Scott Walker Calls For Prosser's Resignation

By Jeff Simpson

Scott Walker steps up his call for Clean Government in Madison:

“Regardless of party, people should speak out against those (inappropriate actions),” Walker said. “Whether it’s David Prosser or anyone else, if there are situations that make anybody feel at risk or threatened, there is just no place for that.”

I agree with Governor Walker, when a female public official needs police escort to leave the building because she is scared of her coworker, there should be no place for that!

  2. I was stunned by your headline, but the context and your Anonymous commenter make it clear that Walker has not experienced a sudden "come to Jesus" moment and has not, in fact, decided to join the rest of us in the 21st Century where sexist dicks like Prosser lose their jobs for cause.

Also, been meaning to say this for a while, but I'm sorry your WI Local 1848 doesn't link to the local's website.

    1. 1848 - it isn't an actual chapter, but a reference to a national writer at Politico who did not understand what our state flag looks like: http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/mike-friends-blog/what-politicos-wisconsin-1848-union-screw-reveals

    2. Ah, OK. Gotcha. And I'm guessing that despite the resemblance that's not Herbert Hoover next to my comment....

  3. Remember.....do what the Eagle Scout says.....not what the Eagle Scout does.....Walker's Eagle Scout oath!

  4. Prosser has no business being a judge.

Anybody who thinks he does is the idiot.

The man is a menace to society and himself.

  5. Oh, come on!

    This is an election year!

    WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!

Walker is in full campaign mode. Not just the regular campaign mode that he is usually in as he tries to slide himself into another high paying government job.

Walker will say anything and throw anyone under the bus to promote himself.

    YOU KNOW THAT!

In front of a camera Walker may say that Prosser should resign but he will not do anything about it. He will make no effort whatsoever to have Prosser removed from office. Walker would make no effort to give Prosser a slap on the wrist with even a repremand or a censure. Why would he? Prosser is one his people on the Supreme Court that is ready to intimidate any dissenting opinions to what Walker wants.

All Walker is doing here is trying to distance himself from the uglieness of one of his goons.

  6. Ok - I have to ask the question. Why is it that the tea party has all the crazies? Look at Prosser - what a hot mess! WISGOP should have sent Prosser off to rehab with Kramer. Every week, someone from WISGOP is saying or doing something stupid. Glenn Throw Momma from the Train Grothman - Robin the boss Vos - the Loon from New Berlin - Fitzwit, Andre Jabba the Hut - Billy Boob Kramer - Joel git my gun Kleefleish, Rebecca deer in the headlights Kleefleish, and the list goes on...all train wrecks! Seriously, I have never seen a bigger group of misfits in my life

    1. That's because misfits are more easily bought. Look at the shaggy lot of Chicago aldermen and you see there are many similarities with Wisconsin Tea Party

  7. Prosser is being investigated via John Doe 2. Knowing that Prosser is maybe even more corrupt than Gableman - I think he will be brought down eventually too. Prosser is a threat to democracy, decency and fairness. He should be held accountable by Doe 2.

  8. Walker needs Prosser's vote on the SCOWI when the John Doe case gets presented to the Court. Walker is counting on the partisan court to help stop the investigation and case.

    1. Wow! Prosser could quash the investigation that would indict him. That is SO Cook County.

    2. Prosser is some of what John Doe 2 is investigating. You would think he would have to recuse himself in this situation.
He had a cozy relationship during his campaign against Kloppenberg with a Dodge County outfit called Citizens for a Strong America. For more on this topic, see:

  9. Why is Wanker bringing this up now?? Isn't Prosser's choke hold on Justice Bradley "old news" now??

    1. Supreme Court Justices calling someone a bitch, threatening to destroy them or choking them never gets old. Neither do ethics violations in which three other justices WITH ethics violations recuse themselves from deciding the matter, violations of election integrity ala Kathy Nickolaus, "condoned illegal campaign activity" ala Scott Jensen caucus scandal testimony. Nope. Never. Gets. Old. Not ever.

  10. Old news...love it! I guess to Republicans choking a woman is old news. Shouldn't all women be just like Tonette - no college degree, no ambition, no job other than taking care of her husband's laundry and his elderly parents while Walker travels the country with his hand out.
