Captain Scott Walker Of The Lord's Boat

By Jeff Simpson

Mark your calendars now.  DO NOT Delay.

On August 12-19th, 2017, Scott and Tonette Walker will be hosting an Alaskan Cruise.  An Alaskan cruise because Mr. Walker's heart is to cold for the Caribbean.

Also not sure if he has put in for vacation yet, since he took the whole summer off last year to gallivant around the country( When you end up with 0% support, it can hardly be called campaigning) he might not have much vacation left.

Lets let Mr.Walker invite us himself(while I help him clarify more of what he means):

I want to personally invite you to join me and other special guests on a once-in-a-lifetime cruise to Alaska(if enough of you pay your money to come with us, I dont have to pay). The United States is rich in natural beauty, but wild Alaska is perhaps one of the most scenic parts of our nation—if not the world(cruise now before we abolish the EPA). With cascading waterfalls, snow-capped mountains and abundant wildlife, you’ve got to see it to believe it(bring your cameras, these sights will not be here for much longer). Come experience it with me August 12–19, 2017, on the Lifeshape Alaska Cruise.

Aboard(Major Republican Donor Micky Arison's Cruise line) Holland America’s luxurious msEurodam(will be temporarily renamed the SSunintimidated), we’ll travel to historical ports like Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan. We’ll cruise the unbelievable waters of Glacier Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And along the way, we’ll have countless moments for building new friendships and engaging in conversations about what we hold dear: faith, freedom and family values.

I’m very pleased that my wife, Tonette Walker, will be joining us. Other special guests include Trudy Cathy White(the girl from facts of life?), The Benham Brothers(these guys?), Wes Hampton and Adam King(those two dudes that write scary movies!). In addition to the fantastic music(we will participate in morning prayer to this song every morning), we’ll enjoy nightly inspirational messages about issues that directly impact our society and business climate today(donating as much money as you can to the GOP). Topics include faith in the public arena(A to the Men), faith-driven entrepreneurship and strategic opportunities to transform the marketplace.

Best of all, you’ll spend this wonderfully scenic week in the presence of like-minded business owners(I have never had a job so this will be covered by someone else) and impassioned professionals. What an awesome opportunity to network, build relationships(give me money) and get inspired for the future. Get away for an exciting cruise conference that will enrich you physically, mentally and spiritually in a breathtaking landscape. Reserve your cabin today for a transformative(Can you believe they are making another one of these movies) experience you’ll remember forever.

Sincerely,
Scott Walker
(part-time)Governor, State of Wisconsin

While the final details are being finalized, we at CogDIs have scooped everyone again.  We have more details of the pure excitement of an Alaskan Cruise with the Walkers.

August 13th Day at Sea.
This day is meant for you to acclimate to the sea and the room, and the food etc.... make, some new friends, talk amongst yourself, get selfies from the boat and must post a mandatory 2 picture presentation on social media(one has to be with Governor Walker).

The Itinerary is light today, we will start out with a recorded prayer from Rep. Alvin Ott:  Sorry he was not able to join us live, but no one had ever heard of him before so we were unable to locate him to invite him:

Keep your hand on your heart people because we will follow up that amazing touching prayer with a sing along version of stand with Governor Walker(also recorded because let's be real, would you want to spend a week at sea with Glen Shulfer?)

After this bit of inspiration you will have free time until 3:30 where everyone will get together and have a whitest legs contest!  Winner will receive a personal phone call from Paul Ryan.  He would have loved to attend this cruise but The Donald did not give him permission!

In the meantime, we recommend since we will be sailing international waters, you make an appointment with the ships Dr. since we will soon be back in American waters and with the repeal of Obamacare, no one on this ship will be able to afford visiting a Doctor.

Also after morning prayer, Tonette will leave us for a few days to oversee a completely unnecessary and expensive kitchen remodel of the ship.  We hope to see her again by the end of the week.

JUNEAU, ALASKA (August 14, 1:00 P.M.–10:00 P.M.)

The next day, we will start out with our daily prayer and tribute song, followed by brunch so you have your energy for a full day of exploring Juneau.   For a minimal fee, you can travel the Capital city with Trudi White, while mocking gays, protesting the local clerk for issuing same -sex marriage licenses and ending with a fried Chicken dinner on Sarah Palin's porch.  Where people can listen to stories of how Jesus hated gays and if all goes well a sighting of a shirtless Vlad Putin (Raarrrrhhh).

Always shirtless...

Entertainment on the ship after will be a tree decorating contest = the winner will be the contestant who can decorate their tree the fastest without falling into it!    Winner gets a pink randomly sized Walker for President T-shirt.

CRUISING GLACIER BAY, ALASKA (August 15, 7:00 A.M.–4:00 P.M.)

After our daily prayer and tribute we are off to the Glacier Bay.  As Senator Ron Johnson likes to say, who doesn't like it warmer? Bring your suit because we will spend the morning swimming in the ocean, if all goes well we will have a whale sighting and possibly be able to pick up a Polar Bear Carcass for your home office

We will be back on the ship in time for another quick swim and a reading from Unintimidated. Today's contest will be whoever can make up the tallest tale of how people tried to intimidate you and they were unsuccessful.   Please no truth involved and it has to take place in WI.   For people who purchase the VIP package, you will learn how to add violence into peaceful protesters all in the name of the Lord!

The winner will receive the bonus of NOT getting a signed copy, everyone else must take two copies home with them (you will be checked as you leave).

SITKA, ALASKA (August 16, 7:00 A.M.–3:30 P.M.)

After morning prayer and ritual, Scott Walker will hold a quick reminder, to all involved(and in honor of Da Coach), that you can be a fan of any major sports team and still send him money!

After that much pandering we will be ready to check out beautiful Sitka.   Today's contest will be the four people who have shown the biggest hatred of public employees and union members will get rewarded with a special deep sea fishing trip with The Governor.   Guaranteed not to hear stories of how your lack of success out on the seas is Barack Obama's fault and if you were in Wisconsin your pole and bait would be working!    Also not guaranteed to actually catch any fish!

We will come home to the highlight of the trip.  We will hold a #Walker16 party, where we will be sampling different foods from county fairs around the country, drinking lots of beer, much more pandering and lots of shaking hands.  The person with the best "I Love Scott Walker"sign will also win an autographed randomly sized Walker for President T-shirt and lapel pin!

The Brothers who we invited will be the entertainment at the party!

KETCHIKAN, ALASKA (August 17, 7:00 A.M.–1:00 P.M.)

This is the day everyone has been waiting for!   Today, after prayer and devotional song we will be heading to the hallowed ground of the modern day Republican party!  No not Ripon WI, but the famous "Bridge to Nowhere".  Nothing represents the big spending, earmark ridden, waste of taxpayer money like the Alaskan Bridge to Nowhere.  It is almost like the original WEDC.

Participants will have a chance to walk on it, have your picture taken there and there will be a ritual before departing where we thank Saint Ronnie and then everyone just grabs money from their purse or wallet and randomly throws it into the sea(in the name of fiscal conservatism of course)!

When we get back to the ship we will be welcome with the fresh smell, in our newly remodeled kitchen of Scott Walker's Frosted Christmas Pecans!  Do not worry if you have a nut allergy, as we will pray that away and please, whatever you do these are Christmas Pecans NOT Holiday pecans!

In honor of Jesus's Half Birthday and an early celebration of Christmas, we will be accepting checks for Friends of Scott Walker, and will issue your children a nice certificate in your name to give them for Christmas.   They know how important it is that we take our Big Bold Reforms National and I become President, that I am sure they will not mind skipping Christmas this year!

The winner of today's contest will be the person who can dress in the most Red, White and Blue to please God.   We all know God is 100% pure American, through and through, so let us honor that on this special day!   The winner will be given the honor of guest hosting the Vicki Mckenna show!  Just a quick lesson on how to screech is all you will need, facts or knowledge of any subject you want to be an expert of not necessary!

VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA (August 18, 6:00 P.M.–11:59 P.M.)

Finally, our bittersweet last day.  Yet as Christians we know:

Colossians 3:23-24 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.”

Today is the day we put those idle hands and feet to work for our guest of honor Governor Scott Walker.  They all laughed at him, when he brought this up as a legitimate issue in his campaign for President and today is the day we show the world, who gets the last laugh.

Everyone will be issued a shovel and we will build our own wall to keep Canada away from the US!   No more open border access to the hockey playing, Poutine eating, Celine Dion fans.  A Government is there to provide safety for the people and the nationalized health care, Maple syrup eating people who sent us Ryan Gosling need to be contained.  Our Hero Scott Walker is just the National Security expert to do it and its up to us to help him!

After that home to get a good nights sleep and continue on doing the Lord's work of ridiculing gays, making fun of the homeless and lowering wages and taking healthcare away from people in your own community!

Thank you and God Bless,  Looking forward to cruising with you!

PS:  Since regulations are the Devil's work and kill jobs we only have a few on this cruise(which can all be found in the Good Book):

*  NO SINGING SONGS DURING LUNCH(no exceptions)!
*  No eating shellfish
*  No cutting of hair or beards allowed
*  No wearing of poly/cotton blends
*  Women must not wear any clothing deemed sexy
*  No Masturbation this week

Thank you and for the safety of all these rules will strictly be enforced by a much higher power!

The Flag Of Terror

EPA/Shawn Thew Stock Photo

Jimmy Wigderson blogs about his love of the Gadsden Flag:

Would it help WisPolitics to maintain their independence if we sent them the Gadsden flag?

Then there was the incidence when a couple shot two police officers in the back and draped their dead bodies in the Gadsden flag.

On June 8, 2014, Jerad Dwain Miller, 31, and his wife Amanda Woodruff Miller, 22, entered a Las Vegas pizzeria and without any provocation or warning, shot and killed two police officers sitting in a booth eating lunch.  The pair dragged the officers to the floor, took their weapons and ammunition, and draped a yellow (Gadsden) flag over one of the bodies.  They placed a swastika-stamped manifesto on top of the flag, and pinned a note on the other officer’s body that read, “This is the start of the revolution.”
Then there is this from White Right Wisconsin:

Let us be perfectly clear.  This is NOT a flag of the Revolution, it has now become the flag of the White Power, Right Wing "Christian" terrorists in The United States!

Be wary when you see one.

Walker: I Don't Know If Obama Is Christian

Scott Walker can't seem to stop putting his foot in his mouth, especially when he is confronted with those hard hitting questions like if he believes in evolution or if he thinks Obama loves our country.

One might think that Walker would have learned by now, but one would be sadly mistaken. Walker ended up sounding like a damn fool again when he questioned Obama's faith:
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a prospective Republican presidential contender, said Saturday he does not know whether President Obama is a Christian.

“I don’t know,” Walker said in an interview at the JW Marriott hotel in Washington, where he was attending the winter meeting of the National Governors Association.

Told that Obama has frequently spoken publicly about his Christian faith, Walker maintained that he was not aware of the president’s religion.

“I’ve actually never talked about it or I haven’t read about that,” Walker said, his voice calm and firm. “I’ve never asked him that,” he added. “You’ve asked me to make statements about people that I haven’t had a conversation with about that. How [could] I say if I know either of you are a Christian?”
At least he didn't say he didn't know if Obama was American because he didn't see the birth certificate - not yet, anyway.

Ironically, people are starting to question whether Walker is actually a Christian, given that his policies are completely opposite of the teachings of the Bible, especially when it comes to the poor.

Walker went on to whine about all those mean reporters that ask such tough questions. He probably wishes that all reporters would be like his friends at Faux News or on squawk radio, who only ask him how wonderful he is. Walker even had his spokeswoman call to yell at the reporter:
After the interview was completed, Walker spokeswoman Jocelyn Webster telephoned The Washington Post to say the governor was trying to make a point of principle by not answering such kinds of questions, not trying to cast doubt on Obama’s faith.

“Of course the governor thinks the president is a Christian,” she said. “He thinks these kinds of gotcha questions distract from what he’s doing as governor of Wisconsin to make the state better and make life better for people in his state.”
Now, obviously, this is nothing more than dog whistle politics, which is one thing Walker can do very well.

But he is also ending up to seem more and more like Sarah Palin, who couldn't even answer the question about which papers and magazines she reads.

Then again, Walker does have a tendency to use selective knowledge. All throughout the two John Doe investigations into his illegal politicking, his favorite answer has been "I don't know," even though evidence - like spending nearly a million dollars on a legal defense fund - shows that he damn well did know what was going on.

I can't wait until the national media asks him another hardball question, like what the color of his white shirt is or if he thinks Obama is black.

FInally! Scott Walker Creates Jobs!

By Jeff Simpson

We have been waiting years for Scott Walker to actually make a positive impact on the economy and create jobs! Well, wait no more. Mr. Walker has finally, finally done it!!

MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Less than a week after returning from a London trade mission where he refused to answer questions about foreign policy, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has hired foreign and domestic policy advisers.
A spokeswoman for Walker's political committee Our American Revival said Wednesday that he hired Mike Gallagher to advise on international issues and Kristin Jackson to work on domestic policies.

Ok, so it is only two jobs, and it is personal tutors because Mr. Walker is not the brightest bulb on the tree.  I hope they are not tutoring him on State Taxpayer time.

If they can get Sarah Palin to fake her way through a debate, there is hope for Scott.   He can see Canada from his luxury Box  when the Bucks play the Raptors.

But Wait there is more, Scott Walker was on a roll today and created even more jobs!   Unfortunately these jobs are very low paying and are in New Hampshire.

The Associated Press is reporting that Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has expanded his political team to New Hampshire, where he’s hired adviser to lead his efforts in that state as he gears up for a likely 2016 presidential run.
Walker’s political operation Our American Revival confirmed Wednesday to AP that Andy Leach has been hired as senior adviser in New Hampshire and Michael Bir will handle day-to-day operations.
One of Scott Walker's first hires is a leech, how apropos.

I know that you can count on one hand how many jobs he created today, and that none want to someone from WI, but let's give him a star for trying.  This could be his biggest economic day of his career.

The Five Words That Ended Scott Walker's Presidential Ambitions

By Jeff Simpson

Scott Walker has been feeling rather full of himself lately.  That has been known to happen to a career politician with three big wins under his belt.

Scott Walker, apparently with no one to advise him, decided to step out of the comfort zone of Fox News and headed to meet with an actual reporter.

Scott Walker decided to sit down with Martha Raddatz, from ABC News and "answer" some questions.   The problem for Scott Walker is, he did not see what he was about to be hit with.   Ms. Raddatz, being an actual reporters, did something to Scott Walker that has never been done before.

She asked a follow up question!

Walker was stunned by this of course, since he has not had to answer any tough questions for at least five years.

When someone had the temerity to ask "But what does that mean?..." .

Scott Walker was flabbergasted.

He gave his best Sarah Palinesesque answer, but then in the end, advocated for more war and "boots on the ground".

He might as well have answered "Umm .....you know all of them".

Don't get me wrong, Scott Walker is not done campaigning for President after today. He will continue to travel the country, spend our taxpayer money and probably compete for the first few primaries with the craziest of the crazies.   Then he will slowly fade into oblivion in the other 49 states.

One day when answering a trivia question about Scott Walkers failed Presidential bid, you can point to February 1st, 2015 as the beginning of the end.

Scotty Nonsense

BY Jeff Simpson

As soon as the folks at Politifact got up of the floor from laughing so hard, they gave him a pants on fire rating!

In any case, the lack of Soviet records described by Walker is clear.
Reagan's own ambassador to the Soviet Union, Jack Matlock, told us: "It's utter nonsense. There is no evidence of that whatever."
Matlock questioned whether Soviet leaders even paid much attention to the firings, saying: "At that point, their big question was whether (Reagan) was going to attack them."

Utter nonsense pretty much describes Scott walker very well.

Kind of hard to have someone speak about holding schools and teachers accountable when you are either that ignorant of history or are so willing to lie.    Mr. Walker has more in common with Sarah Palin than we knew!

Huh??

Remember when the GOP lied to us and told us that Sarah Palin's teleprompter broke when she gave her acceptance speech for the Vice Presidential Nomination?

Palin - tology

By Jeff Simpson

A stroll down memory lane here, back a few years,  when the Wisconsin right wing cabal just took over the state.

Sarah was so popular that Scott Walker was drueling all over her:

Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker is among the Republicans lining up for an endorsement from Sarah Palin, the 2008 vice presidential candidate and former Alaska governor.
Walker sought help in his run for governor Friday in a half-hour meeting with Palin after her invitation-only Wisconsin Right to Life event.
Time magazine's Web site first reported on the meeting Wednesday, and Walker spokeswoman Jill Bader confirmed it was accurate.
"Sarah Palin is one of many national political figures we're reaching out to help on the campaign trail to be part of Scott's effort," Bader said.
What was the appeal of the Sarah Palin to the Wisconsin republicans, specifically Scott Walker?

We found out this past weekend

A nice, mellow party, until the Palin’s show up. There’s beer, of course, and maybe other things. Which is all fine, but just about the time when some people might have had one too many, a Track Palin stumbles out of a stretch Hummer, and immediately spots an ex-boyfriend of Willow’s. Track isn’t happy with this guy, the story goes. There’s words, and more. The owner of the house gets involved, and he probably wished he hadn’t. At this point, he’s up against nearly the whole Palin tribe: Palin women screaming. Palin men thumping their chests. Word is that Bristol has a particularly strong right hook, which she employed repeatedly, and it’s something to hear when Sarah screams, “Don’t you know who I am!” And it was particularly wonderful when someone in the crowd screamed back, “This isn’t some damned Hillbilly reality show!” No, it’s what happens when the former First Family of Alaska comes knocking. As people were leaving in a cab, Track was seen on the street, shirtless, flipping people off, with Sarah right behind him, and Todd somewhere in the foreground, tending to his bloody nose.”

Phil Robertson - My Favorite Heel!

By Jeff Simpson

I have never watched a second of Duck Dynasty and I can not change the channel quick enough when  "reality" TV comes on.   I was also getting sick of the whole Phil Robertson 'fiasco", then it hit me.   Phil Robertson isn't a redneck racist(well he might be) but instead he is a brilliant marketer of himself.

While I no longer watch professional wrestling either, I used to be a huge fan of the WWF and even beofre that as a kid watching All Star Wrestling on Sunday mornings with the High Flyers, Vern Gagne, nick Bockwinkle, Rock and Roll Buck Zumhoff and even the very beginnings of Hulk Hogan.

The person who always garnered the most attention was the heel.  The heel, for those who have never watched wrestling, was the person they marketed as the "bad guy" A good wrestler could go back and forth between being a heel and being a "face" (good guy).

One of my favorite "heels" was always Bobby Heenan.  Heenan would say and do anything to piss people off.  The more crazy things he said the more popular he became.

The problem that Heenan had though was he was limited to professional wrestling.

Then the phenomena that is Fox news came along.   This allowed the marketing division of the republican party to turn people into "faces" and "heels" without them even being involved.   They could whitewash history with no worries about facts, intelligence or even logic.

One of the by products of this phenomena that no one had foreseen was what would happen when they made someone a star.   All Roger Ailes propaganda machine had to do was find someone the "liberals" did not like and their star would shoot up faster than Trey Radel. It did not matter what their intelligence or talent was.  The liberals are bad message is a money maker.

For instance, a plumbers apprentice named Sam, asked a fake question under a made up name that actually pointed out that President Obama's tax policy was better for the average American than John McCain's was.     The media pointed out that he was a complete phony and the Fox Phenomena turned Sammy into a victim and he then transformed himself into "Joe the Plumber" who now is a hero to the far right.

Exhibit 2: is of course Sarah Palin.    Sarah Palin was picked to be John McCain's running mate, strictly on her looks and gender. Early on in her unveiling as a national candidate, they offered her up to the queen of softballs, Katie Couric, who tripped Ms. Palin up with the hard hitting question - "What do you read"!

Ms. Palin and Mr. Ailes then were able to tun that into the liberal media attacking poor Sarah with "gotcha" questions.  Instead of being relinquished to the answer in a trivia game, she rose to right wing superstardom.

In both of these instances(and others), we find out that the stupider, more racist, homophobic quote you can on nation TV the better.  Say something that upsets a "liberal" and you will find right wing extremists all over the country willing to send you their hard earned money.

Which brings us back to the Duck guy

All the right-wing religious zealots are up in arms about the suspension of the family idol Phil Robertson for the now widely distributed remarks which have not only offended many Americans, but has landed him in the A&E jailhouse. What is the response of the shows huge Redneck following? Well, it appears to rush down to the nearest Walmart store and buy Duck Dynasty stuff right here at the ” prime time” of the holiday sales season. Great timing for a promotional stunt wouldn’t you say?

I do not know for sure if Phil Robertson is a racist homophobic bigot.  I do know for sure though, that he is playing YOU!   And laughing all the way to the bank!

As someone once said, "If you look around and can't tell who the sucker is...its you!"

you're playing a poker game and you look around the table and and can't tell who the sucker is, it's you.

The Real War on Christmas!

By Jeff Simpson

Recently fake journalist, and WPRI republican hack Christian Schneider wrote a column on the wonders of offshoring(in a defense of Mary Burke).   Apparently you have to be an adult to understand what a great thing it is:

But while the outsourcing issue is a Sheboygan-sized target on Burke's campaign, Republicans should avoid simply hammering her for the act of outsourcing itself. It is an easy tactic — and in the end, winning is all that matters, after all — but campaigns should be careful how they foment anger among voters. Especially if it means confusing the public about a nuanced issue that deserves an adult conversation.

First, a point of clarification: While Burke's detractors refer to "outsourcing," they really mean "offshoring." Companies "outsource" their operations to other businesses when it isn't cost-effective to do the work themselves. It's not as if Grimace and Mayor McCheese are at the McDonald's headquarters milking cows to produce the company's dairy creamers; they outsource that task to an actual dairy company.

"Offshoring," on the other hand, means moving jobs overseas, where products can be produced cheaper due to lower labor costs. For the workers whose jobs are moved to India, China or Mexico, offshoring — to use a technical economic term — "sucks."
We at CogDis pointed out that Schneider is economic illiterate, which was of a surprise to no one.   What I failed to do though was point out the "real world"consequences of offshoring that no one seems to want to have an adult conversation about(hint: don't look to Schneider for adult conversations).

1.  What is considered one of the most dangerous jobs in the world?  Bangladesh garment worker makes the list.    Who knew making your cheap T-shirt was so dangerous?

In Bangladesh, there are 4 million garment workers — they’re getting starved to death too with pitiful wages, and they’re brutally overworked. And there are no health and safety standards. We saw the result of that in the Tazreen Factory fire on Nov. 24, 2012, which killed at least 117 workers. Less than a month later another factory, Smart Fashion, went up in flames.
When we were in Bangladesh, a boy named Korshed —15 years of age — was working a night shift, all night long from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. during the monsoon season. It was July 17, 2012, when in the middle of the night at 3:00 a.m. a gigantic metal slab fell and crushed this young kid. Killed, dead on the spot. There’s no health and safety records whatsoever, the workers are just sitting ducks.
 2.  A lady in Oregon bought cheap crap Halloween decorations from China and found a letter:

"People who work here have to work 15 hours a day without Saturday, Sunday break and any holidays. Otherwise, they will suffer torturement, beat and rude remark. Nearly no payment (10 yuan/1 month)."
Ten yuan is equivalent to $1.61.
"People who work here, suffer punishment 1-3 years averagely, but without Court Sentence (unlaw punishment). Many of them are Falun Gong practitioners, who are totally innocent people only because they have different believe to CCPG. They often suffer more punishment than others."

Schneider did get that right....$1.61/month is definitely cheaper labor.  See what happens when you get rid of the unions, companies are free to prosper!  Time for ACT11 to cut teacher pay again.

As a child, Aruna dreamed of going to college. But by the time she was 15, when her government-subsidized schooling ended, she understood that she was too poor. Then, a stranger promised to change her life. He offered her a job at a textile factory that has supplied companies including, until recently, UK-based maternity wear maker Mothercare. Her pay would be about $105 a month—enough for food for her family, her further education, and most importantly, the chance to build a dowry.

When Aruna arrived at the factory, about 40 miles from her home, she found a vast facility where close to 1,000 girls, many in their teens, lived 10 or 15 to a room. From 8 a.m. till 10 p.m. every day, including weekends, she fed and monitored rusty machines that spun raw cotton into yarn. Her bosses often woke her in the middle of the night because, she recalls, there was "always some sort of work, 24 hours a day." Aruna made just a quarter of the $105 a month she was promised, about $0.84 a day.

Aruna shows me a scar on her hand, more than an inch long, where a machine cut her. She often saw girls faint from standing for too long. One had her hair ripped out when it got caught in a machine. Others were molested by their supervisors. "They said we would get less work if we slept with them," Aruna says. Sometimes girls would disappear, and everyone would speculate whether they'd died or escaped. Still, she needed the money, so she worked there for two years.
Last April's building collapse in Bangladesh's Rana Plaza, which killed more than 1,000, briefly drew attention to the plight of garment workers. India is an even larger global player than Bangladesh: It's the third-largest textile and garment exporter in the world (after China and the European Union), with about $29 billion in 2012 sales. Between June 2012 and June 2013, the United States imported about $2.2 billion worth of cotton clothing from India, and that number is expected to grow as India ramps up its textile industry.

 4.  In Jordan a factory that produces products for WalMart, sexual abuse is a way of life:

In June, the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights released a report alleging that workers producing clothing for Walmart, Target, Macy's, Kohl's and Hanes at a factory in Jordan have been routinely beaten, underpaid and forced to work hours in excess of what the local law allows. The report added that workers have been forced to live in bed bug-infested dormitories that lack heat and hot water, despite the snow and ice that are a feature of local winters.
The report also alleged a pattern of widespread sexual abuse of female employees at the Classic Brands factory complex. The factory employs some 4,800 people, mostly guest workers from South Asia. One manager repeatedly raped female Sri Lankan workers, prompting a strike late last year, according to the report. Workers wanted the manager fired. Instead, the factory's owner sent the manager on a recruiting mission to South Asia as a means of temporarily removing him from the complex. The owner did not publicly discipline the manager or remove the man from his employment, said Charles Kernaghan, the institute's director, and the lead author of the study.

Whats a few rapes of 13 year old girls, they aren't in school anyway.    When your working a 17 hour shift, 7 days a week,  its the only way they get a break.
