MacIver "News Service" is making the insinuation that poll workers pushed for the recall of former State Senator Van Wanggaard.
However, we know that the teahadists from Texas came up to make sure the election was done legitimately. We also know that not one complaint was filed with the election commission.
This leaves us with either MacIver is lying and trying to conflate a situation into something it isn't or the teahadists failed to catch the alleged illegal politicking even while they were standing right there.
And since MacIver takes their reputation ever so seriously, one must presume that they are blaming the Koch-funded teahadists for Wanggaards loss. Right?
PS: Here's a clue: MacIver is full of lying propagandists.

There will be a recount for this result.
ReplyDeleteWanggaard claims that it is to validate the results, citing that the Senate wouldn't meet anyway, and that his defeat didn't mean anything in the way of a balance of power, therefore.
However, "special sessions" are the name of the game for our Governor.
Now, let's put our heads together and figure out why the Republicans (or any of their subsidiary cash funneling groups...) would be upset if the balance of power was actually evened out for the next few months.....
Is it G-Tac?
right to work is ready to go and be voted on
ReplyDeleteGannett is compiling all wage, years of experience etc and salary info for public workers across the state, Walker and friends want to "fix" our pension problem. Lots of money in WRS to play with.
ReplyDeleteThe MacIver-Pravda Institute and the Republican Stalinists are pissed that their dream of the invincible one party state has been stalled. They won't be able ram through any more draconian legislation before Walker does his perp walk.
ReplyDeleteThat 1% skimmed off the privatized pension fund and kicked back to the party would have been sweet. Turning it over to the Wall Street banksters just before the next market crash would have been the cherry on top of the ideological whipped cream. Oh well.
I expect to see Scotty's mug shot in the newspapers sometime before Tim Russell's September premier in court on the charge of stealing from widows and orphans. He will reap his well earned reward for cooperating with prosecutors and receive a light sentence in a minimum security facity.
After the November election it wouldn't surprise me to see some Republican senators doing the perp walk for their part in extorting elected officials into signing secrecy agreements in exchange for safely gerrymandered districts.
And then there is the the pay-to-play money that they cleverly routed through a lobbyist's office, thinking that would insulate them from detection. But there are so many of loose lips in the Capitol now, so many angling for immunity that for the FBI it's like shooting fish in a barrel. These days it's ridiculously easy to get wiretap authorization. You would think even these bent Republican fools would realise that. Silly boys. Greed isn't so good after all. Who knew?
I hear Robin Voss is so upset he's putting extra thick lifts in his shoes. I can definitely see him with stilleto heels. I think it would work.
Dont forget Russell and the rest stole from Veterans also!!
ReplyDeleteThe Racine DA is a huge supporter of Van W...yet maciver forgot to mention that in their "breaking story"
I hope you're right, Gareth. I'd love to see the whole lot go down.
