  1. Went to Amazon and had a WTF moment.

Under About the Author, it says "Before that, he worked for the American Red Cross and IBM."

When did that happen? I'm especially interested in what Walker did for IBM, when and where.

    Does anyone know? Buehler?

    1. I found a source for Walker’s IBM experience. It is the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel from March 29, 2002. Steve Schultze has the byline.

“With a part time job at IBM selling warranties on mainframe computers.” This was while Walker was still at Marquette.

Anyone who knows how IBM operates knows that it would not let a part-time college student sell anything to IBM mainframe customers. Walker cannot stop the BS pouring out of his mouth. And journalists do not call him on it allowing Walker to get away with his BS. Then we pay the price to clean up his shit.

  2. That sounds like a B.S. job. Selling warranties sounds like "aftersales service," the dweeb at the dealership that calls you to see if you want rust-proofing on your new car, or a "lifetime warranty" on service and parts. Or the IBM mainframe equivalent of floor mats or a better stereo.

    1. IBM would never allow a college student working part time come anywhere near a mainframe client. After sales service made big profits for Big Blue. Walker never came close to an IBM client. At best he made coffee the Closers.

  3. Somebody call IBM and ask.
