Scott Walker's Nauseating Ensemble

By Jeff Simpson

“A man is known by the company he keeps”   ― Aesop

Scott Walker, the Governor of Wisconsin will once again be traveling during Wisconsin Taxpayer time to attend a far right conference where they will be addressing a bunch of students in Florida.

This event is a Tuesday-Friday(week day working days) and noticeably, Scott Walker is the only person attending who is an elected representative and actually has a job.

However, the group that Scott Walker will be sharing the stage with, are not people who you would invite over for Thanksgiving.

First off, the featured speaker is Donald Trump Jr.   Do people really pay him for his insight or for access?   Donald Trump Jr, is taking time away from his discussions with wiki leaks to address a group of impressionable minds.     I wonder if he clears his speech with Julian Assange?

But wait there is more!

Also sharing the stage with Scott Walker, is Eric O'Keefe's(only related by Satan) good friend - James O' Keefe.   The three of them, all teamed up a couple years ago,  to goad Mike Ellis, into a drunk silly rant that cost him his seat.

You will hear James O'Keefe's name in the news in the coming days because he just did something I did not think could be done.   He reached a new low.   One of the most despicable human beings in the world, was able to actually outdo himself in slime.

James O'Keefe is the head of Project Vermin Veritas, and their main mission is to catch Democrats and moderate Republicans, in even a remotely compromising position so they can ruin their career and hopefully their life.

In an effort to try and get the Pedophile Roy Moore, GOP candidate for the upcoming Senate special election, off the hook.   - Let's let that sink in for a second before we move on.

Project Veritas, sent a woman to talk to some Washington Post reporters with a completely false story about the pedophile Roy Moore.  While she was telling this fable, another member of PV was near filming her telling the story and the reaction of the reporters.
In a series of interviews over two weeks, the woman shared a dramatic story about an alleged sexual relationship with Moore in 1992 that led to an abortion when she was 15. During the interviews, she repeatedly pressed Post reporters to give their opinions on the effects that her claims could have on Moore’s candidacy if she went public.

For those scoring at home:  James O'Keefe came up with a plan to fake pedophilia to get a known pedophile off the hook and become a member of the US Senate.

But wait there is more!

Deadbeat Dad and known racist Republican Joe Walsh will also be there:

Joe Walsh @WalshFreedom
He calls Trump a "cheap cracker." On national TV.
Would a comedian still have a job if he called Obama a "nigger?" http://www.thedailybeast.com/snls-michael-che-calls-trump-a-cheap-cracker-over-puerto-rico-response

Along with White Supremacist, and Kevin Nicholson supporter, Steve Bannon

A quick aside, Steve Bannon had this to say about the mighty Paul Ryan:
limp-dick motherfucker who was born in a petri dish at the Heritage Foundation”.
That should make for some good conversation over Miller Lite and Papa Johns Pizza, in between speeches.

But wait there is more:

Dinesh D'Souza, who must be done with his court ordered confinement, to travel and speak.

Also appearing with Mr. Walker - Ben Shapiro.  I wonder if he will be making a second racist video calling out Native Americans as Cannibals and defending the pedophile Chris Columbus.

Then there is another videographer, serial predator Bill O'Reillys good friend, Jesse Watters who put out such brilliant work as this.

I am sure Scott Walker looks forward to hanging out, drinking with his racist, white supremacist buddies, putting on their best glory suit, their #MAGA caps, and grabbing a tiki torch and heading out on the town!

By the way, in case you are wondering who is sponsoring this crazy hate filled event?

Turning Point USA!

Who is Turning Point USA you ask?

This is Turning Point USA!

When the character of a man is not clear to you, look at his friends. [Japanese proverb]

Cindy Archer Loses Again!

By Jeff Simpson

For those that do not remember her, Cindy Archer, was one of Scott Walker's cronies.   Archer was one of the people in Scott Walker's inner circle who was in on the private server that Scott Walker set up in his County Executive office. so the taxpayers of Milwaukee County could pay his campaign staff!

Archer was also one of the minor minds behind ACT10, but did her best to perpetually play the victim.  However, while she was keeping quiet and covering for her boss - John Doe - Scott Walker, her boss was doing a quid pro quo and kept moving her around, with monster raises, to different Wisconsin Government jobs.  She had to keep moving because she was never qualified for any of them, too long in one place would show her incompetence.

One morning, the police knocked on her door, served a search warrant and seized some of her personal items.   The problem is the main millionaire Eric O'Keefe, is apparently a relative of Doug and Wendy Whiner.

While O'Keefe was using his money to whine about his treatment all over the country, his gophers like Matt Kittle was repeating the BS.  While the "reporters" who called the John Doe probe a political witch hunt, set back journalism and the truth a millennium, but is the best way to stay employed in the Wisconsin right wing.

Cindy Archer, never one of the brightest bulbs on the tree, actually believed the Kittle propaganda and filed suit against DA John Chisholm and others.    Frivolous lawsuits are like an initiation ritual on the right.

Like frivolous lawsuits do, her suit got tossed out quicker than a doggy bag from Ground Round.

With unlimited cash reserves to take their best shot at punishing anyone who would dare question the WisGop, Archer appealed the dropping of the lawsuit to the 7th Circuit Court,

After a good laugh they also dropped the lawsuit.  However there was one difference here than the lower courts ruling.

The appeals court on Tuesday agreed with that decision in a ruling that said there was no evidence suggesting Archer's support for Walker played a role in the investigation. The court similarly disagreed with her claims that she was subjected to an illegal search."Unpleasant as the events undoubtedly were, we see nothing objectively unreasonable in what occurred," Wood wrote of the early-morning raid of Archer's home.
Joining Wood in Tuesday's ruling were Judges William Bauer and Ilana Rovner.
Wood was appointed by Democratic President Bill Clinton; Bauer by Republican President Gerald Ford; and Rovner by Republican President George H.W. Bush.
The judges also sided with a part of Adelman's ruling that allowed the federal court to hang onto documents investigators gathered as part of a probe of Walker's campaign known as John Doe II.
That probe was conducted under the John Doe law that at the time allowed prosecutors to operate in secret and compel targets and witnesses to turn over their records. The state Supreme Court shut down that investigation in 2015, saying nothing illegal had occurred.
Two courts both said we need to keep all of the records of John Doe just in case.   The Bought and Purchased five on the Wisconsin Supreme Court tried to get them to destroy all of the evidence of Scott Walkers criminal wrongdoings.

Luckily, outside of Wi, there is an actual independent judiciary.

The question is now what is next for CIndy Archer?     WIll she be appointed to another state job, with another raise?   Will she file yet another lawsuit?   Will she retire with her partner off the State Pension she has accrued??    Hopefully she uses her Government supplied healthcare to get her delusions of grandeur taken care of!

PS:  A blast from the past.  It was Cindy Archer that sent an email to Scott Walker and convicted felon Kelly Rindfleisch to fire our very own Capper!   If we could mine irony, we would be the richest state in the Universe.

Republican Operatives Push To Dump Trump, Walker Wants In

Last week, I pointed out that Scott Walker was starting to waffle on his support for Donald T. Rump, the presumptive Republican nominee. I also pointed out that it seemed that Walker was trying to position himself to be the new nominee if all hell broke loose at the Republican convention.

During the past week, Walker continued to act like he was trying to position himself as a presidential candidate again.

During a vacation, er, trade mission in Mexico, smeared all the remaining candidates, saying that Mexican authorities were equally worried about each of them:
Gov. Scott Walker said Mexican officials have raised concerns with him in recent days about the trade policies Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders would adopt as president, but didn't consider any one of them a bigger threat than the others.

"In general, they're concerned about trade, and interestingly they're concerned not just about the presumptive Republican nominee, they were concerned about statements made by both Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton about trade as well and what impact it might have," the GOP governor said Wednesday in a conference call with reporters.
Yeah, right, sure.

Like the Mexican authorities were just as worried about the Democrats as the guy who called them rapists and drug dealers and wanted to build a wall along the Mexican border and have the Mexicans pay for it.

At the same time, Walker channeled his inner Sarah Palin by blaming the media for his low poll numbers and for the fact that he just sucks:
Gov. Scott Walker says it's the media's fault that people feel bad about the state.

Walker reacted Wednesday to a Marquette University Law School poll showing 50 percent of respondents believe Wisconsin is headed in the wrong direction.

Walker said on a conference call that when he does listening sessions across Wisconsin he hears "good things."

But he says, "headlines are always about negative and bad things so it's no wonder people would feel that way in the polls."

The same poll shows 37 percent think the state budget is in worse shape than a few years ago, while only 31 percent thought it was in better shape. And 29 percent say they think the economy got worse in the past year compared with 25 percent who thought it improved.
To confirm my speculations, a local squawk radio "news" show reported that Walker was now "open" to being named the nominee at the Republican convention if the delegates decide to reject T. Rump, who has been continuously making an ass out of himself, as been sinking in the polls and has been costing the Republican party major corporate sponsors.

On Thursday, CNN reported that there are is a group of Republican sponsors, strategists and operatives looking at the long shot options in trying to dump Trump. What caught my eye is the name of one of the people spearheading this effort:
There is a group of people -- including Eric O'Keefe, a former top fundraiser for Cruz -- that recently formed a group they're calling "Delegates Unbound." They are working on a robust effort to convince delegates that they have the authority and the ability to vote for whomever they want.

A source working with the group told CNN that they are going to try to not only directly communicate with the delegates but also try to raise money to buy TV ads. This source insists the anti-Trump energy is out there among delegates but they just have to coordinate and harness it -- which is no easy task.
Not only is Eric O'Keefe a former top fundraiser for Ted Cruz, but he is the current head of the Koch-funded Wisconsin Club for Growth. O'Keefe is also one of the main subjects in the John Doe investigation between the illegal collaboration between O'Keefe and his group and Scott Walker and his campaign. They already have the emails showing Walker wanting his major donors to send their money to the Wisconsin Club for Growth since there were no limits and they would remain anonymous. WCfG then used that money to help Walker and other Republicans win the recall election.

As CNN reported, it would be extremely unlikely that these operatives would actually be able to oust T. Rump, especially this late in the game. But even if they did, they would be twice-damned fools to replace him with Walker. Walker is such a failure that he barely lasted ten weeks when he was officially running for president. If they tried to pick the popular candidate with this flop, they are just asking for an open rebellion.

Then again, the Republicans have never been known to give a damn about what the voters want.

And if Walker really thinks that he has a chance to win the nomination, much less the presidency, he either crazier and/or dumber than anyone had thought.

On the bright side, we will all be able to laugh at him once again when he fails.

Chris Wiken, The Dark MoneyCandidate

From left to right: Ex-con Jeff Pawlinski, Craig Peterson, Chris Wiken,
Mark Borkowski and Todd Reardon

I was warned long before this election cycle kicked in that the dark money groups - think Koch Boyz, Bradley Foundation and the such - were going to try to run a candidate in every race at every level, from school boards to city seats to county seats and beyond.

Even as the warning came out, Eric O'Keefe, the head of the Wisconsin Club for Growth and one of the main co-conspirators for the collaboration between Scott Walker and these dark money groups, has been bouncing around Milwaukee trying to draft candidates for various races.  To aid him in this endeavor, he enlisted Craig Peterson, a Republican operative in the Milwaukee area.

And in Milwaukee, they have a number of candidates running for various seats in the city, including Bathroom Bob Donovan running for mayor and against any city alderman that voted for the streetcar.

Unfortunately for them, they were either very desperate for candidates and took anyone willing to sell out to them or just did a very poor job at vetting them.

Take Chris Wiken for example.

Wiken is the guy that O'Keefe and Peterson picked to run against Alderman Terry Witkowski.

However, they had to fix a few things before he could run, like moving him out of Waukesha County and into the district.  When he announced his candidacy, he went to great pains to make sure everyone know that he was moving just because of the streetcar issue.

I don't know, maybe it's just me, but that seems like a pretty dramatic move to deal with just one issue that wouldn't have impacted him anyway.

Then there was the issue of three drunk driving charges that they apparently did not know about or did not care about:
Local businessman Chris Wiken, who is challenging Milwaukee Ald. Terry Witkowski, has an explanation for each of the three times he was charged with drunken driving.

The first time, Wiken said, he was young and stupid. He was found guilty, and his license suspended.

The second time, Wiken said, he was mistakenly charged with driving while highly intoxicated. The charge was later dropped.

The third time, Wiken said, the message finally sank in. He was found guilty, his license was suspended and he said he has since tried to turn his life around. His race against Witkowski is one of the most highly contested Milwaukee races.

[...]

In August 2010, he was arrested again for drunken driving in Milwaukee County. It was treated as a first-offense violation, and his license was suspended for six months. Subsequently, he also was cited in 2011 for failing to install an ignition interlock device in his car and paid an $883 fine.

Wiken said the latest OWI offense has been a life-changing experience. He said he has changed his drinking habits, and he and his family have returned to their Catholic faith.

"I respect the law," Wiken said. "It was a bad mistake, bad judgment on my part."
There are a couple of issues regarding his accounting of the events in Hawaii and his second charge in Wisconsin.

Per Hawaiian court records, there were actually two cases, both for drunk driving, filed against him on the same day. There was the case that he told about that was dismissed because of repeated hearings in which the officer failed to appear or the state was not ready to proceed. In the second case, it was finally dropped by the prosecutors four years later, most likely due to the fact that Wiken was no longer in Hawaii. He was busy getting arrested and convicted in Milwaukee for DWI.

Which leads to the other curiosity.  His DWI case had appeared on CCAP, but then suddenly disappeared off website.

Wiken claims that he turned his life around after the third or fourth arrest.  But apparently that only holds true, if he is to be believed, to his drinking.

From all accounts, Wiken still has a vast lack of interpersonal skills and is generally not liked by many people that know him, including his own family.

Like I said, the dark money people backing Wiken were either very desperate or just did a very poor job vetting their candidate.

As someone who is not thrilled with the whole streetcar proposal myself, I can see no reason why the voters shouldn't continue to support Terry Witkowski, who has shown himself to be a very good representative of his constituents and has consistently done what is in his district's best interest.

Mediatrackers Plays (Foot)Loose With the Facts

By Jeff Simpson

Mediatrackkkers and Brian Sikma is at it again.   Apparently modeling his hero the Rev. Shaw Moore, now dancing is something that the Bradley Foundation funded Media Trackers is attacking.

Dance degrees are offered at six University of Wisconsin system campuses, including minors offered at UW-Green Bay, UW-Whitewater, and UW-Eau Claire. UW-Stevens Point offers a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and UW–Milwaukee and UW- Madison offer both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in Dance.....
Classes run the gamut from Javanese Performance Repertory to Body Sense I&II. According to the course listing, Body Sense, “provide[s] an environment for creative exploration of individual body awareness, integration of body-mind and experiencing the body in space.” Further study in this area would lead to, “intensified self-observation and documentation of experience. Stress on intrapersonal, interpersonal, emotional, and existential intelligences.”

Apparently dance is bad in the Michael Grebe, Eric O'Keefe, Brian Sikma, Collin Roth, Charley Sykes vision of Wisconsin.     We must all pay for the fact that none of them could get a movie date in the 80's to see Footloose.  If they had they would know that dancing plays a part in the Bible(they should try reading that book):

Where is Ren McCormick when you need him?  Do we really need to defend the ability of people who have a passion for dancing to further their career via our University System?

I know that the folks at mediatrackkkers do not understand Capitalism, but there is money to be made in dancing! There are also plenty of jobs for these majors to go into from College.

In case you were wondering(MT skips this) but the arts bring over $535 Million dollars and almost 23000 jobs to our great State of Wisconsin.

These guys and their archaic ideas and massive lies, make me so mad I just need to relieve some stress

YOWZA!!!

By Jeff Simpson

You seriously could not make this up if you tried.

Breidbardt's little Gilligan, James O' Keefe(Eric O'Keefe's friend - no relation) is "interviewing" Judith Miller, the former New York Times Reporter who helped Bush/Cheney lie us into the Iraq war, on of all things (sit down for this) Journalistic Integrity.

Honestly! The only one missing in this discussion is Christian Schneider.

If you watched that whole fiasco, now in order to cleanse yourself, you must watch All The President's Men and the following Jon Stewart Video and the pain will slowly go away.

Wisconsin Reporter Solicits Riots

By Jeff Simpson

As everyone probably knows by now, an unarmed African American kid was recently shot and killed by a Madison police officer.   Thanks to the amazing Chris Taylor, there is currently an independent investigation going on to see what exactly happened and why.

We do not have the full information on what happened yet.  The only thing we know for certain is that Anthony Robinson, was unarmed and is no longer with us.   Starting from the night that Mr. Robinson was shot, there have been peaceful protests.  Protests involving, community, clergy, students, children, family, etc...   All have been very peaceful.   Even Mr. Robinson's family has called for peaceful protests

The family of an unarmed biracial 19-year-old killed by police in Madison, Wisconsin, is pushing for peaceful protests online and in the streets.
"Our hands are stained with the blood of my nephew, and we are all left to deal with the aftermath," Turin Carter, the teen's uncle, told reporters on Monday.
Carter stressed that his family wasn't anti-police, but said Tony Robinson's death "highlights a universal problem with law enforcement and how its procedures have been carried out ... specifically as it pertains to the systematic targeting of young black males."
But he said the problem goes beyond the chants of "black lives matter" that have already been used at protests over the case.
"I encourage everybody to show support regardless of race because this is truly a universal issue. ... We don't want to stop at just 'black lives matter,' because all lives matter," he said.
There was even a conscious effort to establish that Madison is not Ferguson

"We're looking beyond Ferguson. And we're also looking at our community to make sure that we are proactive in a way, that what has happened in New York, what happened in Ferguson, won't happen here," African American Council of Churches President Bishop Harold Rayford said.
That there are responsible peaceful protests yet again in Madison is not sitting very well with the Michael Grebe funded propaganda machine called Wisconsin Reporter.   So they decided to step in to fan the flames.

‘Young, Gifted & Black’ looks to turn Madison into next Ferguson

By   /   March 20, 2015  /   11 Comments

Seriously, the first time that violence in these protests was mentioned was the hard core right wing Waukesha based propaganda machine and their gopher - Matt Kittle.

Matt Kittle, Michael Grebe, Eric O'Keefe, Scott Walker, et al, would like nothing better than than to have race riots erupt in "liberal" Madison.   This is what they are doing in front of the scenes, I hate to think of what they are doing behind the scenes.

Full disclosure, my wife took our 12 yar old son to a candle light vigil on the Sunday after the shooting.   There were many children there. zero threats of violence, but lots of prayers, speeches, hugs and tears.

It is sad that this is what the right wing in Wisconsin has become.  It is sad that stoking fear, and hatred is what Wisconsin Reporter thrives off of.

It is time for this BS to end.

Please send a message to MD Kittle of No More race baiting, fear, hatred and inert racism.

The O'Keefe Factor

By Jeff Simpson

Remember last year when some version of the Wisconsin Republican party had the late Andrew Breitbardt's little Gilligan - the despicable James O'Keefe come here and attack long time Republican Senator Mike Ellis?

See Senator Ellis, was not fully on board with the unlimited expansion of vouchers.

In Wisconsin we have seen that you do NOT cross Scott Jensen and that the Republicans will go to any lengths necessary to make sure no Republican dare have an independent thought or want to represent their district.

Hence they called in O'Keefe.

In case you had not heard of James O'Keefe before, he made news recently.

A former employee says conservative activist James O’Keefe tried to instigate anti-police sentiment among protesters through the use of a mole, the New York Postreported. The former director of operations for Project Veritas, Richard Valdes, said O’Keefe planned to send an unidentified Muslim man working for him to infiltrate a group of demonstrators in January. Neither the protest he was supposed to join nor the location have been identified.
The man was also allegedly given a script to recite at meetings, in which he would say, “Sometimes, I wish I could just kill some of these cops. Don’t you just wish we could have one of the cops right here in the middle of our group?”
However, the man reportedly emailed both Valdes and O’Keefe that month and refused the assignment.
“I will not say words that will jeopardize my entity, especially when they involve an illegal act of ‘murdering police,’” he wrote.
Valdes told the Post that O’Keefe subsequently fired him for “being unwilling to strong-arm the guy to do his dirty work.”

What a great guy the Republicans have hired and brought to our state.   Also kind of puts  the "we thought about adding violence to the peaceful protests" line by Scott Walker into perspective, doesn't it?

Shut That Guy Up!

By Jeff Simpson

Eric O'Keefe, the head of Wisconsin Club For Growth and one of the targets in the John Doe probe, sounds more and more like the Brittney fan of you tube fame, everyday!  He obviously has no advisors and why Scott Walker would want to coordinate or even be associated with him is beyond my understanding.

Someone needs to tell this guy to shut up!

Calling a subpoena issued to him a "death warrant" and "kill shot" for his organization, a leader of the conservative Wisconsin Club for Growth said Tuesday he would seek to have a federal appeals court reconsider his lawsuit against prosecutors.
"This eight-page subpoena was not an investigatory document. This is a death warrant," he said.
Umm Eric:

Please just be thankful that you truly dont have a "death warrant" and pray for those who do!!

How Much Collaboration Do You Want?

By Jeff Simpson - Cross Posted from Purple WI

The Misaptly named "Citizens for Responsible Government(CRG)" has jumped on the right wing bandwagon of filing frivolous lawsuits and are now suing to be able to collaborate with candidates and other dark money groups.
Wisconsin's Club For Growth(WICFG) and their "leader" Eric O'Keefe has already filed a frivolous lawsuit, asking for the investigation(he is one of the people being investigated) to end.   Mr. O'Keefe, has the sound of desperation wherever he goes to tell his story:
"We have in Wisconsin a taxpayer-funded domestic spying operation of over three years' duration conducted by the Milwaukee County DA, John Chisholm, and now in concert with Kevin Kennedy at the Government Accountability Board, which is corrupt and so is Kennedy," said Eric O'Keefe, one of the directors of the Wisconsin Club for Growth.
While it does not surprise me that Governor Scott Walker has no problem Mr. O'Keefe slandering a solid public servant like Mr. Chisholm, it does surprise me that the Governor has not distanced himself from groups with such questionable pasts as WICFG & CRG.
Then CRG stepped, in maybe because they have been left out of all investigations so far, or it could be that when cases get in front of Judge Randa, they are confident in knowing the end result will favor the Republicans.  In that case, why not ask for the moon.   It also does not hurt that Scott Walker's lawyer's wife, works for Judge Randa
Either way, Club For Growth, funded by another org that Mr. O'Keefe sits on the board of, wanted to help muddy the waters.  Or as CFG president  Chris Kliesmet puts it:
"My rights to speak out are being violated and they're being violated in a violent way,"
The reality is, that Mr. Kliesmet should be thankful that his right to speak have actually not been taken away in a "violent way".   We have a history of doing that in America and it can be lethal! !
In case you need a quick reminder of what is going on here, Wisconsin elected & public officials, have a history of breaking election laws.  Then earlier in Governor Scott Walker's term, there was a John Doe investigation that actually netted 6 convictions
Anyone who has watched an episode of CSI, or even Starsky and Hutch, realize that in order to get convictions, you need to gather evidence and investigate.  That is what the prosecutors were doing when they confiscated some computers from key figures in the case(some of who were given immunity).  This allowed investigators to get 5 felons and one convict, out of our government, so everyone benefitted.
Mr. O'Keefe felt the need to speak up on that issue also, and really should not have(emphasis mine):
He alleged "synchronized paramilitary raids" had been conducted in September 2011 and October 2013 that were aimed at intimidating their targets. Those whose homes had been raided are suffering reactions "similar to rape victims," he said.
Yes Mr. O'Keefe really did compare having your taxpayer supplied laptop confiscated to being raped.   While I am sure every Rape Victims would disagree, the real question here is -  why is our Governor taking counsel from someone who would hold such disgusting beliefs?
Instead of allegedly coordinating in private,  Mr. Kliesmet comes right out and tells us his plans:
CRG told the court it wants to collaborate with Vilas County Supervisor Kim Simac, Waukesha County Board Supervisor Carl Pettis and state Senate candidate Jason "Red" Arnold. But it has not started working with the candidates because the accountability board and Chisholm have said such collaboration can be illegal, even if a group does not urge people to vote for a particular candidate, the group said in its suit.
Everytime the words, "can" or "may" be illegal are spoken or written, Chuck Chvala's Google alerts go crazy!   Plus, if the Republicans did not think this was illegal, they would not have tried to pass a bill to make it legal
It will be interesting to see where the courts take this and where it finally lands as illegal or we completely change the election landscape.
With such hyperbole and the flurry of lawsuits being filed, one would almost think that these people have something to hide.   However, as we wait for the courts to decide how much collaboration is allowed, there is something that can be done that is 100% legal.
That is to work bipartisanly to fix our state's messes.
I hope these same people who are working so hard to collaborate, make sure and let the republican elected officials know that they expect the same out of them during session.   The people of Wisconsin will be watching next session to make sure that both sides amendments and arguments will be listened to and considered.     No more stunts like Robin Vos telling the Democratic Caucus not to waste any time on amendments because everyone would fail.
If they find collaboration to be such an important function for success, let's make sure and live by that example.
Let's swear off the divide and conquer philosophy, that Scott Walker brought to the state in 2010 and start working together.
Finally, as Mr. O'Keefe complains about his speech being stifled, you should know that his speech is so stifled, that he only has a website, a facebook page, linked in, unlimited access to right wing radio, the ability to talk to any of his friends and neighbors, most right wing politicians will take his call, and he can write a letter to the editor in any paper he wants(among other venues).
Some people in Wisconsin would love, if their biggest problem was, that their speech was "stifled" to this extent!

Who Knew Legitimacy Was So Costly?

By Jeff Simpson

“Everything we’ve done is completely legitimate,” Walker told reporters Saturday in Madison.

Yet, Mr. Walker has spent well over $1,000,000 on lawyers, which is alot of money when you have done nothing wrong.   Mr. Walker also has a hard time distinguishing between illegal and unethical.
To put things in perspective, he spent more than ONE MILLION DOLLARS on lawyers when he did everything right and sent ALS $10 to help find a cure(sans stem cells).  I wonder why he did not "nominate" Eric O'Keefe

Life is about priorities!

The Company They Keep!

By Jeff Simpson

A while back, tape was released that was somewhat damaging to Senator Mike Ellis.  In a drunken stupor he let his feelings fly, and they were not as hardcore right wing extremists as the folks in Fitzwalkerland prefer so he was forced to retire.

Mike Ellis was well covered(they wanted him out), and Judi Rhodes Engels(they need her to do the dirty work) was given a free pass for her role in the alleged illegal and smear campaigns.  One thing that was pretty much overlooked was the role that Project Veritas and Smear merchant James O Keefe played.

While O'Keefe refuses to say why he came up here and attacked small fish Ellis, it does not take much effort to connect the dots.   One of the biggest items on the republican agenda in the next session is vastly expanding for profit education, irregardless of the results.

The face of education profiteers in Wisconsin is formerly convicted and ex-Speaker of the Assembly Scott Jensen.

Scott Jensen is such a powerful figure in Wisconsin politics still that when the republican party, made elected reps sign secrecy agreements to be let in the redistricting meetings(Not a single elected Democrat was consulted), Scott Jensen did not have to sign one and had to sign off on any new map they came up with.   Scott Jensen also stands to profit personally the most from raiding our public education funds.   Scott Jensen also had no problem buying the Assembly, he bought an Assembly seat in a special election(Jessie Rodriguez) who answers pretty much only to him.

The problem of course was the state Senate.   The republican majority was fragile, and while lightweights(figuratively only) like Rick Gudex will do whatever he told him to, the republicans did not have a solid enough majority to push things through.  Especially on the rare occasions when Senator Ellis actually represented his constituency.     One of those occasions has always been around the raiding of public education money.   Senator Ellis knew it was bad for WI and that the people in his area were against it.

Jensen and his ilk have no concern for the people of WI or what the people in WI care for or stand for, they enjoy profit.   That meant Ellis was an obstacle between our public education money and their bank accounts.   An obstacle that had to be removed.

I have no doubt that all bases are covered and there is no actual ties directly between Scott Jensen and James O Keefe.   The guys with the power rarely get their own hands dirty.   However, following the bread crumbs of logic,  we know right where that leads us.

That being said, let us look at the person that "someone" hired to come to WI and remove Senator Ellis - James O' Keefe.   See James O'Keefe was Andrew Breitbart's protege, until he was too disgusting of a human being even for Breitbart.   Now that Breitbart has moved south, O'Keefe is trying to establish his own legacy and apparently, with customers like the Wisconsin republicans, it is working.

O'Keefe you might recall, almost singlehandedly took down Acorn.  After the initial fake outrage, we found out that Mr. O Keefe was lying and he ended up having to pay the Acorn employee $100,000.

O'Keefe is back at it again with his trademark, half truths and outright lies.  This time Jimmy dressed up as his hero, Osama Bin Laden(not understanding the irony or stupidity) and crossed the Mexican border into the US.

Here is the kicker though:

Update: "To complete this investigation, Project Veritas spent over $74,242 in legal fees, investigators salaries, and travel expenses... Please help me replace these funds." ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
O'Keefe does not have any money, so he needs to fund raise to do these silly video's and gotcha moments.   The story was not Ellis's loose lips, when the liquor flows those have always been there.  The story is who in Wisconsin has money to burn to bring Jim O'Keefe to Wisconsin to help push through an agenda?  We also know our Governor likes to be involved in all aspects of his campaign, was he aware that Mr. O'Keefe had been hired?  Did the same person(s) hire Mr. O'Keefe who advocated bringing in violence to the peaceful protests in the Capitol?   Are James O'Keefe and Scott Jensen friends?

The republicans in Wisconsin know no level low enough that they will not stoop to to continue in power.

The real question is why would you reward that behavior at the polls?
