We reported recently about the Southern Poverty Law Center's report About the massive influx of hate groups that have sprung up in America since President Obama was elected(hint: one way to identify them - they have "Patriot" in their title).
As we see in Florida, things are really starting to get out of hand.
Authorities in Florida believe two missing boys are being held on a sailboat by their “anti-government” father and mother.
WTVJ-TV reported on Friday that 4-year-old Cole Hakken and his 2-year-old brother Chase are believed to have been taken from their maternal grandmother’s home on April 3 by their father, 35-year-old Joshua Hakken. Hakken allegedly broke into the home and tied her down with zip-ties.
Police said Joshua Hakken subsequently sailed out of the area on a 25-foot, 1972 Morgan sailboat with the two children and his wife, 34-year-old Sharyn Hakken. They are thought to be headed toward the Gulf of Mexico.
According to NBC News, The boys’ grandmother was awarded custody over them following Joshua Hakken’s arrest in June 2012 for drug possession and allegedly selling narcotics in front of them at an “anti-government rally.”
I guess the "anti-government" rally means anything goes. Why is it always the biggest loons of all are the "anti-government" crazies?
Looks like taking your kids to an "anti-government" rally, is not a recommended activity!
O look there just so happens to be an "anti-government" rally coming up in Madison!
I see one of the speakers is Charles Brey, who has a rather loose definition of the Castle Doctrine, having advocated that Recall petition gatherers be shot. He leads an active fantasy life, pretending at one point to be the leader of a vigilante-style, right-wing "enforcer" group. Oddly enough he's a public employee, a moocher, so his anti-tax, anti-government rhetoric is obviously the result of a confused mind, and that's putting it kindly. Needless to say, everyone will bring their guns.
ReplyDeleteI didnt know that Brey worked for us....who knew that someone who spent so much time telling us how independent he is, is actually dependent on us to pay his bills.
ReplyDeleteinteresting
Don't forget the "sovereign citizen" son of Tea Party leader KS up in Eagle River. He ran for Sheriff and lost, after saying he's stop the IRS from collecting taxes that people owed the Federal government, and, saying that immigrants might "disappear" in the woods up North (both statements documented in letters to the Editor to ensure this info is on the record for the FBI and Southern Poverty Law Center. The KS group, btw, is listed on the Southern Poverty Law Center's website.
