For some interesting information on the Koch Industries' pollution in Wisconsin from 2007-2009, check out the story Kochs Toxic Gifts at www.prwatch.org. For those three years, the 7 facilities reviewed released 5.4 million pounds of toxic pollutants into our air, water, and soil.
This amount was made up by 32 different toxic pollutants including dioxin, nickel, benzene, and others.
The closest facility to Madison is in McFarland where Koch facilities poured more than 20 thousand pounds of toxics into the environment. This includes significant amounts of reproductive toxins such as the fetotoxic ethylbenzene.
As the Moody Blues once said "Breath Deep the Gathering Gloom".....
How philosophically profound.
