TOWN OF ONALASKA — ATK Ammunition announced plans Wednesday to close its sporting goods plant on Brice Prairie, eliminating 130 local jobs. The announcement came less than a year after the company added workers, bringing back a product line that had been made overseas. When a gun supply company can't make it during the middle of a gun rush, you know Walker is screwing things up by the numbers.
The plant, which has operated since the 1960s, makes such things as gun cleaning products, scope mounts, targets and replacement gun stocks.

The Walker Budget Is Already Working! Part XCVI

We all got less cash, we got less to buy the products.
ReplyDeleteAdd in that longer hours are put in, so not as much time to make use of the products.
And then if there is not a stable home to keep all these wonderful products in, it simply doesn't make sense to buy a lot it anyway.
Was this a union shop?
