Good News For Grigsby

From the office of Representative Tamara Grigsby, who has been in the hospital for the past month, half of that in ICU:
“Rep. Grigsby continues to make progress in her medical recovery and has been released from the hospital. Her recovery will continue in a private setting as recommended by her physicians. Rep. Grigsby and her family express their heartfelt gratitude for the kindness and respect shown during this incredibly difficult time. The Grigsby Office will continue to provide updates as Tamara moves toward a full recovery.

“Many have expressed an interest in sending flowers to Tamara and her family. In lieu of flowers, Rep. Grigsby requests that interested parties instead make a small donation to a Wisconsin organization representing the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. To honor the Martin Luther King Day of Service, Grigsby prefers that, instead of flowers, the cause of social justice move forward. Groups such as Urban Underground, the Milwaukee Inner City Congregations Allied for Hope (MICAH), the Wisconsin Council on Children and Families, and the Wisconsin Campaign Against Violence are a few of many organizations that represent part of Dr. King’s—and Rep. Grigsby’s—commitment to better lives for all.”
I hope that she continues with her recovery and rejoins the fight for our freedom and our state soon. She is a tremendous leader and is sorely missed.

  1. That is good news. I hope she is better soon. She is one of my favorites, even though she doesn't represent my district. She seems to be very intelligent and seems to care about people.
