Solidarity Fish Fry, Week 11 - Treat A Palermo Worker To A Fish Fry

I am sure that after ten weeks of successful Solidarity Fish Fries, the gentle eater knows what we are doing and why we are doing it.

For week eleven, which is this Friday, December 21, we are doubling down on our solidarity by treating some of the Palermo workers to a fish fry.  This way we can help two unions at the same time.  Talk about union efficiency!

But to make this a complete success, we need your help.

We have already had a great show of support for both the Palermo workers, who want to exercise their rights, as well as our brave sisters and brothers at Serb Hall, who are fighting to keep their rights against the union busting management.

But we still need some more help.  Please give what you can, whether it is $25, $10 or whatever you can afford.

And as a reminder to any blogger and/or media types, there will be a translator available so that you can speak to the workers about their plight as well as their stance of solidarity with the workers at Serb Hall.

The union waitresses this week will be Victoria and Sandra.  Ask to be seated at one of their tables and make sure you leave a good tip.
