But even the small number of jobs Walker did create is a fleeting thing, as we continue to lead the nation in jobs lost:
The number of people filing new jobless claims across the country skyrocketed by 68,000 to 368,000, with the state of Wisconsin leading the way, according to a weekly report from the U.S. Department of Labor. Please note that Walker's failure is of such epic proportions that Wisconsin's new unemployment claims exceed that of the second and third worst states combined. Walker's ineptitude is beyond description.
Wisconsin posted the largest increase in new claims with 4,420. Other states reporting large increases in new claims include: Ohio (2,597), Kentucky (1,538), Massachusetts (1,129) and New Jersey (1,124).
Now we know why the Teapublicans made getting unemployment compensation so much harder. Even they knew that they were going to fail in a big way.
