--Republican Scott Walker is up with his first ad in Wisconsin's gubernatorial contest. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel notes he doesn't actually say he's running for anything.

Speaking of which, I have learned that not only is Walker eligible for the pension that is twice as much as what the average active county worker is making, Walker is also eligible for the free life-long health care coverage.
But I suppose that is not so bad, paying him all the money and giving him health care for doing nothing. We pay him a lot more now and he has been worse than nothing while in office.

I believe what is happening here is Scott Walker is running for governor anonymously. He's taking his cues from his anonymous bloggers at www.scottforgov.com. Have you noticed that they have added more bloggers lately? I've heard that the bloggers are starting to feel the heat and their identities aren't so anonymous anymore. Folks in the capital know who they are. Hopefully it can be confirmed soon.

ReplyDeleteFor the record, I am not eligible for either the pension enhancers or the lifetime health care. Walker is only getting it because of the time served in the state legislature. Even the union frowns on people doing that in their own ranks.
