Ron Johnson Permanently Attaches His Lips To Trump's Arse

Just a couple of days ago, Ron Johnson (R-Trump's Arse) tried to minimize Trump's attempt to use his office for political gain and extort Ukraine into investigating the Bidens.

Not that Trump has given up all pretense of trying to even pretend being innocent, asking China to also investigate his political opponents while ON CAMERA., RoJo simply shrugged and embraced Trump's criminality in a full body hug and permanently affixes his lips to Trump's arse (emphasis mine):

"I don't think there's anything improper about it," Johnson said. "We have proper agreements with countries to investigate potential crimes. I don't know what may or may not have happened with China and the Bidens, but I think an awful lot of those investigations can actually occur here in America."

Despite Trump's rhetoric, there is no evidence of any wrongdoing by Biden or his son in either China or Ukraine.

In Middleton, Johnson said there are a number of unanswered questions regarding Hunter Biden's business dealings in China, and that the American public, Democratic primary voters and Trump have a right to know about it.

"If there’s some scandal sitting outside there, whether it’s in Ukraine, between Vice President Biden’s son or in China, I would think they’d want to know that before they start casting their ballots in the Democratic primary," Johnson said.

RoJo not only condoned Trump's illegal and unethical behavior but spelled it out for even the most idiotic of the Republicans.

Then again, given RoJo's own past, he has no problem with someone using the power of their office for political or personal gain.

But as the gentle reader is probably expecting by now, there's more. There's always more. RoJo wasn't done showing what a moron and liar he really is:

After playing dumb on a letter he cosigned in 2016 urging Ukraine's leaders to clean up the corruption in their government, RoJo actually said this:

"I don't engage in hypocrisy," Johnson said. "I'm looking at getting the truth, I'm trying to be supportive of eastern European countries."

The hypocrisy and self-contradiction just speaks for itself.

American Mediocrity

While we as a Nation have had some dark times, one of the shining times in our nation is when President Kennedy challenged our Country in 1961. 

We have had our failures, but so have others, even if they do not admit them. And they may be less public.
To be sure, we are behind, and will be behind for some time in manned flight. But we do not intend to stay behind, and in this decade, we shall make up and move ahead.
The growth of our science and education will be enriched by new knowledge of our universe and environment, by new techniques of learning and mapping and observation, by new tools and computers for industry, medicine, the home as well as the school. Technical institutions, such as Rice, will reap the harvest of these gains.
And finally, the space effort itself, while still in its infancy, has already created a great number of new companies, and tens of thousands of new jobs. Space and related industries are generating new demands in investment and skilled personnel, and this city and this State, and this region, will share greatly in this growth. What was once the furthest outpost on the old frontier of the West will be the furthest outpost on the new frontier of science and space. Houston, your City of Houston, with its Manned Spacecraft Center, will become the heart of a large scientific and engineering community. During the next 5 years the National Aeronautics and Space Administration expects to double the number of scientists and engineers in this area, to increase its outlays for salaries and expenses to $60 million a year; to invest some $200 million in plant and laboratory facilities; and to direct or contract for new space efforts over $1 billion from this Center in this City.
To be sure, all this costs us all a good deal of money. This year¹s space budget is three times what it was in January 1961, and it is greater than the space budget of the previous eight years combined. That budget now stands at $5,400 million a year--a staggering sum, though somewhat less than we pay for cigarettes and cigars every year. Space expenditures will soon rise some more, from 40 cents per person per week to more than 50 cents a week for every man, woman and child in the United Stated, for we have given this program a high national priority--even though I realize that this is in some measure an act of faith and vision, for we do not now know what benefits await us.

President Kennedy, pulled the Nation together for a greater vision and a goal that everyone bought into.   This led to many technological advancements and much progress as a nation, and true national pride and acceptance. 

Fast Forward the clock 56 some years later and our President makes this speech:

The Donald does not necessarily want to go to the moon but instead wants to create a Space Force.  A Space Force, with no actual details, plans or even interest in doing anything but giving an unintelligible speech with no thought, interest or actual intent.   

What happens when we go from a President wanting to be an inclusive, advanced nation to one that  wants to punish anyone who criticizes him?

Now that our media has been labeled #fakenews , and the media that is left spends their time chasing The Donald around like a lost puppy, you may have missed this:

BEIJING — China’s burgeoning space program achieved a first on Thursday: a landing on the so-called dark side of the moon.
The United States, the then-Soviet Union and more recently China have all sent spacecraft to the near side of the moon, which faces Earth, but this is the first-ever landing on the other side.
The China National Space Administration said the 10:26 a.m. landing of the Chang'e-4 lunar explorer has “opened up a new chapter in human lunar exploration.
 

We are not getting beat in the race anymore, we have dropped out of it completely. 

 We used to aspire to greatness.... now we aspire to piss off liberals. 

The first step to solving any problem is to recognize there is one.....

There is most definitely a problem that needs solving!

The Cowardly Ryan

The biggest problem is the cowardly Ryan is currently the Ringmaster.

Paul Ryan has had a rough 2016.   Ryan has went from mega rich under the radar career politician, to Speaker of the House for the Republicans, to being completely shamed by the Republican nominee for for President, Donald Trump.

The problem with Paul Ryan's year/career can be pointed out in one glowing example.

A.  After FBI Director James Comey, strangely, held a press conference to say, he would not be bringing charges against Hillary Clinton over her email problems.   Big Government Paul Ryan (R-Wall St.) has decided he has seen all of the evidence he needs (the D behind her name) and wrote a letter to the Director of National Intelligence and ask that Secretary Clinton's access to classified information be revoked.

B.  Now fast forward to July 28 and we see a completely different Paul Ryan.  One who is not so interested in holding up the Constitution or Rule of Law when  certain other people (anyone with an R after their name) break it.

 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said he hoped Russian hackers would be able to find missing emails from competitor Hillary Clinton’s personal email server.“Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you find the 33,000 emails that are missing. I think you’ll be rewarded mightily by our press!” Trump said during a news conference Wednesday.

Speaker Ryan recently called out Donald Trump for being a racist, but textbook racism did not seem to bother Mr. Ryan as he still strongly supports The Donald for President.

Surely, borderline treason will cause Paul Ryan to pause right?  Not so much!

Almost as soon as Mr. Trump spoke, other Republicans raced in to try to reframe his remarks and argue that Russia should be punished. A spokesman for Speaker Paul D. Ryan termed Russia “a global menace led by a devious thug.” The spokesman, Brendan Buck, added: “Putin should stay out of this election.”

A spokesman pointing a finger at Putin and completely ignoring The Donald's role in this is hardly courageous.  

In case you were wondering, The Donald will soon start receiving national security briefings.   I wonder if Mr. Ryan will call for an end to that(I am kidding, I know the answer)?

On this very day, Paul Ryan released a new campaign ad, laughingly called integrity. because he has a primary battle against a real conservative - Paul Nehlen.

The one real moment is where Mr. Ryan is praying.  Luckily at Cogdis we got an inside tip that Mr. Ryan is praying that people keep focused on the The Donald sideshow and not look at the incompetent circus he is running from the main stage!

Bernie V Hillary - Which Side Are You On?

Last night, as we gear up for next weeks primary in New York, Bernie Sanders held a rally which drew by some estimates up to 50,000 people! 

In 2008, then Senator Obama drew a crowd about half this size and the New York Times called it the tipping point in the election. When Bernie draws that crowd it is barely covered.   I guess we know what the saying "Two Americas" means. 

Now lets look into what Hillary was doing at this time.  At a fund raiser in Communist Beijing, China with Goldman Sach's own Gary Gensler.  I couldnt afford the $3000/plate and plane ticket to get there but I am assuming that Mr. Gensler and Ms. Clinton did not mention the $5 Billion dollar fine that Goldman Sachs was just given for selling faulty mortgage securities to their investors.  At least it allowed the owners of sweat shops to give lots of money to Hillary to help influence American elections. 




But Wait!  There is more.   Probably the biggest difference between the two and why Bernie draws 50,000 people for free and Hillary draws a couple hundred rich folks with big checks.   

Verizon went on strike yesterday.   

Senator Sanders, in a show of solidarity, walked the picket lines with the workers who are just trying to get a fair wage for their hard work.   The 111 Billion dollar company did not get that big without the work of many hard working employees.  



The company is doing well enough that Verizon Communications Inc. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Lowell McAdam received $18.3 million in total compensation last year, a 16 percent increase.

While Bernie was walking the picket line, we found out that Hillary was taking in hundreds of thousands of dollars from Verizon.

The Hillary Clinton campaign, meanwhile, has received tens of thousands of dollars from Verizon executives and lobbyists.
That’s not all. For a May 2013 speech, the corporation paid Clinton a whopping $225,000 honorarium, according to her tax records.
Verizon has also given between $100,000 and $250,000 to the Clinton Foundation, which investigative journalist Ken Silverstein has referred to as a “so-called charitable enterprise [that] has served as a vehicle to launder money and to enrich family friends.”
Moreover, the Clinton Foundation has partnered directly with Verizon, which is notorious for its vehement opposition to unions. The corporation is a partner in the Clinton Health Matters Initiative, and said it is “proud to partner with the Clinton Foundation.”

I did not have an extra $225000 to pay to see Hillary's speech, which is why she uses white noise machines so only paying customers can hear her.

I was however able to pay the fee to hear Bernie Sanders give his speech(it was free) to the Verizon workers. Instead of begging for the transcripts, we have actual video.

Scott Walker: Only I Can Meet With The Chinese

Not far removed from the hard working taxpayers of Wisconsin, sending Scott Walker on a campaign trip to China:

Gov. Scott Walker will lead a trade mission to China starting Friday, and he won't be alone among governors pitching their states' companies there.
Walker will lead a group of business leaders on his first overseas trade mission, a portion of which will involve group meetings with other governors also leading their own trade missions.
The choice of China for the governor's first trip is significant given the size of the market and the growing activity of Wisconsin companies exporting there: China didn't rank in the top 10 among export markets for Wisconsin businesses 10 years ago, but it has been climbing steadily, ranking third in 2012 behind Mexico and Canada.
Wisconsin exports to China totaled $1.5 billion last year, up 12% from 2011. China also ranks third among Wisconsin's agricultural export markets.

Now Chinese President Xi Jinping is planning a state visit to the United States to meet with President Obama and snot nose Scotty is double dog daring President Obama to refuse to meet. 

Gov. Scott Walker on Monday called for President Barack Obama to cancel Chinese President Xi Jinping’s state visit to the United States, urging the president to show "some backbone."
Jinping is scheduled to visit the U.S. in September.
Walker's statement comes in the midst of plummeting stock prices in the U.S., a result of global concerns tied to China's economic slowdown. The drop is being referred to in China as "Black Monday."
"Americans are struggling to cope with the fall in today's markets driven in part by China's slowing economy and the fact that they actively manipulate their economy. Rather than honoring Chinese President Xi Jinping with an official state visit next month, President Obama should focus on holding China accountable over its increasing attempts to undermine U.S. interests," Walker said in a statement

 Of course when we paid for Scott Walker to go there, he was singing a different tune:

Obama and Xi also had an informal meeting in California in 2013. The same year, Walker led his first overseas trade mission to China, meeting with Xi and opening a trade center to give Wisconsin businesses "expanded access to growing markets."
"In a lot of states in America, we’d like to have that kind of slow growth they are projecting" even in some of China’s slower-expanding regions, Walker said in an interview in Shanghai, Forbes reported in 2013. "We’re still very big on doing business in Shanghai in particular, but throughout the country."

Still undisputed: Mary Burke profited from company that took taxpayer $ & sent jobs to places like China where avg rate is less than $2/hr

Apparently he either never knew or must have forgotten about the millions of dollars in taxpayer money WEDC gave to firms that then shipped jobs overseas.    He has also forgotten that his good buddy Paul Ryan ran on a presidential ticket where they bragged about the wonderful working conditions of China:

Scott Walker has also been to China a few times (on our dime) yet I can not find a single news paper article or story on where he complained about the labor while he was there.   As a matter of fact here he is in a meeting with Chinese Consul General Zhao Weiping, probably discussing how he can enact similar wages in WI:



While I do think we have a problem with the amount of outsourced jobs in this country, I do not think Scott Walker is the person to be complaining about it, especially from his glass high rise!   

The Real Reason Scott Walker Went To China

He went to visit the money we're hemorrhaging to them through our trade deficit:

The $1.5 billion in exports seems like a lot until you compare it with Wisconsin’s annual imports from China.

A look at U.S. Census Bureau data (Foreign Trade Statistics, State Data Series, based on 2011 dollars) regarding foreign trade shows that Wisconsin’s imported $5.7 billion from China in 2012.

That’s right. All the pomp and circumstance really equals roughly a $4.2 billion trade deficit with China.

I sure hope he didn't go over there just to make up the deficit by selling our land for them to do with whatever they want.

The Walker Agenda Is Still Working! Part CLXXV

As Scott Walker is in China to sell off our assets for a few yuans in campaign contributions, he is still driving off our jobs as well:

Wisconsin lost 8,500 jobs in March, and the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment remained at 7.1 percent, according to the latest report released today by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD).

The DWD cited U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics seasonally adjusted numbers that indicated Wisconsin lost 7,400 government jobs in March, including 3,600 state government jobs, 3,200 local government jobs and 600 federal government jobs.
Wisconsin also lost 1,100 private sector jobs in March, according to the report.
The state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for February was revised down to 7.1 percent from the preliminary estimate of 7.2 percent.

Or, in MacIver math, Wisconsin added another 30,000 jobs and will meet and beat his goal of 250,000 jobs by Tuesday.

Out of curiosity, has anyone looked into how much it would cost for the Chinese to just keep him over there? It'll probably be expensive since they are already experiencing the Walker effect on their own economy. But no matter the cost, I bet we could raise it in no time flat.

China Meets with Wisconsin (Manufacturers and Commerce)

A month ago, I questioned who were going to get those mining jobs in Northern Wisconsin - if they ever do materialize.  In said article, I referred the gentle reader to the fact that Canadian mining companies were bringing Chinese miners to do the work, instead of hiring the local miners:

A major B.C. labour organization denounced on Monday the “mass importation” of Chinese workers to mine coal in the northeast part of the province, saying it is “preposterous” to suggest British Columbians don’t have the skills to fill close to 2,000 full-time jobs destined for foreign workers.

“We want to register our grave concerns about the uses and abuses of the Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) program as it relates to projects in British Columbia,” the organization told Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Premier Christy Clark in an open letter.

It was issued by the Bargaining Council of the B.C. Building Trades Unions, made up of 15 unions representing 35,000 craft construction workers, including underground miners.

“We believe this mass importation of labour is completely unnecessary and is simply a strategy to employ lower-paid workers who are compliant with the culture of coal mining in China,” wrote BCBCBTU President Mark Olsen.

“The coal mining in that country is patently unsafe and the industry there shows little regard for the life, health and well-being of the workers in that country.”

It's a serious enough concern that Senator Dave Hansen is asking for answers.

The answers are starting to look not so good, especially when we see something like this:

On March 18, Chinese Consul General Zhao Weiping met with Mr. Kurt Bauer, President of Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce in Madison, the capital city of Wisconsin. They exchanged views on the trade and investment cooperation between China and Wisconsin.

Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce (WMC) are huge proponent of the mine.  I'm sure that there was a lot of discussion regarding that.

It's bad enough that it looks like the Chinese are looking to invest and/or mine our natural resources.  They are going to be much less prone to worry about the environment impacts - even with the Republicans having loosened all the safety nets - since they won't be here to deal with the impact of the mining.

But I can't help but wonder if Scott Walker gave WMC permission to speak on the state's behalf, or whether WMC had included that when they bought Walker in the first place.

Sen. Hansen Goes Mining For Answers

Just the other day, I questioned just who are supposed to get those mining jobs that Scott Walker and his Republican sock puppets in the legislature have been promising us.

It's doubtful that it's Wisconsinites, since the Republicans killed the amendment that would have ensured that those jobs would be filled by residents of our state.

State Senator Dave Hansen Brings up some very good and rather important questions about this matter as well in a press release:

A little known provision tucked inside the state budget that would repeal a law in place since 1887 that protects Wisconsin land from being controlled by large foreign corporations or governments is leading people to question why the change is being made, who stands to benefit and why is the provision buried deep inside the state budget?

“People deserve to know the details behind this mysterious effort to repeal a longstanding law that is in place to preserve the state’s economic sovereignty, especially during a time when foreign countries like China are becoming increasingly aggressive in their attempts to gain economic advantage over the United States,” said Hansen.

Some are questioning whether the provision is somehow tied to a proposed iron ore mine in northern Wisconsin and whether it is designed to clear the way for the mining rights to be sold to a foreign competitor like China.

“Throughout the mining debate we heard over and over again that Gogebic Mining, which does coal mining and owns the rights to the mineral deposit in northern Wisconsin, has no interest in actually doing the mining themselves, that they would prefer to sell the rights to someone else,” said Hansen.

“Perhaps it’s a coincidence that we now find out about this obscure provision that could allow the mine to be sold to a Chinese-owned corporation. Whatever the answers, people have a right to know who is behind this, who stands to benefit and why this provision is buried in the budget rather than being debated on its own merits.”

China is the world’s largest producer of iron ore and as one of the world’s largest markets they have the ability to affect supply and prices. China has also recently begun expanding its mining operations outside of its borders, including opening the massive Sino Iron project at Cape Preston, in Western Australia's Pilbara region.

Others have suggested it could be related to the Governor’s announced trip to China in April or to plans by foreign corporations to buy up large tracts of farmland.

“Whatever the reason, people have a right to know the answers to yet another mystery wrapped inside the riddle that is the Republican state budget.”

I just hope that Hansen or anyone else is holding their breaths for Walker or any of the other Republicans will come out with a straight answer any time soon.  I'm not so sure they would know the truth if it bit them.

Sheldon!

Recently WPRI flunky and former purple project blargher(why did she disappear) Sunny Schubert expressed her admiration for Sheldon Adelson (for being a former democrat and all of the "good" he has done- emphasis mine):  

As an example of the evils of Citizens United, she mentioned that “billionaire Las Vegas casino magnate Sheldon Adelson… can donate tens of millions of dollars” to support conservative/Republican candidates and causes.
In case you know Adelson only as a rich Republican donor, you might be interested to learn that he is the son of poor Jewish immigrants who came to the United States in the 1930s. His Lithuanian-born father was a taxi driver; his British-born mother ran a knitting shop. “Like most Jews around the country, being Democrat was part of our identity, as much a feature of our collective personality as our religion,” he wrote in a moving piece in the Wall Street Journal titled “I didn’t leave the Democrats; the Democrats left me.”
One of the factors that prompted Adelson to become Republican, he writes, is the Democrats’ waning support for Israel. “There is now a visceral anti-Israel movement among rank-and-file Democrats,” he says.
Another factor is Democrats moving away from traditional values like charity and neighborliness, he says, and toward government dependency. Adelson notes that “states that vote Republican are now far more generous to charities than those voting Democratic. In 2008, the seven least-generous states all voted for President Obama.”
While Adelson acknowledges that government does have a role to play in aiding the poor, he quotes political scientist Walter Russell Mead in describing what over-reliance on government has done to the Democratic stronghold of Illinois:
“Illinois politicians, including the present president of the United States, have wrecked one of the country’s potentially most prosperous and dynamic states, condemned millions of poor children to substandard education, failed to maintain vital infrastructure, choked business development and growth through unsustainable tax and regulatory policies—and still failed to appease the demands of the public sector unions and fee-seeking Wall Street crony capitalists who make billions off the state’s distress.”
Adelson goes on, but I won’t, because you can read it for yourself – if you’re remotely interested in what motivates conservatives. (Hint: It’s not racism, sexism or homophobia.)

In case you do not know the real Adelson, he gave $150,000,000 to help get republicans elected in the last election cycle.  No wonder the righties love him, I guess buying elections is a "traditional value". 

However there is something else he has done recently - break the law and then in the interest of "traditional neighboliness", met with members of the republican congress to change the laws he broke:

“[T]here were likely violations of the books and records and internal controls provisions” of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the company said in its annual regulatory report published on Friday. Late last year, Adelson reportedly held meetings with at least one House GOP leader to discuss “possible changes to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act,” arguing that he had been the target of federal investigations under the Act as retribution for his strong support for Republican candidates.
The Las Vegas Sands Corporation is suspected of improperly and in some cases illegally bribing Chinese government officials to expand its business in China. The company may have violated the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act with a $700,000 payment to a Chinese associate and worked with organized crime gangs to drive business from mainland China to their Macau casino.

In case you wonder if Adelson's lack of morals and continual breaking of the law would scare away any republicans?  Think again!

 Since the election, Adelson said that plans to double his contributions to Republican candidates and with an estimated net worth of almost $25 billion, he could theoretically spend $500,000 on every single Republican House and Senate nominee for the next 186 years.

Thank God the Democratic Party is NOT aligned with Adelson's morals!  


 

Um, Yeah, About Those Mining Jobs

Scott Walker and the Republicans have been trying to justify their ramming through the mining bill (a bill of the mining companies, for the mining companies, by the mining companies) by stating that it will create lots of jobs.

Oddly, the number of jobs this is supposed to create keeps going up.  The last I saw, it was 7,000 jobs.  It must be up to 15,000 by now.

But they never say who is going to get those jobs.  Charlie Sykes, mouthpiece for the Teapublicans, keeps telling us since the iron ore they are after is here in Wisconsin, the jobs can't be outsourced.

Wanna make a bet?

Disaster Averted!

Just think we could be ready to have Mitt Romney/Paul Ryan sworn in soon and our country would be in great peril.   Luckily they took a well deserved beating on election day and we will never have to worry about either of them in power ever again!

As a perfect case in point why Mitt/Gilligan were the absolute worst people to ever run a country, especially to run a country trying to recover from a recession.    I offer up exhibit #1!

When Mitt was at Bain "Vulture" Capitol, he made a trip to China where he fell in love with the way they do business!

 When I was back in my private equity days, we went to China to buy a factory there. It employed about 20,000 people. And they were almost all young women between the ages of about 18 and 22 or 23. They were saving for potentially becoming married.
And they work in these huge factories, they made various uh, small appliances. And uh, as we were walking through this facility, seeing them work, the number of hours they worked per day, the pittance they earned, living in dormitories with uh, with little bathrooms at the end of maybe 10, 10 room, rooms. And the rooms they have 12 girls per room.
Three bunk beds on top of each other. You've seen, you've seen them? (Oh...yeah, yeah!) And, and, and around this factory was a fence, a huge fence with barbed wire and guard towers. And, and, we said gosh! I can't believe that you, you know, keep these girls in! They said, no, no, no. This is to keep other people from coming in.

This is the republican way that 56 million Americans voted for....but as we know, reality gets in the way of republican talking points!  

The factory that Romney fell in lust with, was probably trying to keep family members of the forced workers from trying to save their children.  Reality Bites Again!

Oregon resident Julie Keith was shocked when she opened her $29.99 Kmart Halloween graveyard decoration kit to find a letter, folded into eights, hidden between two Styrofoam tombstones.
Coming all the way from unit 8, department 2 of the Masanjia Labor Camp in Shenyang, China, the letter written mostly in English read,

"Sir: If you occasionally buy this product, please kindly resend this letter to the World Human Right Organization. Thousands people here who are under the persicution of the Chinese Communist Party Government will thank and remember you forever."

The letter went on to describe 15 hour work days, no days off, and pay at 10 yuan per month ($1.61 US Dollar) if any. It also described the 1-3 year average forced labor terms without trial, and the large amount of Falun Gong practitioners in forced labor, a banned spiritual group.

I wonder if there are any republicans in office who would offer up their young daughters to work for 15 hour days/7 days a week for $1.61 A MONTH.....what is Tagg's job anyway?  Maybe Tagg could run over there for a month and job shadow!   Is that really a vision that they see in America.  Do 46 million people want this to be our way of life?  It is kind of hard to cut the salary of someone making $1.61/Month.

At least they are not unionized because unions are out of date....

This is also the kind of working conditions that our own Senator Ron Johnson called "creative destruction" for his love of shipping jobs to China.

Mitt Romney's Job Plan!

Mitt Romney keeps telling us that he will create 12 million jobs. He will not tell us how, but he will, we just have to trust him!

Luckily for us, Mitt Romney has been running for president for the last 8 years so we can go back and see what he has had to say about jobs:

 And working conditions for those jobs??

Thanks Mitt, I knew you would tell us the details eventually!

At the dinner, Romney also said that the campaign purposefully was using Ann Romney "sparingly... so that people don't get tired of her." And he noted that he had turned down an invitation from Saturday Night Live because such an appearance "has the potential of looking slapstick and not presidential."

Paul Ryan Has Nothing but Contempt for his Constituents!

Just look at how he treats them! Here is video of paul ryan(R-Wall St.) and his wife getting ready to walk in the labor day parade in Janesville, WI. A constituent comes up to pink slip paul and asks a legitimate question.

Q: Do I need to work for $1 an hour to be competitive with China?
 A. paul ryan: Would you like some candy? Packer/Badger Schedule?

The look on his face is pure contempt that this plebe is bothering him. You can also see the look on his wife’s face that she can’t wait to shower the smell of the lower class off of her.

This is who the people of the 1st Congressional district of Wisconsin want representing them in Congress? Also be sure to check out how he holds on for dear life to the stroller using his kids as a human shield. What a brave warrior he is.

Mitt Romney: Captain Courageous

There was a big deal made recently(and rightly so) when it was found out that the 2012 Us Olympic Uniforms were made in China!  This brought about bi-partisan agreement that this was not the smartest thing to do.  So much so, that most politicians were finding the nearest microphone so they could condemn it! 

Everyone that is but Mitt Romney!

To be fair to Mitt though, the last thing he wants is to have a discussion on how the Olympics are being run.  He does NOT want people to examine his record running the Salt Lake City Olympics!
