Jason Miller Embodies Republican Values

The tangled web that we weave. 

No one knew, when The Donald got into the Presidential race, with 16 other Republicans, that it would end up with David Dennison being sworn in as the 46th President of the United States.

Part of the reason he won, because his team handled the daily press barrage well.  Two of the people most responsible for that was Jason Miller and AJ Delgado.

While these two helped The Donald overcome the odds, lack of intelligence, experience and morals to actually become The President.   Their story also could not be any more GOP, Washington DC, Politics, Donald Trump if Dinesh D'Souza had written it himself.

Miller and Delgado were working the campaign together and ended up getting involved.   While Miller was married at the time, he told Delgado that he and his wife were seperated. 

The two began dating in mid-October, Delgado said, adding that while she knew Miller was married, he told her at the time that he was separated from his wife. “Among other things, I was really drawn to his talent,” she told me. “He is the best at what he does.” 

Delgado though made a major mistake to live in this world(besides believing the lies), she got pregnant and refused to have an abortion. 

But just a couple of weeks after Election Day, Delgado discovered she was pregnant. She held off at first on sharing the news, unsure of how Miller would take it.
“I finally told him one night when we were in bed and I couldn’t fall asleep,” she said.
Miller reacted calmly, Delgado recalled, but came back with some complicating news of his own. “Well this is going to be extra awkward for me to handle,” she remembers him saying, “because my wife is expecting.”

Ahh yes, Miller meant separated at that moment.   Delgado learned the hard way, that women are second class citizens in the new Trumpian GOP, and once people found out she was pregnant from the affair, she was ostracized. 

Miller however was rewarded with the job of White House Communications Director.  Apparently getting two women pregnant at once was very impressive to the Donald.  Unfortunately, for Jason, Delgado took to social media to let everyone know and Miller was forced to resign.

CNN however, the subject of much ridicule and scorn from the Trump administration, was not scared to show us how Stockholm Syndrome actually works and gladly hired Miller on as an "analyst". 

But wait there is more.  There is always more. 

It turns out Miller always considers himself separated from his wife when he in on the road because in 2012, he got a stripper in Orlando Florida pregnant (apparently condoms are not allowed in Trumpian GOP) and welcomed that news by making his stripper mistress a smoothie one day with the main ingredient being an abortion pill(unbeknownst to his mistress).

Millers problem was solved as his mistress lost the baby and bled out and almost died herself.   That absolved Miller of having to tell his wife about the stripper and have yet another child with his genes he refused to help pay for. 

It also allowed Miller to continue working Republican Communications to help get "pro-life" candidates elected.

God Bless America! 

 
But wait there is even more.... Miller, after he was forced out of CNN, was then hired as Managing Director of TENEO Holdings.  In case you do not know(and why would you), Teneo holdings was founded by Doug Band and Declan Kelly.  Both of these men are good friends of the Clintons and Band was actually Bill Clintons chief advisor for 9 years. 

It is a big club and you are not in it...but you do pay dearly for the dues. 

Evangelical Christians Honor With Their Lips & Not Their Hearts

We pointed out recently that Paul Ryan is a Catholic Extremist who really does not follow the teachings of Catholic Doctrine at all.   No matter what he says! 

(Edit Note: a quick follow up on that story, Father Conroy rescinded his resignation, showing that Ryan is also toothless).

Paul Ryan is not unique on the right.  As we take a look at one of the Donalds biggest supporters - Franklin Graham.   Graham, the son of the infamous Rev. Billy Graham, and idol of millions of Evangelical Christians in America. 

Here is Franklin Graham in during the Bill Clinton years:

“Few people have lived a more public life over the past 50 years than has my father, Billy Graham. I can assure you that the Billy Graham you see in public is the same one we children have seen at home. He has spent a lifetime making sure that his public ministry is confirmed in his private behavior.
The topic of private vs. public behavior has emerged as perhaps the central moral issue raised by Bill Clinton’s “improper relationship” with Monica Lewinsky. Much of America seems to have succumbed to the notion that what a person does in private has little bearing on his public actions or job performance, even if he is the president of the United States.
Last week Mr. Clinton told 70 million Americans that his adulterous actions with Ms. Lewinsky were a “private” matter “between me, the two people I love the most–my wife and our daughter–and our God.”
But the God of the Bible says that what one does in private does matter. Mr. Clinton’s months-long extramarital sexual behavior in the Oval Office now concerns him and the rest of the world, not just his immediate family. If he will lie to or mislead his wife and daughter, those with whom he is most intimate, what will prevent him from doing the same to the American public?
Private conduct does have public consequences. Some of Mr. Clinton’s defenders present King David of the Bible, one of history’s great leaders, as an example as they call on us to forgive and forget the president’s moral failings. Since God pardoned David’s adulterous act with Bathsheba, the reasoning goes, we should similarly forgive Mr. Clinton.
But forgiveness is not the end of David’s story. Huge consequences followed immediately. The prophet Nathan confronted David with the news that while his life would be spared, the life of his child would be extinguished after just seven days on earth. Bathsheba’s husband and others were killed in an attempt to cover up the illicit affair. David, who confessed his sin when confronted by Nathan (perhaps God’s special prosecutor), also witnessed a bloody coup attempt by his own son, Absalom. He was never the same king.
The private acts of any person are never done in secret. God sees and judges all sin, and while He seeks to restore the offender with love and grace, He does not necessarily remove all the consequences of our sin. As a boy I remember my mother telling me of the consequences of sin. Like a boat, whose wake can capsize other boats, sin leaves a wake. Just look at how many have already been pulled under by the wake of the president’s sin: Mr. Clinton’s wife and daughter, Ms. Lewinsky, her parents, White House staff members, friends and supporters, public officials and an unwitting American public.
Mr. Clinton’s sin can be forgiven, but he must start by admitting to it and refraining from legalistic doublespeak. According to the Scripture, the president did not have an “inappropriate relationship” with Monica Lewinsky–he committed adultery. He didn’t “mislead” his wife and us–he lied.
Acknowledgment must be coupled with genuine remorse. A repentant spirit that says, “I’m sorry. I was wrong. I won’t do it again. I ask for your forgiveness,” would go a long way toward personal and national healing.\
The scandal of Mr. Clinton and Ms. Lewinsky has forced us to examine the morality of public and private behavior with new intellectual and spiritual vigor. There needs to be no clash between personal conduct and public appearance. Throughout my life, I have seen consistency of the two in the Graham house. I pray this will also be true in the White House.”

After the news broke of The Donald's one night affair with Porn Star Stormy Daniels, while his third wife was home with his newborn baby, this is the current Franklin Graham:

I don’t have concern, in a sense, because these things happened many years ago — and there’s such bigger problems in front of us as a nation that we need to be dealing with than other things in his life a long time ago. I think some of these things — that’s for him and his wife to deal with. I think when the country went after President Clinton, the Republicans, that was a great mistake that should never have happened. And I think this thing with Stormy Daniels and so forth is nobody’s business. And we’ve got other business at hand that we need to deal with.
… On this thing with Stormy Daniels and so forth: This stuff happened 12 years ago. This isn’t behavior that has taken place since he’s been president. These things happened long before he became president. That doesn’t make it right. And I don’t defend those kinds of relationships he had. But the country knew the kind of person he was back then, and they still made the decision to make him the president of the United States. - Franklin Graham

The Clinton Family Cabinet

I was going to write about how Hillary Clinton would be a terrible President for the environment.   As Naomi Klein puts it:

Books have been filled with the failures of Clinton-style philanthrocapitalism. When it comes to climate change, we have all the evidence we need to know that this model is a disaster on a planetary scale. This is the logic that gave the world fraud-infested carbon markets and dodgy carbon offsets instead of tough regulation of polluters – because, we were told, emission reductions needed to be “win-win” and “market-friendly.”
If the next president wastes any more time with these schemes, the climate clock will run out, plain and simple. If we’re to have any hope of avoiding catastrophe, action needs to be unprecedented in its speed and scope. If designed properly, the transition to a post-carbon economy can deliver a great many “wins”: not just a safer future, but huge numbers of well-paying jobs; improved and affordable public transit; more liveable cities; as well as racial and environmental justice for the communities on the frontlines of dirty extraction.

Then Hillary had this to say:

If she's elected president, Hillary Clinton says she'll appoint her husband, Bill, to oversee the economy.
During a speech in Kentucky Sunday she referred to "my husband, who I will put in charge of revitalizing the economy 'cause he knows what he's doing."

Yowza.  I guess that is better than putting him in charge of our trade policy!   However it got me to thinking, since the Clintons are very well known for cronyism, who else in her family can she put in charge of our Government.  

The first one is Chelsea, although working for the non profit Clinton Foundation nets her over $600/k year.  Luckily for all of us, she really does not care about money!  

Philanthropy is her true passion, Clinton said, and that's why she permanently left Wall Street to join the Clinton Foundation, which she runs with her parents, former first couple Bill and Hillary Clinton.'I was curious if I could care about [money] on some fundamental level, and I couldn’t,' Clinton toldThe Telegraph. 'That wasn’t the metric of success I wanted in my life.

Because Chelsea is such a true philanthropist, I would say she could run the Department of Education, since she came to Madison to make fun of Bernie Sanders plan to give people free college education. Of course to do that she would need to give up her $11 million dollar apartment, $600,000/yr job and be thankful that she already paid for her $3 million dollar wedding prior to "serving" the public.

I also believe that the first son-in-law would do well as Secretary of the Treasury.  He is a Hedge Fund manager who is so amazing that he was able to actually save 10% of his clients investments!  

Chelsea Clinton’s husband is shutting down a hedge fund he founded after losing 90 percent of investors’ money.
Marc Mezvinsky promoted Eaglevale Hellenic Opportunity as a means to bet on, and profit from, a Greek economic recovery. The fund was a spinoff of Eaglevale Partners, a larger hedge fund founded by Mezvinsky and two colleagues from his days working at Goldman Sachs.

The best thing about Mr. Chelsea is his sticktoitiveness

 The effect on Mezvinsky’s hedge fund has been gruesome. It raised $25 million for its investments, but had already lost about 40 percent of its value by early 2015. Rather than shuttering the fund then, Mezvinsky pressed ahead.

Also there has to be a place for Chelsea's father-in-law, maybe in the Justice Department?  Who knows the criminal justice system better than a criminal?

On a darker note, federal prosecutors said Ed Mezvinsky habitually dropped the Clintons' names and boasted of their friendship during the 1990s as he defrauded friends, family members and institutions out of more than $10 million. 
Ed Mezvinsky was sentenced in 2003 to serve 80 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to a massive fraud that prosecutors said amounted to a Ponzi scheme. He was released from custody in April 2008, but remains under federal probation supervision. 
Both he and his wife were forced into bankruptcy, and they quietly divorced in 2007, court records show. 

It is unfortunate that we have finally had an administration free of real scandal and now we are apparently headed back to the Bush era of cronyism, self interests and unethical behavior.  

As they say - In a democracy, we get the Government we deserve!

 

Rand Paul Loves Women Like No One Else

Extreme right winger Rand Paul is the leading candidate for some to be the Republican nominee for president in 2016!  Yesterday he took his presidential ambitions to Meet The Press and used his time to tell us how much he loves women:

“We have a lot of debates in Washington that get dumbed down and are used for political purposes,” Paul told NBC’s David Gregory. “This whole sort of war on women thing, I’m scratching my head because, if there was a war on women, I think they won.”
As evidence, the Kentucky senator pointed out that none of the women in his family were complaining about inequality or having their health care rights curtailed by Republicans.
“You know, I don’t see so much that women are downtrodden, I see women rising up and doing great things,” he remarked. “In fact, I worry about our young men sometimes because I think the women really are out-competing the men in our world.”
Paul added that he tried to never talk about the female anatomy and that Republicans did not start the war on women “debate.”
“The facts show that women are doing very well, have come a long way,” he explained. “And I have a lot of successful women in my family. And I don’t here them saying, ‘Oh, woe is me, this terrible misogynist world.’ They look out and they’re conquering the world.”

Apparently if the women in the Rand Paul world are ok then the war on women is over - they won!  I guess Uncle Sugar really knew what side to pick!  However, as is so often the case with our friends on the right, reality does not match up to their rhetoric!

Women make up less than half of enrollees at law schools, according to the American Bar Association, and are way underrepresented on the federal bench. The percentage of women in medical school is also less than 50%. 

Then Rand, added selective memory to his blatant disregard of facts!

Paul later suggested that for President Bill Clinton was responsible for the “war on women” because he had an affair with an intern while he was in office during the 1990s.
“The media seems to have given President Clinton a pass on this,” Paul insisted. “There is no excuse for that, that is predatory behavior and it shouldn’t be something — we should’t want to associate with people who would take advantage of a young girl in his office.”
The potential Republican 2016 presidential candidate said that it was difficult to unlink Bill Clinton’s behavior from potential Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
“I think in my state, people tend to frown upon that,” he declared. “If there were someone in my community who did that in my community, they would be socially — we would disassociate from somebody who would take advantage of a young woman in a workplace.”

The problem with Mr. Paul is that when he was running for office, he never let anything like a woman get in his way.,n the way of his ambitions in the way.

Compare/Contrast - Jobs Edition

Today marks the one year anniversary of the republicans blocking the American jobs act!

On September 8, 2011 — one year ago tomorrow — President Obama laid out a series of policy proposals known collectively as the American Jobs Act. The plan included stimulus spending in the form of immediate infrastructure investments, tax credits for working Americans and employers to encourage consumer spending and job growth, and efforts to shore up state and local budgets to prevent further layoffs of teachers, firefighters, police officers, and other public safety officials.

The American Jobs Act never became law, however, because Republicans opposed it from the start, blasting it as another form of “failed stimulus” that wouldn’t help the economy. (They ignored the fact that the first “failed stimulus,” the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, wasn’t a failure at all.) One month later, the GOP blocked the bill in the Senate, preventing the creation of more than a million jobs and the added growth that multiple economists predicted would occur if the bill passed:

–Moody’s Analytics estimated the American Jobs Act would create 1.9 million jobs and add two percent to gross domestic product.
–The Economic Policy Institute estimated it would create 2.6 million jobs and protect an addition 1.6 million existing jobs.
–Macroeconomic Advisers predicted it would create 2.1 million jobs and boost GDP by 1.5 percent.
–Goldman Sachs estimated it would add 1.5 percent to GDP.

Then they have the audacity to say that the lack of jobs is proof we need a new president, when in reality it is proof we need a democratic congress!  

Compare/contrast that to the numbers that Bill Clinton shared with us this week:

"Since 1961 … our private economy has produced 66 million private-sector jobs. So what's the jobs score? Republicans 24 million, Democrats 42 (million)."

Is that really true?  Why yes it is! 

Let’s cut to the chase. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, here are the net increases in private-sector employment under each president, chronologically by party:
Republicans

Richard Nixon: Increase of 7.1 million jobs
Gerald Ford: Increase of 1.3 million jobs
Ronald Reagan: Increase of 14.7 million jobs
George H.W. Bush: Increase of 1.5 million jobs
George W. Bush: Decline of 646,000 jobs

Total: Increase of 23.9 million jobs under Republican presidents

Democrats

John F. Kennedy: Increase of 2.7 million jobs
Lyndon B. Johnson: Increase of 9.5 million jobs
Jimmy Carter: Increase of 9.0 million jobs
Bill Clinton: Increase of 20.8 million jobs
Barack Obama: Increase of 332,000 jobs
Total: Increase of 42.3 million jobs.

So the title of this post is misleading, because when it comes to Democrats V. Republicans in creating jobs - there really is NO comparison.  

Compare/Contrast - Former President Edition!

Day 2 of the Democratic National Convention, brought us another amazing speech. This time by former President Bill Clinton.

   Compare that to last week's Republican Convention where they have two living former Presidents(Father/Son Bush).  When it came time to ask the Republican former presidents to speak...we get this!

He was not invited!  It is almost as if he didn't exist(except for the plethora of Bush advisors now working for Mitt! 

"To have a divide and conquer strategy is nuts."

So, some guy name Bill Clinton, you might have heard of him, came to town on Friday:
