Riddle Me This?

By Jeff Simpson

Today, Scott Walker and his cabinet induced bald spot met with President Obama in LaCrosse and had this to say:

“I’m going to point out that the president and others in Washington could pick up a lesson or two by the good work we’ve done to get our budget balanced, to get our finances in order, our economy is much better,” Walker said in a radio interview. “There’s a lot the president can learn from the state of Wisconsin.”

The question I have is, What exactly can President Obama learn from Wisconsin?

  1. The prez could get tips on how to run a money-laundering operation at taxpayer expense. Scotty seems to have that skill down.

Economically, he could learn what NOT to do, and that austerity and relying on corporates to improve the economy in almost any form is idiotic. Obama hasn't learned enough of that lesson yet in DC.

  3. It's not so much what Obama can LEARN from Scott Walker's Wisconsin, as how Obama can USE it as a (bad) example to teach the rest of the country, "learn from this."

Just about everything Obama offered Wisconsin (e.g. high-speed rail funds, expanded Medicaid), Walker refused, to Wisconsin's loss. Wisconsin, and the rest of the country, should learn from this.

Likewise, where Obama is for expanding or assuring civil rights and uniting this country, Walker is for limiting or degrading civil rights and using divide-and-conquer against his own constituents.

And Walker is now the top-polling Republican candidate in the Presidential field, before he has even announced... what does this say about Republicans?
