Right Wing Blogger Blaska Wishes Violence On Hillary Clinton

By Jeff Simpson

Hillary Clinton especially, but women in general have always had it harder than men when it comes to people disagreeing with them.    Now it seems as though Madison right wing blogger Dave Blaska wishes Ms. Clinton were no longer with us(and his good friends jumped right on that bandwagon).

Instead of celebrating the fact that a woman has a legitimate chance to be the President of the United States of America for the first time, Mr. Blaska decided to make an ass of himself.

While many will see this as a joke the fact is that this is a threat of violence being typed on Facebook by someone who is often in the public eye.  It is one thing to openly post disagreements you have with your elected officials, it a completely different thing to turn those disagreements into potential violence, even if the intent was to be comical. After all you never know who is reading the thread.

  2. Gee, if "comical" pictures showing GOP candidates dead and gloating about it were distributed widely, I wonder how long it would take the right/wrong wing to angrily demand law enforcement (and Secret Service) investigation....

    1. GOP candidates, of course, are far more comical alive and brain-dead as they normally go around giving idiotic gaffe-ridden speeches: the corrupt one, the nepotistic one, the one with phony credentials, the narcissist, the smug kid,... was there anyone else?

    2. In fact, that snippet of blue text ("While many will see this as a joke") is a link to the Wisconsin Daily Independent's decrying the volunteer fire chief of Amherst for saying "Hit him with a shovel!" about Wanker — and in the comments you can see conservatives calling for his firing....

      ... (yes, he's a volunteer)...

So indeed what a difference in "senses of humor" as demanded for their own "jokes" versus granted to others'....

  3. Of course, Jeb's so determined to claim "he's his own man", perhaps distancing himself from a tradition of idiocy, or perhaps explaining the long-ago trade-off that ultimately did lead to the Bush-v-Gore decision, who can say for sure...?
