenings.   Where I pointed out that this sums up why I left the Catholic church:

http://www.forwardlookout.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/BishopVickiSchm.jpg

Like Clockwork, Dave Blaska came to Vicki Mckenna's defense(apparently she is unable too) and in our discussion,  I pointed out that when she organized her rabid supporters to show up in New Berlin and hand out pacifies to teachers who wanted a say in their workplace, that showed the hatred and vitriol that Vicki Mckenna(Pyzinski) exhibits on a daily basis.  Also that the Bishop of the Catholic church should follow Jesus's teachings and not support this kind of hatred.

Mr. B said it was not hatred at all but "satire"

I will let you decide

Hatred or Satire?

Blaska, Wigderson And Kleefisch All Agree: Monthly BLS Numbers Are The Ones To Use

On a tip from a reader, we find that some of the staunchest supporters of Scott Walker unanimously agree that the job numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics are the ones to use.

David Blaska:
The good news: Wisconsin added 12,900 private sector jobs in June -- the largest single-month gain (PDF) since September 2003. What's more, our Badger State accounted for half the new jobs created in the entire Obama-stricken nation, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported.
James Wigderson (and subsequently, MacIver Institute):
Wisconsin, you’re among workers.

According to the latest Labor Department statistics, Wisconsin added 9,500 net jobs last month using seasonally adjusted numbers. In the private sector, 12,900 jobs were created, the largest one-month gain since September 2003, the first year of former Governor Jim Doyle’s administration.

Manufacturing continued seeing job growth with 800 more jobs added in June.. That’s 14,100 new manufacturing jobs created this year.

Listening to some of Governor Scott Walker’s critics you would think the news is somehow bad news for the governor, or that these numbers from the federal Department of Labor are somehow made up.
And last, but least, Rebecca Kleefisch, Walker's lieutenant governor (even though she was no this first choice):
When Gov. Scot Walker told me what the new labor numbers would say, there was no mistaking the significance: Wisconsin is open for business and the numbers put an exclamation point on our omnipresent slogan.

The outrageously good news came on the heels of concern. Our Department of Workforce Development Secretary, Scott Baumbach, had warned us that the nation’s financial woes would almost certainly trickle into Wisconsin’s job growth numbers this summer: the tremendous pace with which Wisconsin was growing jobs might hit a speed bump, he said. The secretary didn’t want us to be disappointed if there was a minor setback on the road to success.

But then the numbers were released, and there were 12,900 net new jobs in Wisconsin last month. It was one more endorsement of the tough, smart decisions that have made Wisconsin uniquely attractive to job creators.
Walker should take note. If his biggest supporters, even his own second in command doesn't believe his numbers, he probably shouldn't have tried something so desperate.

And no, I don't believe these three would have changed their minds just because the numbers don't say what they'd like them to say. Why, that would make them almost as hypocritical as Walker!

Who The Hell Is David Blaska And Why Is He Talking?

I've heard of David Blaska before, of course.  He's some lame right wing Patrick McIlheran wannabe that writes for the Isthmus.  (It must be some kind of sympathy thing - they felt sorry for the boy and so gave him a spot in order that he can prove to a larger percentage of the population that he is indeed a major dolt.)  But to be honest, he's such a doofus that I don't go out of my way to read his drivel.  I figured that the impeccable Emily Mills is more than able to skewer him from time to time.

But once in a blue moon one of his posts comes to my attention.  Even less frequently does it have the power to remain in one's memory for more than a fleeting instance.

Today was one of the one in a million occasions.

Blaska, in an amazing fit of misogyny, decided to try to do a hit piece on my friend, Lisa Mux.  Just as his post is rich in misogyny, it is equally light in facts and truth.

You see, Lisa wrote a post condemning the New Berlin School Board for what was nothing but the exercise of despotic behavior by a group of small-minded people.  Apparently, Blaska was offended by Lisa pointing out that there were parts to the new handbook passed by the school board that only served as an effort to demean the teachers and break their spirit.  How demotivated teachers are supposed to perform better is beyond me.

Blaska starts out by referring to Lisa as a dinosaur and a Waukesha teacher.  Neither of those statements are anywhere near the truth, but Blaska is obviously unconcerned what the reality of the situation is, since he avoids that at all costs. But this post isn't really about defending Lisa, since she's got more talent in her little finger that Blaska will ever possess in his life.

What caught my eye was this quip by the ill-informed Blaska:
She is outraged that school boards -- chosen by the people in free elections -- have been liberated to actually set policy. Just this week the school board in New Berlin, Wis., did so unanimously, to the evident approval of the citizens of their community and perhaps unilaterally, although other school districts have voluntarily involved teachers without giving up their statutory authority.
Throughout the rest of the blog he echoed much the same theme.  Blaska seems to believe that New Berliners, or the outside agitators that pretended to be New Berliners, is representative of the rest of the state.

But is New Berlin really the yardstick the rest of the state should be held up to?

Let's take a look at a few of the most recent stories involving that town.

First, we find that New Berliners apparently like to fling food like monkeys fling poo. To get a real sense of this guy's mentality, the story points out that a young man who was mad because his pizza was delivered cold.   The reason it was cold was because he ordered the pizza for pick up and not delivery. So he drives to the restaurant to commit assault with a pizza and some breadsticks because he couldn't order a pizza correctly.

Secondly, New Berlin had to be taken to court in order to allow affordable housing to be built in their town.  They apparently don't wish to be bothered with the riff raff of society, like the elderly, the poor or the working class.  Poor babies will have to deal with these people now.

And finally, the self-admitted racist leader of the upcoming neo-nazi rally, scheduled to happen this weekend in West Allis, comes from New Berlin.

I can say that I don't personally know any pizza-flingers, class-conscious snobs or neo-nazis, so I wouldn't say that they're exactly mainstream.  Then again, I'm sure I don't hang around in the same circles as Blaska, so maybe that's why he sees violence, tantrums  and racism as normal behavior while the rest of the state sees it as abhorrent, loathsome and something to be shunned.

And for the record, I'd rather stand proudly with the teachers and good people like Lisa any day of the week than spend one minute with an asocial miscreant like Blaska.  But, then again, I also have self-respect.
