The Concealed Carry Cost Savings

By Jeff Simpson

We know from Milwaukee's own vigilante lawman, and handicap parker,  Sheriff David Clarke that you can not trust the police it is up to you to arm yourself.

In the ad, a baritone-voiced Clarke sets an ominous tone: "I'm Sheriff David Clarke, and I want to talk to you about something personal: your safety."
With officers laid off and furloughed, Clarke says, calling 911 and waiting for police is no longer your best bet. "You could beg for mercy from a violent criminal, hide under the bed, or you could fight back. But are you prepared?" he asks. "Consider taking a certified safety course in handling a firearm so you can defend yourself until we get there. You have a duty to protect yourself and your family."

We see yesterday how right he was.

There was a hostage situation in Neenah yesterday

Police say a person who was shot in an attack at a motorcycle shop in Neenah has died.
Neenah police held an updated briefing for media around 7 p.m. Saturday to share details of a hostage situation that happened Saturday morning at Eagle Nation Cycles in Neenah.
WBAY-TV reports more than three but fewer than 10 hostages were inside the building during the standoff. A citizen was shot and has died. A Neenah officer was also hurt but has since been treated and released from the hospital. Police say the shots hit his ballistic helmet.
One person has been arrested but police are not releasing any names of those involved at this time. Police say roughly 75 officers responded to the scene.
According to experts like Clarke, we just needed "one good guy" with a gun to defend himself and we could have left the 75 Police officers to do other more important things.

The same thing happened recently with the San Bernadino shooters.   After their reign of terror, they were tracked down by a 13 member SWAT team.

These people could have been home with their families, if only a "good guy with a gun" would have been on campus to defend everyone and stop the shootings.

  1. San Bernardino police did an excellent job. They were there in four minutes. Count off 4 minutes on your stopwatch, my liberal-progressive-socialist acquaintance. Victims who can shoot back live longer. Crazy-making that you would blame self-defense for the San Bernardino massacre. Or maybe ISIS should know that the next time — for there WILL be a next time — a dozen or more would-be victims will be ready for them.

Reading comprehension is a huge problem with you obviously. I didnt blame concealed carry for it, I said that if someone good guy with a gun had been there things would have been different and we wouldnt have needed a highly trained 13 member SWAT team to take them out in a shootout.

Some untrained macho man with a handgun could have done it.

    1. No, your meaning is unmistakable. You are mocking concealed carry. " If only a 'good guy with a gun' [your snotty quotation marks] would have been on campus to defend everyone and stop the shootings" the police could have stayed home.

Further, you assume that concealed carry holders spend no time at the firing range. You don't know anything about firearms, do you, Jeff.

  3. No I am mocking people who actually think that people who conceal carry could have done anything to stop a tragedy like this except probably make it worse
