Scott Walker Quote of the Day

By Jeff Simpson

Let us take a trip back to 2012 and we see Scott Walker on the Neil Cavuto show and Mr. Walker was asked who Mitt Romney should pick as his Vice Presidential candidate(emphasis mine).

In the midst of his recall election, Walker shot down speculation that he could be Mitt Romney's vice-presidential pick. Instead, he told FOX Business Network's Neil Cavuto in June 2012 that if Romney were to ask him who would be a good pick from Wisconsin, he would suggest Paul Ryan—who Romney did eventually choose as a running mate. "I am not going through a year and a half of this to then take off," Walker told Cavuto, according to The Huffington Post. "I have to fulfill my commitment to the voters of the state of Wisconsin."
Ummm?!?!?!?

  1. That was then, this is now, I'm not the same, Wisconsin is not the same since I have been "Gub-nah." I'm not responsible for anything I do, it just happens when I get the "call." Does anyone else hear a phone ringing? Maybe it's THE CALL?

  3. This isn't really anything new.

Walkers promises are limited to the election cycle in which they are made.

When Walker ran for Milwaukee County Exec. for the first time he promised that he would not take the full salary of the office, he would only take the salary that he had in the State legislature. After the next election cycle he took the full salary of the Executive and bought himself a nice big house with an in-ground swimming pool.

    Scott Walker, repeat offender.

  4. Blaska will never answer you. Blaska is entitled to his pension but believes in taking yours away. Blaska talks about smaller government but loves his big government bennies. The hypocrisy of WI Republicans like him is ridiculous. Blaska panders to the uneducated Walker's of WI & they buy it hook, line and sinker.
