It's a small wonder the Governor's message is resonating across the country: what a study in contrasts...as our president vetoes the Keystone XL Pipeline, killing the creation of thousands of new jobs, here in Wisconsin our State Senate votes "Right to Work" legislation out of committee, moving our state into position to create thousands of new jobs. What a difference 852 miles can make.
To which someone left this comment:
Shari Pes----------wski: God has blessed us with a governor who cares about the citizens and not big businesses.
In case you think your eyes have deceived you let me post that again:
Shari Pes----------wski: God has blessed us with a governor who cares about the citizens and not big businesses.
There really are no words and there really is no hope for WI.
Jeff,
ReplyDeleteWalker not only balanced the budget, he fixed the budget with a surplus, all to help middle class citizens of the state. Call me crazy, but I'm no more delusional than a Charlie Sykes fan.
This is what he claims; this is how he refunded; yet look where we are now!
DeleteTime to look at your totem?
ReplyDelete"A Totem is an object that is used to test if oneself is in one's own reality (dream or non-dream) and not in another person's dream. A totem has a specially modified quality (such as a distinct weight, balance, or feel) in the real world, but in a dream of someone who does not know it well, the characteristics of the totem will very likely be off. Any ordinary object which has been in some way modified to affect its balance, weight, or feel will work as a totem.
In order to protect its integrity, only the totem's owner should ever handle it. In that way, the owner is able to tell whether or not they are in someone else's dream. In the owner's own dream world, the totem will feel correct.
Each Republican legislator must explain to us exactly how RTW will create living wage family supporting jobs in Wisconsin. To date Walker and his Republican's have cost the state35,000 middle and high wage jobs between 2010-2013. The jobs that they have created are mostly those that pay under$10 per hour. The rest of their jobs pay%10-$12.50 per hour. The wages for the thousands of welding jobs they tout have fallen 6.2% and CNC manufacturing wages have gone down 4.7%. Over all production wages have fallen 5.2 % under Walker and friends! They owe us a derailed explanation of how exactly RTW will jump start our economy with good paying jobs. I bet not a single Republican legislator can provide the answer, because they know that there is no acceptable response.
ReplyDeleteI know that you meant "detailed explanation," but if any explanation is ever offered it will most likely be "derailed."
DeleteThey do not owe you any explanation, his is what we sent them there in Nov to do. Remember when Obama said "we won you lost" or "elections have consequences"
ReplyDeleteNow that is what democracy looks like.
Most of us still think politicians have to explain the policies they're enacting, regardless of margin of victory. BTW, this thread is about Walker and Wisconsin Republicans, not Obama and Washington Democrats.
Deletewaht is wrong with you 3:14? You think this is some knid of democrcy?
DeleteTRains gotta run on time! Gonna brerak some egGs to bake the caKE!
whadis wrung with you 4:40? Gibberish flibberish doodle de dum!
DeleteYou got to be joking!!! They don't have to tell us how RTW is going to magically change our jobs situation from the disaster of their jobs policies during the first term. You do realize that Walker is the most untruthful governor in the country! Since when do we elect people and they don't have to tell us what their actions are going to be. Wait..........your right this governor did that with Act 10. Wait.........he did it again when he said we had a roaring surplus before the election but it disappeared the day after the election. You are right elections do have consequences but we don't see them coming with this clown because everything is:"I GOT A SECRET!"
ReplyDeleteThe RepubliCONS, have struck "adequate income" from WI law! The Democrats asked to have it brought back as an amendment, and the Republicans REJECTED "adequate income" as defined as pay in WI!
ReplyDeleteWe don't need much more explaining than THAT.
DeleteCould it be any clearer?
I don't know if anyone caught the talk about Republicans repealing prevailing wage laws! WOW.
ReplyDeleteStruck "Adequate income" for work, and going after prevailing wages....RIGHT TO SLAVE !
