Zerban Makes A Strong Showing

Rob Zerban, who is taking on Paul "The Wine Connoisseur" Ryan, turned in his signatures today.  The numbers were healthy, per his press release:

Wisconsin: Zerban Submits 230% of Required Nomination Signatures Today

"The message is clear: Paul Ryan must be held accountable for his 14 years of failed decisions"

KENOSHA, Wis. -- Today, Rob Zerban, the small businessman challenging Congressman Paul Ryan, submited rougly 2,300 nomination signatures from all parts of Wisconsin's 1st Congressional District - nearly 230% of the required amount!

Wisconsin's Government Accountability Board requires Congressional candidates to submit 1,000 signatures to qualify for the November ballot, with a maximum of submitting 2,000 signatures.

"I've heard from people across the district and the political spectrum and the message is clear: Paul Ryan must be held accountable for his 14 years of failed decisions," Zerban said.

"The support I've received around the 1st Congressional District is overwhelming. People are hungry for a change from Paul Ryan's fiscal phonyism and want someone with actual budgeting experience working for them. I'm honored they have placed their support squarely behind me."

I need to point out that Rob did it with a true grassroots campaign, and not with a couple of busloads of political operatives that his über rich supporters bought and shipped to our state for the Republicans this year.

I am glad to support Rob in his effort to help reclaim Wisconsin.  Try to throw a little love his way too, in whatever form you can.  His website is here.
