When I first interviewed then Dane County Supervisor Melissa Sargent two years
ago, I sensed she was a special person. I was interviewing her regarding her being arrested because her sons held up a banner in the Capitol. I could hear the resolve in her voice, the steel of her will, the thought behind her words and the justice in her decision making.
It was my pleasure to see her run for state assembly last fall. I thought she would be a wonderful representative.
And as usual, I was correct.
For proof, watch the way Sargent takes it to the WEDC's Reed Hall as he tries to defend their absolute failure.

She looks like an honest politician to me and there are fewer of the people's representatives willing to do the people's work these days. Go Melissa!
