Somebody Bring Me Some Water.....

By Jeff Simpson

While there are many many many things more important than this, this was too much fun to pass up.

Today The Donald gave a speech and suddenly got thirsty:

Where have I seen that before???

In a minor takeoff of the CogDis line:

There is a tweet...there is always a tweet:

Except this time there is also video.  Our Kindergarten President can not just be satisfied with making fun of someone he needs to totally humiliate other people.

In our future, people will look back on this time, and wonder why in the hell would anyone vote for The Donald?

The GOPs Hidden Talents!!!

By Jeff Simpson

We know that the Republicans who are desperate to win the Presidency are debating pretty much weekly.   What we did not know though, is how talented they are!

In case you forgot, Marco Rubio can drink water and the dummy keeps talking.   Amazing!!

We found out even more tonight.  We know that Ted Cruz has a stomach of steel and can eat any color booger on his lip_ even white!!

via GIPHY

Finally GOP front runner Donald Trump is apparently a well endowed mutant(according to him)!

I guess that explains why he can keep trading in his younger wife for an even younger version.  Here is a picture of the Donald's current wife Melania!

Then, last and certainly least, John Kasich who after exhaustive research has no special abilities that sets himself apart but does like riding shotgun and breathing fresh air!!

Deez Nuts Are Topping Scott Walker

By Jeff Simpson

WWJD - What would Jefferson do(or say)?

It is estimated that the 2016 Presidential Election Spending could approach $5 Billion Dollars.  That is just when we get it down to two candidates, one from each party.  That does not take into account what is being wasted on the primaries.

The top 6 Candidates in fundraising, for their respective primaries (4 Republicans, 2 Democrats) are well over $300 Million and the 7th, Rick Perry has raised $15 Million dollars himself, but has stopped paying his staff because he is broke(For the record, Rick Perry got in the race 6/4 and blew through his $15 million by August 11).  All of this and the actual primaries do not even start until next year.

Now keep in mind that these guys are spending millions upon millions of dollars like its Monopoly money, and campaigning 24/7, when you see which candidate is rising in the polls.

DEEZ NUTS!

Seriously.

August 19, 2015
The latest Public Policy Polling numbers show a surprising presidential hopeful overtaking Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, and Scott Walker(ed. note: remember him) in North Carolina — and he's dead even with Marco Rubio, too. The independent candidate, registered as "Deez Nuts," is officially polling at 9 percent in North Carolina.

Image result for deez nuts

Yes you read that right, people like DEEZ NUTS, more than they like Carly Fiorina or Scott Walker.

Who is Deez Nuts?  Well most people are not sure, but they know he has to be better than the rest of the Republican Field!!

It turns out Deez Nuts, who says his real name is Brady Olson, is about to enter his sophomore year in high school, and has a full two decades to prepare for a legal run for president of the United States.A Mark C. Olson, who is listed at the Wallingford address on Deez Nuts's FEC filing, said via Twitter that Deez Nuts is "my 15 year old son."
A fifteen year old Iowa farmboy, is the clear fresh choice for those on the right.

If he joins forces with Ben Bushyhead, The rest of the Republican field had better make planes to head home.

Seriously though, what does it say about our crazy election process, when candidates are spending hundreds of millions of dollars, and campaign constantly, yet, some 15 yr old kid, came up with a fake name, and played a prank on the Republicans by getting on the ballot and rising in the polls?

I think Americans are losing out in that.

Walker - Rubio 2016?

Image from ABC News

Even though Scott Walker hasn't officially announced that he is running for president*, he is making overtures about teaming up with Marco Rubio as a ticket:
Already, there's murmuring: What about a Walker-Rubio ticket? Or a Rubio-Walker one?

“I've actually had quite a few people -- grassroots supporters, donors and others -- who have made that suggestion,” Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) said in an interview with Bloomberg Politics on Thursday, when asked if he would be at all interested in partnering with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.).

Granted, it's early -- Walker has not even announced if he will run or not, saying that he wants to wait until after his state's two-year budget is completed in early July -- but speculative political matchmaking has already begun. And these two have a lot in common: They are both 40-somethings with kids who talk up their humble roots and rank as some of the least wealthy potential presidential contenders.
As the article goes on to note, things haven't always been wonderful between the two:
But there has been a little bit of sparring between the two. In late April, both were in the Des Moines area for a Saturday evening political forum at a mega-church. Earlier that day, Rubio said in a meeting with the Des Moines Register editorial board that there was "no way" a governor like Walker could handle foreign relations.

"Governors can certainly read about foreign policy, and take briefings and meet with experts, but there is no way they'll be ready on Day 1 to manage U.S. foreign policy," said Rubio, now 44, according to the Des Moines Register.

Walker, upon hearing about this comment, fired back: “I think he’s questioning how Ronald Reagan was ready.”
Ironically, what Walker sees as being a positive actually exposes him for the novice and fool he really is:
Some who have talked privately to Walker about a possible pairing with Rubio say they have been surprised by how seriously the Wisconsin governor seems to be taking the prospect. At this phase of presidential campaign, the norm would be for a White House hopeful to summarily dismiss such a move, in public and in private.
When asked who would be the top of the ticket, Walker quipped that they might have to arm wrestle for it. Walker didn't indicate if he would wear his latex gloves for such a match:

*Walker is still waiting for God to tell him whether to run. In Walker's case, God is The Almighty Dollar.  If he gets enough Big Money backers, God will tell him to run.  If the Big Money goes elsewhere, God will tell him he's not done destroying Wisconsin.

Fact or Fiction?

By Jeff Simpson

I stumbled upon a discussion on facebook recently between a few people on the far right fringe of WI.  In it, they were discussing the popularity of different republicans in taking back the White House in 2016.

This was the original discussion post:

Good news for Wisconsin Republican and Conservatives! Paul Ryan has the highest approval number and Walker comes in 7th. Also 2 Floridian's Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush at 3rd an 4th most favorable.

I am beginning to believe that Ryan is still our best shot..but Rand Paul does have a chance...I'll still need to see how he contrasts with the Dem's candidate and how the centrists take to Rand Paul. My fear is the press will force him into defending or denying his Father's ideas and positions, which will take up a lot of the energy Rand would need to make his positive case.

Thoughts?

Which of course led to them lamenting amongst themselves that the only way a democrat can win is election fraud and that no republican can win statewide until we enact voter ID because despite the republicans massive popularity in our state, the democrats just cheat.

Without taking the time to point out that the republicans control every branch of government in WI or a myriad of other facts, someone posted this as "proof" -

Mark Lahti Well Jeff. Just for starters. I followed three different vans with out of state plates carrying around the same groups of people from one polling place to another. They all went in and same day registered then voted. While inside watching same day registrants I observed them all using a letter that appeared to be a form letter as some some proof of residency. This went on all day. That was just one polling place in one city. These type of reports were coming in from all areas. Fraud was RAMPANT. I saw it first hand. The problem with the system is that there is vertically nothing you can do after the fact. Voter ID will go a long way to curtail this.
Ken Brown Mark is correct, until we get a Statewide election for Governor or President with full Voter ID in place, we'll not get a good handle on just who much fraud is going on out there.

So my question to YOU is....do you really think that van loads of people with "out of state" plates were driving polling place to polling place and voting in the last election?

Fact or fiction?

Marco Rubio Puts His Foot Down!

By Jeff Simpson

The Right Wing's Thirsty Golden Boy, Marco Rubio, let everyone know he was serious today.  After hearing that the IRS had targeted right wing hate groups to see if they were actually following their 501c4 rules, he was very upset.

Rubio was so upset, that he took the time to fire off a letter to treasury Secretary Jack Lew demanding that the head of the IRS be fired immediately.

“Furthermore, it is clear the IRS cannot operate with even a shred of the American people’s confidence under the current leadership. Therefore, I strongly urge that you and President Obama demand the IRS Commissioner’s resignation, effectively (sic) immediately. No government agency that has behaved in such a manner can possibly instill any faith and respect from the American public.”

The problem?  There is no IRS Commissioner!

Douglas H. Shulman used to be the acting commissioner. He was appointed by the Bush administration in 2008. He already resigned this past November, showing us that Rubio is either unaware of what's going down in the IRS, or his demand for Shulman's resignation is so filled with outrage that it resonated into the past. Like a Flux Capacitor of anger.

Shulman's successor has yet to be appointed.

OOPS!  There is the rising star of the right doesn't have any idea what is happening at the IRS.  Might I suggest some quick research before he speaks next time?

Our inside sources tell us at CogDis that Rubio will also soon be asking for the resignation of the tooth fairy, the Great Pumpkin and the Kid President in order to fully revamp the office!

Republican Crazies

There is a serious effort after the Mitt/Paul election drubbing by the republican party to pretend that the crazies are the fringe and they are being weeded out.  It is just not true! Here are three more examples!

H/T Sam Seder & The Majority Report:

Remember that one, everytime Scott Walker/Reince Priebus tell us why they want to get rid of same day registration!

#2 Mitt wont quit!

#3 This guy is the republicans next great "thinker"?

Republican Voters - Do What You Are Told!

Mitt Romney is and you should also!    The republican party had a weekend retreat in Utah where they got their biggest donors together with potential VP picks.

Here is a picture of Mitt being shuttled in to the weekend meetings as a prop:

The purpose of the meeting was for the multi-billionaires and "bundlers" to decide who they wanted Mit to pick as his Vice Presidential running mate.

The three-day retreat in Park City - a town that boasts top-notch ski slopes and plays host to the Sundance Film Festival each year - brought together a crowd estimated at more than 700 people for socializing, issue panels and a campaign briefing by top Romney aides.

David Reinke, a donor from western Colorado, described the retreat as "quite comfortable and invigorating."
"I've found everybody to be quite approachable in and in quite high spirits," he said. A number of donors echoed the excitement and confidence among campaign staff and contributors that the election was going well.

Donors paid for their own flights to the area as well as their hotels, said Larry Conti, the guest of a top Romney contributor who asked not to be named.

After policy meetings and a reception at the nearby Utah Olympic Park on Friday, participants rose early Saturday morning for a speech by Arizona Sen. John McCain, who ran for president in 2008; a panel on "Innovation in America" featuring Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Hewlett Packard CEO Meg Whitman, Sen. John Thune, Rep. Paul Ryan and Home Depot founder and financier Ken Langone; a "media insight" discussion that included operatives Karl Rove and Mary Matalin; and a campaign briefing with Romney's top aides. On Sunday, the group is scheduled for a golf outing in nearby Heber City.

A weekend retreat in private, with a bunch of multi billionaires telling the elected republican officials exactly where what and how they will be running the presidential election and what the policies they must push are.  Sounds like a typical weekend for Paul Ryan (R- Wall St.).   Janesville and the first district of Wisconsin,  has never held paul's weekend interest, unless it is to march in a parade pretending he cares yet showing contempt to any who would talk to him

Do not pretend, that you(if your donations are under $500,000) that you have ever had any hand in policy making for the republican party. For that matter neither does Mitt.  he has so desperately wanted to be president for so long, and they sure tried to run someone else but could not find anyone who was not insane, to beat him.

Secondly, notice who was missing from the VP cattle call weekend.   Guys like Marco Rubio, Allen West, Michelle Bachman, etc... In a blatant diss of the far right "tea party" they did not invite any of the far right, ethically challenged loons, the master of the republican arty did not want these crazy bundlers and inherited billionaires to " fall in love" with one of the crazies and paint themselves into a corner.   They figured it is better to give them a list of people they can choose from instead of running a crazy like Sarah Palin that scares the voters of this country!

Stay tuned more fun to follow and let us hope they pick Paul Ryan!
