Tiffany, Fitzgerald Compare Biden To Hugo Chavez

US Representatives Tom Tiffany and Scott Fitzgerald, both devout MAGAts and GQP, sent out a fundraiser letter in which they tried to compare Joe Biden to the late Hugo Chavez.

The report comes from James Wigderson at White Wisconsin, er, Right Wisconsin, who took over the site when Charlie Sykes left for the glamour and big bucks of national TV:

Congressmen Tom Tiffany (R-WI) and Scott Fitzgerald (R-WI) are asking for your money to prevent President Joe Biden from doing to America what Hugo Chavez did to Venezuela.

No, really. We can’t make this stuff up.

“It took Hugo Chavez years to push Venezuela’s once-prosperous economy to brink of collapse,” Tiffany and Fitzgerald wrote in an email to their fundraising list. “But just over 100 days into Joe Biden’s term, he and Nancy Pelosi’s ‘rubber stamp’ Congress are taking our country down that same dangerous road.”

The “road” the congressmen then describe is the shutdown of an oil pipeline due to cyberterrorism, which they claim is the fantasy of Biden, Pelosi, Michigan Governor Christine Whitmer and the rest of the Democratic Party.

“If they get their way, the gas lines and fuel shortages gripping parts of our country today could go national tomorrow,” Fitzgerald and Tiffany wrote.

Wigderson goes on to remind his readers of who Chavez was and what he did:

Let’s remember what Chavez actually did in Venezuela. He declared “economic war” on wealthy opponents, nationalized industries, used mobs to attack his opponents, violently suppressed the previously-free press, and arrested his critics. In addition, Chavez ran up deficit spending and instituted prices controls, resulting in shortages across the country (including food). In directing Venezuela’s foreign policy, Chavez preferred the support of dictatorships. At home, Chavez expressed his admiration for past dictators in South America and even employed Cuban and Peronist advisors.

Gee, doesn't that sound more like their beloved Trump than anyone else?

Obviously, Tiffany and Fitzgerald are hoping to appeal to their fellow QAnon conspiracy believers for cash.  Chavez is a popular bogeyman among that crowd since they believe that Chavez, who dies in 2013, was one of the lead culprits in "stealing" the election for Biden.

It's amazing how much cognitive dissonance they are willing to display so as not to upset their fragile sense of reality.

WISGOP In Complete Meltdown Mode Over Election Results

 Unless the gentle reader is living in a cave with no contact with the outside world, they are aware that Republicans are having a very difficult time accepting the reality that Trump lost the election a few weeks ago.  It is unfathomable to them that the majority of voters would reject Trump, who is their lord and savior.

And there are none worse than those in Wisconsin.  Even before the election, they followed suite of Trump by throwing around baseless conspiracy theories of voter fraud, election fraud and other easily debunked lies.

Then, at Trump's request, Wisconsin needed to do a recount.  But instead of doing the entire state, Trump singled out just two counties, Dane and Milwaukee.  This was not by accident.  Dane and Milwaukee Counties are not only the two biggest Democratic strongholds in the state, but they also are the home of the two largest minority populations.

Since the recall started, Republican observers have done their best to obstruct the process.  They complained about not being close enough to see the ballots and myriad of other details.  But despite supposedly not being able to see the ballots, they managed to find enough to challenged tens of thousands of these ballots. Even if they managed to win half of the challenges, it would be enough to change the outcome of the state's election.

The gentle reader should be made aware that this wasn't just an act of desperation on the Republican's part, but their actual stategy, as outlined by James Wigderson, a right wing blogger who said the quiet part out loud:

The plan is to challenge enough early absentee ballots and mail-in ballots to randomly draw down enough ballots in Milwaukee and Dane Counties to give President Donald Trump the lead in Wisconsin. 

To throw out the early absentee ballots, the state Republican Party is claiming that every person needed to fill out an application before. receiving a ballot to vote early in person. However, they are not challenging the early votes anywhere else but in Milwaukee and Dane Counties.

Because there is no way to connect the ballot with the early voter, a ballot would have to be drawn at random to be thrown out.

In addition, the Republicans want to throw out the ballots of the "indefinitely confined." Legislative Republicans included that provision in their voter ID law to avoid disenfranchising elderly voters. A lawsuit prevented Dane County from abusing that provision, but not before thousands followed the bad advice of County Clerk Scott McDonell. It's no irony that the GOP would now use the law to protect the elderly vote against elderly voters, it's the plan.

Meanwhile, a Republican State Representative, Joe Sanfelippo, actually had the gall to suggest that the whole election results be tossed and that the electors be put into the hands of the Republican-controlled legislature.

Now, a conservative group, Wisconsin Voters' Alliance, has taken Sanfelippo's bizarre train of thought even further by filing a lawsuit with the Wisconsin Supreme(ly Corrupt) Court, asking that the election results be declared null and void.  The difference this time is that their lawsuit is based on the supposed undue influence of Mark Zuckenberg donating money to certain areas to help get the election done despite of the COVID 19 pandemic:

The lawsuit, brought by the nonprofit Wisconsin Voters Alliance along with a number of individual voters, makes a number of unsubstantiated and far-fetched claims about Wisconsin's elections process, some of which are similar to those made by President Donald Trump's campaign in the ongoing recount in Dane and Milwaukee counties.

Central to the lawsuit is the allegation that several Wisconsin cities — Madison, Kenosha, Racine, Milwaukee and Green Bay — unlawfully accepted $6 million from the Mark Zuckerberg-backed Center for Technology and Civic Life to help conduct the Nov. 3 election.

The group particularly objected to the cities' work to promote absentee voting, which it characterized as an effort to help President-elect Joe Biden's campaign. Biden won the state by more than 20,000 votes, according to county canvasses. The result is scheduled to be certified Dec. 1.

Wisconsin's political parties both chose a slate of electors in October. The political party whose presidential candidate is the certified winner in Wisconsin will get all the state's electoral votes.

I'm more than a little surprised they didn't include their favorite bogeyman, George Soros.

This same group had filed another lawsuit in October in federal court asking that the money be blocked, but the federal judge had rejected their request because "the plaintiffs failed to show a reasonable likelihood of success on the merits of the case."

 The not so hidden irony in all of this is that there is little reason to believe that this group isn't funded by conservative special interests dark money themselves.

Is James Wigderson really a dummy?

It’s tough to watch a once great man tumbling into decline. There was a time when human Foghorn Leghorn and occasional Topo Gigio impersonator James Wigderson was a genuine force in Wisconsin conservative politics. A time when the unrelentingly raw, merciless stench of his haphazardly hyperbolic and buffoonishly bellicose rhetoric could not be ignored, much like your aging, alcoholic uncle’s periodontitis scented halitosis wafting across the picnic table at a close quarter family reunion on a hot Sunday afternoon. But no more.

A quick perusal of the Not Quite Right Wisconsin website, where Wigderson serves as editor, reveals a recent body of work woefully bereft of substance, wit or originality.  There are small minded ramblings about Mandela Barnes and bongs, Milwaukee street cars and bikes, that Scot Ross, essentially, is an asshole, and so on and so forth.

The majority of Wigderson’s output, though,  appears to be little more than a parroting of the latest press release from the misnomerly named “ Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty” , the Bradley Foundation funded old white guy club where “ ride to the sound of the guns “ seems to be the corporate motto. Law, Liberty, Guns. Sounds kind of like a Warren Zevon song!

Wigderson’s articles so dutifully repeat WILL’s views on everything from health care policy, to DPI powers, to school choice that, against one’s will, an image slowly comes to mind of Wiggy perched precariously on WILL CEO Rick Esenberg’s lap, his jaw flapping in time to an unseen and unheard metronome while Esenberg’s lips seem to barely move.  Try to unsee that!

It’s a neat trick though one shudders to wonder where Esenberg’s forearm has been. Note to Esenberg: you can now get hand cleaning towels by the bucket!

WISGOP Founding Fathers of Fake News

For some reason, The Jussie Smollett story is a story that the WISGOP can not seem to stop talking about. 

From Jimmy Wigderson, to hate talker Vicki Mckenna and the incomprehensible Dan O'Donnell has been obsessed with it.

Now that it is rather obvious that "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett paid two Nigerian-born brothers (one of whom was for a time his personal trainer) to help stage a hate crime hoax in Chicago, one must ask why so many in the media and Democratic Party fell for such a questionable story in the first place.
To paraphrase Agent Mulder in another popular FOX show, it was because they wanted to believe.
They wanted to believe that President Trump has fomented such a hateful environment that his supporters would attack a gay, black Trump critic simply for being a gay, black Trump critic. They wanted to believe that, as CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin put it, "this is America in 2019."
Only it isn't. It's the America that the political left and its media allies have invented. Sadly, hate crimes do occur, but they are dramatically outnumbered by the truly staggering number of hate crime hoaxes that generate similarly uncritical and sympathetic coverage.

They are acting like staging attacks for political point is a new thing.   That it is some deep conspiracy that "the left" has concocted to figure out a way to make The Donald look bad. 

Yes the Donald can make himself look bad all on his own, he needs no help for that. 

However I want to perform a public service and remind our friends on the right, that making up stories to score political points is something the WISGOP and the right has been doing for years now.   Let's jog their memory.

The all star of fake news is, of course, Christian Schneider.   Schneider, for reasons unknown to anyone,  had a column in the Journal Sentinel for years and helped break the story that Mark Pocan's husband attacked and beat Pocans opponent.  As with many things that Schneider wrote, there was not a lick of truth to his story, so he did what most unethical people do when caught in a lie.  Deleted the story like nothing ever happened.

Not to be outdone by the idiocy, irrelevant ex Senator Neil Kedzie's son got beat up at bartime in Whitewater for being an ass.  Instead of owning up that he raised a son who could not handle his liquor, Kedzie blamed it on Democrats and said that his son was beat up because he had a Romney/Ryan sign in his yard.  Kedzie even had his taxpayer funded staffers calling the Romney campaign trying to get national exposure.  We knew it was fake immediately, because supporting Paul Ryan is punishment enough, no need to throw salt in the wound and hit him also.

Then, that captain of telling fake stories, Scott Walker, even wrote a fake book about all of the times he was harassed on the campaign trail, but stood up to the bullies like the hero he likes to think he is.  The problem of course was the time he told his ghostwriter about that made the book, were all #fakenews.    Walker claimed many things from, protesters surrounding his car at Devils lake and shaking it to getting spit on at his local grocery store.

The one commonality of all of Scott Walker's "protest" stories is that they are never true.

Speaking of the Capitol protests, Matt Kittle from Maciver recently tweeted about the riots at the Capitol.

As someone who not only was at the Capitol protesting almost daily, I took my 7 and 4 year old children at the time whenever I could.   There was nothing resembling a riot.   Three Pinocchios to Matt on that tweet. 

We see that our friends in the WISGOP are the Founding Fathers of fake news and are actual Republicans, yet not a peep from the hate talk/propaganda bloggers trolling through the internet. 

I would say that it seems like many in the WISGOP are auditioning to be guest stars on "Empire" but not sure that Robin Vos and Jim Steineke allow anyone of our African American brothers and sisters to watch! 



 

Wiggy Wonders What To Do With Himself

Once again, it is time to check in with the Bizarro Blogger on the Right.  Jimmy Wigderson, the person the racist extremist Charlie Sykes willed White Wisconsin too, when he decided to leave his extremist hate filled ways behind and pretend that he had no hand in the rise of the white trash racism that has taken over our country. 

Wiggy, in the wake of the GOP finally(after being re-elected 9 times) figuring out that Iowa Rep. Steve King is a raving, lunatic racist. 

There is a line, one that far-right politicians know they must not cross.
Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa, once described undocumented Mexican immigrants as drug mules and likened them to dogs. He supported the end of birthright citizenship and has repeatedly lamented the declining white birth rate. He praised the books and amplified the tweets of neo-Nazis. All along the way, King got the endorsement of Iowa voters in his district, who returned him to Congress every two years since 2003. He received occasional criticism from Republicans insistent that King’s ideas were not their own, while some Democrats said his public comments revealed a bigoted streak, an affinity for white nationalists and an eagerness to make America a less equal place.

All of his previous actions withstanding, it took one simple question by King to pull the curtain back:

 Why was this one moment in the political life of King too much, too far, too outrageous? King’s comment — “White nationalist, white supremacist, Western civilization — how did that language become offensive?” he told The New York Times — was lacking in all plausible deniability and nuance, devoid of the high and low pitch tones calibrated for certain ears, experts say. It was an endorsement of white supremacy in the form of a rhetorical question. And it came at a time when King’s Republican Party is struggling with its political prospects.“King is not alone in his ideas, not his ideas on immigration, not his ideas about policy,” said Nell Irvin Painter, professor of history at Princeton University and author of “The History of White People.” “But, he is a fairly unusual character, today, in how obvious he is with his racism. The president operates on the side of euphemism, just this side of euphemism, whereas Steve King has used the actual language of white supremacy, the actual words with an endorsement.”

Now to the irony of the situation, apparently Wiggy had a "meeting" planning the "future" of White Wisconsin.   In layman's terms. the Bradley folks told them they cant be paying them to write such BS and get their ass kicked in elections like just happened.   Wingnut welfare only goes so far. 

The question that came out from these meetings was this:

  An easy question should be, what do we do about the racists in our midst? 

As you heard here first in September, no one is more of a racist than Mr. White Wisconsin himself - James Wigderson.  He who called all of the student athletes in the Milwaukee Public School System "little convicts" is asking what should be done with racists in their midst.   

As we have also pointed out, if you could sell the irony that Wisconsin Republicans put out on a daily basis we could actually afford to pay Foxconn what Walker promised them. 

In the meantime, a quick answer to Wiggy's burning question is simple. 

Get rid of the racist editor of Right Wisconsin and put it in the hands of someone who is logical, intelligent and open minded(good luck finding someone).   Then you can have some credibility when talking about the Steve King's of the world. 

White Power Wigderson

Charlie Sykes, when he was playing the part of far right Republican and helping get his friends, Scott Walker and David Clarke elected, started a website(Using JSonline resources) called - Right Wisconsin. 

Capper appropriately re-named them White Wisconsin.

Then when Charlie Sykes decided to change his stripes and play the part of thoughtful moderate, he gifted the website to James Wigderson.

Wiggy has run it with the same amount of racism, but has eliminated the search option and comments.  He is being paid to tell you what to think, not have a discussion.  Jimmy has never had much interest in a debate (or in minorities voting but that's another blog).  At least he knows his weaknesses.

Wigderson recently, tried to spin a tale of getting his son off to his senior year of high school. Which apparently is quite a feat.

First off, he takes his obligatory right wing shot at public education and then spins a yarn of overcoming all odds to come out of his school educated. 

Yes, it was possible for me to get a good education there, in part because I sought it out against the odds. I spent my lunch hour my senior year hanging out in the Social Studies study lounge and my other free time in the math department office. I rewrote my school schedule to eliminate gym class starting my sophomore year so I could take extra academic classes and managed to find a guidance counselor to sign the new schedule.
Somebody had to look out for my education.

Or more likely, the staff had to find a way to keep tabs on the weird white loner, who no one liked for the safety of all. 

Next he takes another shot at his old high school - Milwaukee Vincent.  Which has a DPI report card failing rate that looks like one of Zeus Rodriguez's charter schools. 

The school has only gotten worse since my days there. The school “fails to meet expectations” according to the state of Wisconsin’s Department of Public Instruction and it’s not even close. Yet nothing will be done about Vincent and 999 kids will be trapped in a failing school this year. Some students will succeed but the odds are horribly against them. But at least it’s a union school, right?

Now that Wiggy has set it up, it is time for the full blown racist punchline.

So imagine my surprise when, thanks to the Facebook page for an upcoming high school reunion, I learned the school is getting a new $5.7 million stadium. The stadium will have artificial grass and a new track for WIAA events. The report I saw didn’t mention metal detectors, but it would be a good idea.
The new stadium is part of an $11 million improvement in athletic facilities for Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), presumably so the little convicts can have the best facilities before being sent to the penitentiary.

Overlooking the fact that the new stadium for his old high school has been reported on extensively in the news, the kicker is this line.

Yes all athletes in the Milwaukee Public Schools are convicts...well at least all black athletes anyway.   

Wiggy when posting this garbage, linked to this story about a black basketball player at Milwaukee Washington who committed armed robbery but was still allowed to play in the tournament. 

I would explain to Wiggy that Basketball at Milwaukee Washington and Football/Track at Milwaukee Vincent are completely different.  I would also explain that one case, with one athlete of thousands, is hardly representative of all student athletes regardless of color.    However, I do not think he would get it, or even come close to getting it. 

It is important to meet people where they are at so I would approach Wiggy with the understanding, that just because you commit one illegal act that does not define you for the rest of your life. 

Even when it shows a serious pattern of racism. 

Right Wisconsin - We Read It So You Don't Have Too

Ever since Charlie Sykes decided to take his career in a new direction as the "thoughtful conservative" instead of the screeching hate monger daily, he had to drop all of his ties to his the chapter of hate in his life and gave up his website "White Right Wisconsin". 

In yet another act of wingnut welfare, he handed it off to his buddy James Wigderson.  Wiggy, who did not actually have anything else to do, has been much more aggressive pushing his propaganda.   He has come up with the idea of a daily "news" letter where he showcases his lack of humor and blend it with his lack of information, and mixes in occasional lies. 

Let's look at a few examples:

*  In one, Wiggy is explaining to his kid, how Orwells books are coming true thanks to the Democrats taking away our rights(making a strong argument against homeschooling). 

Then let's us know that the NRA is in serious danger of losing their "Constitutional Rights". 

Meanwhile, the "Two Minutes of Hate" described by Orwell has been in evidence in every anti-gun march in recent days, demanding that the NRA become silent. It's not just disagreement, it's a demand that the NRA loses its voice to defend rights that are in both the state and federal constitutions.
This is the political college campus atmosphere now on a broader societal level. If the Left is successful with the NRA, nobody's right to free speech is safe.

While I understand he is trolling for advertisers and NRA Dollars, look back at where I showed that the goal of all on the right is to make their followers look at Democrats and liberals as the enemy! 

Speaking of two minutes of hate:

*  Here was some actual humor.  One day Wiggy, trying to mock Hillary says this:

 So I gave my wife, the Lovely Doreen from Waukesha, some shocking news today. I told her that she votes for the candidates that I support because she's married to me. Yes, that was quite a shock to my wife who wouldn't even include the word "obey" in our wedding vows.
Heck, Doreen would have a hard time even guessing at my chosen candidate because I rarely tell her for whom I'm voting. We went two years once before she learned which candidate I finally chose in a local election. Because of my position as a political writer, it doesn't make sense to broadcast my preference, or even to have one, before Election Day, especially in primaries.

Yes who in the world could possibly guess who Wiggy votes for?  I am guessing if his wife does not know, then I would wager that no one in the house can work the microwave or washer. 

Two days later, Wiggy writes this:

 Before we start today's newsletter, I want to thank the ladies of the Republican Women of Greater Milwaukee for listening to my speech on Saturday. It was a pleasure speaking in front of you, and always fun to run into Dr. John McAdams as well. I hope that I both entertained and informed.
Towards the end of my little speech, I warned how Governor Scott Walker's agenda is in trouble. 

As an independent thinking political "writer"(term used loosely), nothing says disguised vote like talking to a bunch of old white Republican women about how Scott Walker is in trouble. 

*   And right there, among all the kids yesterday, was the state Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Evers, a Democratic candidate for governor, encouraging the kids to miss school. Why not? It's not like Evers has done anything to improve school safety, including getting rid of teachers watching porn in their classrooms. Nor has Evers done anything about the failing schools these children are attending, except opposing anything that would hold the schools accountable.
Unless the kids can be used as political props, it doesn't appear at all that Democrats care about them. 

This is where the lies come in, Tony Evers absolutely had no chance or authority to dismiss a teacher who was caught watching porn on his lunch hour.   Evers has also put out Wi education budgets every budget cycle that would help all of the schools that are not performing as well as we would like, but the Governor has ignored them and taken a machete to public school budgets. 

Walker, though under the correct assumption that he is in trouble for re-election, plagiarized Evers budget this cycle, except added way too much to unaccountable private/voucher schools. 

*  Kelda Roys, put out her first ad in her Gubernatorial campaign where she talked of working bipartisanly to ban BpA.   

Democratic candidate for governor Kelda Roys launched her first video capitalizing on the BPA scare. The problem is, even the European Food Safety Authority found no health risks from exposure to BPA. So much for Democrats being the party of science (again).    

Yes Science that tells us that BpA is problematic.  Very Problematic:

But in 2010 the agency altered its position. The FDA maintains that studies using standardized toxicity tests have shown BPA to be safe at the current low levels of human exposure. But based on other evidence -- largely from animal studies -- the FDA expressed "some concern" about the potential effects of BPA on the brain, behavior, and prostate glands in fetuses, infants, and young children.

You get the idea, save yourself the 45 seconds a day.  There is nothing of substance to see here.   Nothing beyond #fakenews anyway. 

The War Within #MAGA

The Donald continues to tell us about building a wall, and the dangers of Muslims and the need for travel bans.  School shootings continue with the next one seemingly being worse than the last. 

Lost in the shuffle is the actual war that some people are fighting right here in our country.    The right wing echo chamber, work very hard to cover it up and the mainstream media does not want to deal with the far right hate groups wrath by tying together the incidences, so we will.

The war within our country right now is the far right wing hate groups, led by the NRA and guided by the far right hate talk radio and Fox News.   They are convincing their "soldiers" that the liberals are the enemy, they are going to loe their rights and freedoms, we are too worried about our PC culture and why in the world would women think they could do the same work as men.    While everyone may have heard of an occasional incident, there is becoming a pattern. 

Let's take a look:

*  Starting with the NRA, one of their main vendors is selling a bleeding female mannequin target(and another that resembled President Obama).

Of course mass killings and domestic violence are closely related and we do need to make a profit!

*  We are not done with our friend at the NRA yet, they also recently released a terrorist video aimed at Americans:

Al Quada would be proud.  

*  Speaking of Al Quada, the white supremacist movement(AKA Y'all Quada) has exploded in the US since 2008(coincidentally, the same year America elected an African American president).

LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS and the watchdog groups that track the self-styled “patriot” groups call them anti-government extremists, militias, armed militants or even domestic terrorists. Some opponents of the largely white and rural groups have made fun by calling them “Y’all Qaeda” or “Vanilla ISIS.”
Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors extremism, said there were about 150 such groups in 2008 and about 1,000 now. Potok and other analysts, including law enforcement officials who track the groups, said their supporters number in the hundreds of thousands, counting people who signal their support in more passive ways, such as following the groups on social media. The Facebook page of the Oath Keepers, a group of former members of police forces and the military, for example, has more than 525,000 “likes.”

*   There is an influx of white supremacists running for public office now that they have been empowered, with one of the highest profile being Arthur Jones, who recently won the Republican nomination for Congress.  Jones, calls the holocaust, the "biggest blackest lie in history".  While he ran unopposed,  it did not stop over 20,000 Republicans from voting for him.   Jones has also ran 5 times before, but this year, in 2018 the Donald era - he actually secured a spot on the ballot.

*   Recently, a 24 year old white male, ended up blowing himself up, after targeting local people of color in Austin Texas with home made package bombs.   The home schooled Conditt, referred to himself as a low information Republican:

My name is Mark Conditt. I enjoy cycling, parkour, tennis, reading, and listening to music. I am not that politically inclined. I view myself as a conservative, but I don’t think I have enough information to defend my stance as well as it should be defended. 

As is typical, not having enough information does not stop one from having strong opinions:

On the blog, the suspect gave a window into his mind and political views. In it, he said that he opposes gay marriage, comparing it to bestiality. He railed against abortion. The entries date to 2012 and appear to be for a class. He also wrote about the government releasing an Al-Qaeda terrorist, opining, “I think that it is just plain dumb to release a terrorist, much less a senior one – no matter what he can provide.” 

*  The Parkland High School shooter had some very strong hatred in his bones, he hated blacks, minorities, homosexuals, white women who dated interracially and liberals.  His loves were guns, and The Donald. 

* This past weekend, there was a children organized "March for Our Lives" throughout the country where millions of people marched for reasonable gun control and to make sure our younger generation are registered to vote so the politicians will listen to them.  In Madison the turnout was amazing! 

In almost every March all over the country, there was also a consistent uninvited guest.   The old white guy openly carrying a gun.

Nothing like a loaded gun, the Gadsden flag and ear muffs to really advance your cause. 

*  Locally during the "Day of Action" where students all over the country(including my children), silently left class for 17 minutes in memory of the 17 people who were slaughtered in Florida, local right wing extremist blogger Jimmy Wigderson was besides himself that kids would actually do that:

Unfortunately, in so many other schools, kids are being transported to little protest spots to be props for Democrats seeking to make gun control an issue. In Madison, the high school kids are being transported from West, Lafollette and Memorial High Schools to East High School by bus so they then can go march on the Capitol.
But we know it's a spontaneous uprising of the kids, right? Because so many of them have the wherewithal and credit cards necessary to charter buses.
Governor Scott Walker, wisely, will be out of the Capitol today at a bill signing. And state Senate Republicans are meeting behind closed doors today to actually work on a real school safety plan, not the result of a hyped-up tantrum that'll be thrown outside the Capitol today.
In other words, the grownups are working. Some are working at manipulating kids for their own ends, while others are actually working today to solve the state's problems.

What do you know, someone actually does read Wiggies hate filled extremist website.   

A Pewaukee High School student was arrested Wednesday morning in connection with a threat that prompted the school district to close its campus and cancel classes.
The suspect was taken into custody by investigators with the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department. The investigation has not revealed any evidence of any other actors or participants, according to a joint news release from the Sheriff's Department, the Pewaukee Police Department and the school district.
But a screenshot from the app Sarahah.com that was shared on the Pewaukee Parents Facebook page said, "All you liberals are going to be easy targets. I wouldn't recommend showing up to school, unless you want to die. Pewaukee is going to be bigger than Columbine and Florida combined. Just you wait. Pewaukee isn't so safe. ;) - You're all going to die tomorrow and nothing will stop us."

We are seeing a pattern of home grown terrorism in the United States and there is a pattern of middle to lower class, privileged white Republicans who hate liberals and love guns. 
The group that like to think of themselves as the "good guys with guns" are the profile of the exact people we need to be worried about.  While the kids this past weekend were not intimidated by all of the people openly carrying guns and looking for confrontations at their rallies, the reality is they should have been.

For instance, the NRA and their allies made this picture go viral(of course they photoshopped the original):

Apparently, the right wing is over their faux outrage, of attacking children.  

At a Pro Trump #MAGA rally this weekend in "liberal" Los Angeles, the Trumpets decided that they had no use for minorities or anyone from the media (#fakenews) and this is a picture of how they treated a local photographer(apparently none of them in their fervor to be Super Patriots have ever read the flag code).  

I do not believe that all Republicans are mass murderers, but most mass murderers all seem to fit the same profile.   It is not hard to understand either, with a heavy dose of hard core Republican hatred blaring at them from all angles from hate radio (Rush, Vicki, Dan O Donnell, Belling, etc...) to lunatics like Christian Schneider getting unlimited column inches with no oversight, to the blogs filled with BS and lies like Right Wisconsin, Maciver and Mediatrackers, that are treated as legit news sources by our media, and most political talk shows loaded with hard core Republicans, all people who listen to the airwaves get a heavy dose daily of the same message - Liberals are the enemy of America and are working hard to destroy our country. 

We have a choice this year, will we reward that behavior and keep going further and further down the rabbit hole, or will we stand up and say #Enough ?

The choice is up to us!

Media Trackers: Still Lying Like Crazy After All These Years

During the recalls of 2011, right wing propaganda group Media Trackkkers made laughing stocks of themselves by accusing people of bribing two underage African American women into signing the petition.

Of course, this was a Fox News level lie.   The women were neither underage nor were they bribed.

Today, seven years later, Media Trackkkers has a whole new writing staff.  Well, a completely different set of contributors, anyway. But they are still telling the whoppers.

One example is Kevin Binversie.  Binversie, whose only other claim to fame his his Green Lantern pajamas, is still adamant that a fundraiser for Randy Bryce, featuring Chelsea Handler, had been cancelled.  Of course, Binversie's only proof is that no one dumped information into his lap.

Maybe Binversie can explain this email I got last week (the names have been redacted to protect the hosts form harassment):

Apparently, the motto at Media Trackkkers is "It doesn't have to be true, as long it proves our point."

But wait, there's more!  There's always more.

There is our pal, James "Wiggy" Wigderson, who writes for more fake news/propaganda sites than anyone else in the state.  Apparently, Wiggy stands for wigged out.

Wiggy has his undies in a bundle (I do apologize for the visual that might create in the gentle reader's mind) over Bill Penzey, the owner of Penzey's spices, referring to Trump and his acolytes, like Lyin' Paull Ryan, as Nazis.

Perhaps, Wiggy somehow missed that little demonstration in Charlottesville last summer, when this was a common sight:

In fact, things have gotten so vulgar and depraved in this country because of the Republicans that Mike Godwin, creator of Godwin's Law, has said that it's perfectly fine to compare "these shitheads to the Nazis.  Again and again. I'm with you."

Perhaps Wiggy should put down the Snickers bar for a minute and take a look outside of his own little bubble.  He just might learn something.

Then again, people like Binversie and Wigderson never do seem to learn.

The Real Activist Judge

The definition of irony! 

Today on the RightWisconsin website, Matt Kittle, the blogger who I think is currently being paid by Mcgyver, wrote a story about the Supreme Court and how Tim Burns and Rebecca Dallett are going to be "activist judges".

The forum, moderated by University of Wisconsin-Madison Political Science professor Ryan Owens, in large part proved to be a bare-knuckle political brawl between the two left-leaning candidates, Madison attorney Tim Burns and Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Rebecca Dallet. The other candidate, Sauk County Circuit Judge Michael Screnock, the conservative in the race, mostly remained above the fray, periodically asserting that his opponents are effectively Activist Judge 1 and Activist Judge 2.

On the same page of the extremist blog, is an interview that The "above the fray" Judge Screnock,  who spent his formative years getting arrested throwing himself in front of a woman's health center in Madison to keep women from entering, gives an interview to friend of CogDis, the voter cager himself, Jimmy "Wiggy" Wigderson! 

Nothing says I am "above the fray" like running to a far right wing blog.    A quick look at Screnock's twitter and you see that he likes to finish his tweets with #wiright. 

Apparently #wiright means independent and nonpartisan! 

While I am adamantly supporting Tim Burns in this race, this part of the story showed why I am 100% correct in my decision!

Right Wisconsin Throws Stones

John 8:7 7When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her."

That did not stop Jimmy Wigderson over at RightWisconsin from standing in front of his glass house and throwing stones.  The Right Wing is up in arms that Gordon Hintz is in line for the Assembly minority leader position.  

Despite the character flaws of both major party candidates for president in 2016, character should matter when a political party chooses a leader. By choosing Hintz, the Assembly Democrats are also choosing to ignore their own stated principles as well as expected standards of conduct of elected officials.
If the Democratic Party will not hold its own accountable, then that responsibility falls to the Republican Party. It is not a failure of the two-party system to hold the Democrats accountable for the bad choices in leadership they make, but a responsibility of serious elected representatives to hold the leadership of both parties to a higher standard.
If Hintz’s constituents lack the judgment to choose good representation, that does not excuse the Democrats from their obligation to choose good leaders, nor does it excuse Republicans like Steineke from holding the Democrats accountable for their choices.

Wigderson, in one of his more memorable columns, wrote this a couple years ago when Wild Bill Kramer was elected majority leader, a short time before he was sent to prison:

Kramer’s style may not endear him to Madison liberals; it does represent the conservative nature of Waukesha County. As majority leader, Kramer can lend some much-needed spine to Republican leadership who are hoping to coast through the next elections without offending anyone.
If Kramer wins, it will be good for Waukesha as well. Being represented by legislators in leadership is good for a community.

The of course the good reporter that Wiggy is, he leaves out a big chunk of information regarding Steineke, the Republican "leader" has had a few hiccups on behavior in his prior life also.

 It is interesting that Wiggy expects more from the Democratic Party than the WISGOP.

Right Wisconsin's Foggy Eyes

Right Wisconsin has a post up today about the Supreme Court Race.    It is written by George Mitchell, but might as well be written by a third grader from Mississippi as they both seem to have the same understanding of the WI Supreme Court!

Lets take a look at some of the highlights!

The campaign is likely to be unpleasant. Two announced candidates question the judicial independence and integrity of the Court’s five-member conservative majority. 

Hey George that puts the two announced candidates strictly on the side of pretty much any legal or political observer in the country not on the Bradly payroll.   

But wait there is more!

Whichever candidate reaches the April ballot will be backed by those who helped orchestrate and exploit smear campaigns against former Justice David Presser and Justice Rebecca Bradley. The sole conservative candidate needs to get ready.

I am going to overlook the fact that in a post complaining about politics in the Court, he keeps touting the one Republican Justice running as the only legit candidate.  He even has him penciled in cruising through the primary election and onto the general.  Who needs elections anymore?

What  trumps that is the fact the he claims that David "Ike Turner" Prosser and Rebecca "Homophobic Adulterer" Bradley were both smeared.    I do enjoy the inside joke that they have with Prosser, by calling him David PRESSER!  I assume it is because he has a habit of pressing his hands around women's throats!   

They want a Court that will undo legislative defeats they have experienced since 2010. As the saying goes, they want an “activist” Court.

Sorry George, I know you are not aware very much of what is happening in Wisconsin, but we have an activist court already and they are not only disgraceful, but a running joke amongst pretty much everyone who pays attention.  

This is the latest drama in a decade long saga that, largely through money-fuelled and often nasty judicial elections, has intensified the turn of the Wisconsin Supreme Court from a congenial, moderately liberal institution into a severely divided conservative stronghold. More to the point, the elections have reduced it from one of the nation’s most respected state tribunals into a disgraceful mess.

Congratulations Right Wisconsin, you can always be counted on for a morning chuckle.   Congratulations also to Jamie Wigderson, you actually found people writing for you that are more ridiculous than you!

Right Wisconsin Promotes Domestic Terrorism

Recently, we pointed out that Right Wisconsin, under the new direction of Jimmy Wigderson, has become even whiter!   This was after Wiggy compared Fighting Bob LaFollette (in a cowardly unsigned post) to Robert E Lee and the Confederate traitors.  

Not one to stop at blatant racism, Wiggy took it even further by defending a blatant anti Government hate group.  

Representative Joel Kleefisch posted a picture on Instagram of himself hanging out with a terror watch militia group called the "Three Percenters". many of whom were flashing their white power sign.  

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel’s Dan Bice went after state Rep. Joel Kleefisch, R-Oconomowoc, for speaking to a group of “Three Percenters,” which Bice describes as a “fringe, anti-government group.”

Seems like Wiggy took offense to Dan Bice calling out Kleefisch's party crowd.   Of course, Bice was correct.

The "Three Percenters", were formed by Michael Brian Vanderboegh, an anti govt extremist who also founded the "Sons of Liberty" and has ties to the Oathkeepers.  Michael, lived in Pennsylvania, where he collected disability and used his free time to rail against Gun Control and healthcare for all, before finally succumbing to Cancer in 2016.   If only Mr. Vanderboegh had used some of his free time to study history.

Recently, Jerry Drake Varnell, 23, told undercover agents that he was acting out of a hatred for the U.S. government and an admiration for Oklahoma City bomber Timothy Mc­Veigh, according to the criminal complaint. He also said he agreed with the Three Percenter ideology and was hoping to start the next American revolution.

While Wiggy disputes this claim because the local chapter denounced Varnell, the key phrase he glosses over is "he agreed with the 3% ideology" which led this mentally ill person to plot to blow up a Government building.  

The three percenters also showed up, armed,  to "lend protection" to the group of white supremacists in Charlottesville, VA as shown here:

 

Why yes that is a patch of the 3 percenter logo blended with the Confederate Flag,   Again, the # percenters denounced the marchers, but that denouncement came when people heard what they were doing.  

The Three Percenters formed an open alliance with the Oath Keepers at the crazy Bundy Ranch standoff.  Jared Miller, who listed the Three Percenters as one of his favorite groups, left the Bundy Ranch, grabbed his wife, went to Las Vegas and shot a couple of cops in the back and draped Gadsden Flags over their dead bodies.   

On their facebook page, they give their mission as standing for "Freedom, Liberty and the Constitution"  unless of course you are not white.  

As what seems to be the main poster on their page, an anonymous poster who thinks he is Frank Castle but is more like Frank Furter, posted this on the page,

NFL, you want to know why your rating are plummeting!? GET A HINT! I only watched a few games last year due to "Kaepernicus". I'm done with the NFL until they stand up against this and prohibit their players from doing this crap anymore!

White Wisconsin - Now Even Whiter!

In Charlottsville, VA, there was a huge rally of white supremacists, Nazis, and random Republicans who showed up with tiki torches to fight mosquitoes and the taking down of a statue of the Confederate traitor General Robert E Lee.

In Lexington, KY, the mayor said that after the tragedy in VA, all Confederate statues would be coming down.

In North Carolina, protesters pulled down a statue of a Confederate Soldier.

Seeing a pattern here?

Finally, Americans are waking up to the fact that the Civil War was not nostalgic, but a huge black eye on our History.  The Civil War was a few states were AntiAmerican traitors who attacked America from within.   in the four years of the Civil War, 620,000 Americans were killed.  All so some rich white people would be allowed to keep slaves and get free labor.  

However, unsurprisingly, RightWisconsin, now run by Jamie Wigderson, looks at the Confederate Statues coming down as an opportunity to rid our history of Progressives.

It’s time for the statue of Robert La Follette at the National Statuary Hall Collection in the U.S. Capitol to come down. While we’re at it, let’s remove the bust of La Follette from the Capitol in Madison as well. There will be protests. But let’s face it, the Progressive Era is over. Thank God.
Wisconsin is now a red state, won fairly by former Governor Tommy Thompson (three times), Governor Scott Walker (three times) and President Donald Trump*. We re-elected a conservative senator in a presidential year, Ron Johnson, when every pundit said it couldn’t be done. The majority of our representation to Congress is conservative. Conservatives control the state Assembly and the state Senate with record numbers, and conservatives even control the state Supreme Court 5-2.

* I guess the self proclaimed "never Trumper" is now "all Trump all the time".

Most people see that it is time we stop fantasizing the Confederacy and realize it is a racist, black mark  and tragic time in America and stop honoring the traitors of the South.

Not Right Wisconsin, they feel since some "snowflakes" want some statues removed, that now would be a good time to rid ourselves of Wisconsin's Progressive past.

Since this is a borderline racist column, full of dog whistles, it is only fitting that they recommend that Judge William Rehnquisr and Tommy Thompson be the statues that we replace Fighting Bob with.

Rehnquist's legacy is one of suppressing African American and Latino voters, so of course he would be a favorite of Jimmy Wigdersons.

Wiggy also mentioned Tommy Thompson as a second statue for WISGOP to put up.  Since he was one of the most vociferous voices for the individual mandate in Obamacare, I could live with that.

However, since it is Jimmy Wigderson we are discussing, let me nominate two people for statues who better embody the true spirit of the WISGOP:

1. Has to be Joe Mccarthy.  No one embodies WISGOP values of paranoia, hatred, BS and outright lies than McCarthy.

2.  I would recommend, someone Wiggy has mentioned as the perfect rep = Wild Bill Kramer!
